Any time I can get a gluten free pizza, it’s a treat. This one, however, was not worth the wait. At Yo Pizza, they bake to order, so allow time for that. The service was slow, and I mean getting a salad and drink refills. I had the caprese salad, and it was not good: sad, tiny pieces of lettuce with large basil leaves that hadn’t been chopped through. My husband’s traditional(with gluten) pizza was fine, but that’s all: just fine. We’ll stop at chick-fil-a close to the interstate next time we travel through.

Best. Pizza. Ever. Hands Down. The Cook Sticks & Mediterranean pizza were an absolute gem! It tasted as if someone walked outdoors, pulled veggies from the garden, rinsed them & served. Absolutely fresh, fresh, fresh! New weekly treat found while a job has us here in Augusta for about two years.

Great little pizza joint! The crust was nice but had a strange texture, however it was cooked perfectly. They have like 40 specialty pies. I got a medium half BBQ and half white. Also had a cannoli that was a perfect Italian cannoli. Wish I could give them 4 ½ stars.

Delicious homemade pizza! Delicious homemade cheese cake! There could not possibly be more toppings piled on top of each slice of pizza! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful! So glad we stopped by on our way home to Mississippi!

Great family pizza spot! The dough and sauce are out of this world! Lots of unique toppings… kids have a great time coloring on the table paper and adults can enjoy a generous glass of wine!

Had dinner here on a Wednesday night after a tennis clinic. It’s a quirky, casual place, and it was no trouble that we were glistening. We actually went here with good intentions, and planned to order«healthy». The siren song of the pizza wore us down, and 3 of us ended up splitting 2 pies. I ordered cheese pizza with chicken and bacon, and the other pizza had mushrooms, peppers and onions. The pizza has thin crust(yay), generous toppings, and is not overloaded with sauce. I thought it was very good. I’d certainly go back, and perhaps stray from my normal pizza topping comfort zone. Yo Pizza has TONS of topping options. You also can order sandwiches and salads, and you know it — dessert! I overheard the waitress telling another patron what the cheesecake specialties were for the evening, and I was sold. I had a slice of Mounds cheesecake to go. It was so good.

Great pizza. So so service. We’ve been done eating for at least 15 minutes. It took us about 15 – 20 minutes to eat. So we hadn’t seen our waitress in over 30 minutes. And the restaurant is primarily empty. Despite the lack of attentiveness, I love the pizza here. It’s easily my favorite in town. There are literally a million possibilities. I counted 69 toppings + 8 different bases. My usual is half pepperoni and half brunch. The brunch had scrambled eggs, spinach, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, bacon and sausage.(I omit the sausage.) They are a bit pricey. 10 inch pies are $ 9 for one topping. 12″ /$ 10.50. 14″ /$ 12. Specialty pies $ 13.50, $ 15.50 and $ 18.50. It’ll take a while to get your pizza. I’ve never ordered any appetizers but I recommend it if you’re starved. Worth the wait though.

I really wanted to adore YOPIZZA! It’s not far from where I live, my bank, my dry cleaners, and Bi-Lo… but i only like it. I love the worker and the quirky atmosphere but the food just seemed ok. Ok in that if you have never been there go and find one thing you like and stick with it. I just could find something I LOVED! It’s a nice place though.

Returned to Yo Pizza today for lunch. It’s Saturday at one, and only one waitress. She is stretched thin by the crowd. The wait was not too bad today, even though she was waiting tables by herself. The pizza was excellent, even thought they forgot one of the toppings. They knocked off some off the price due to the error. The owner needs to hire more wait staff. I’m leaving my review at 4 stars cause’ the pizza is excellent, and the waitress was great.

Decides to visit for lunch this place is small but clean restaurant, I ordered a small pepperoni pizza and it was delicious everything from the crust and toppings. The only problem was it took a bit long(20 minutes) for them to get a small pizza ready but that can be taken care of by just placing a order ahead, I would definitely eat there again.

Great customer service. My buddy tried to mess with their recipes, and the waitress put him in his place.

Good pizza, fresh ingredients. I created my own and it was delish. May have been short staffed. Service was really sloooow. If not for that, four stars for sure.

The food is good but not consistent. My first visit was amazing so I couldn’t wait to try it again, the second time we ordered take out and when I got home the crust was so mushy/undercooked that it was almost inedible. On our next visit we noticed the owner doing some kind of performance review with an employee, after 30 – 35 mins the employee(turned out to be the cook) finally went to the back and started making our pizza. It took an hour to finally get served.

Happy Unilocal lead me to this place. This place had great character and great pizza. Do not expect to order your«normal» pizza here. I ordered a Ruben pizza, and it was amazing! I also had a Greek Salad, It tasted as though all of the ingredients were rich with flavor, and fresh. Can’t wait to go back!

So many pizza possibilities here at Yo Pizza. This is could be a hidden gem in Augusta, GA. Their idea is fantastic… eclectic décor… eclectic pizza toppings. I mean dude I got a Rueben Pizza. You can also get a Seafood pizza here. I could see this place being right at home in Portland, Austin, or Brooklyn… hipsters would love it. Alas, it’s in Augusta, GA and hidden from the hipsters and foodies. While the concept is great… I need their pizza to be better. The crust I got on my pizza was a little floppy. I wish I would have tried their other crusts… because honestly the idea of my pizza was better than my actual pizza. That being said… I would try it again next time in Augusta and I suggest you jokers that actually live their do to.

This is definitely the place to go if you’re in Augusta looking for something new and interesting to eat. They have a huge selection of toppings and different ways to «set up» a pizza — this is not your typical«choose a few toppings» place, you can choose a «base» for your pizza which can be regular red sauce, or olive oil/garlic, ricotta, etc, they have all different types… then pick your toppings… but I recommend trying one of their preset combos, something that sounds tasty but also new… their«Yo Pizza» was delicious, and I tried a «Reuben pizza» just for kicks, didn’ t know what to expect but I wasn’t disappointed. If you’re not sure what to get, just ask for a slice of the«pizza of the day» — it’s always different and always good. I’ve seen other reviews mentioning the«crackery» crust — not all the pizzas are like that, it depends on the base. I’ve had some that had a doughy crust. Just ask the server which ones are which and you can get either. Also, prices are excellent! Highly recommended!

I couldn’t make up my mind… so… Half«Seafood Lovers»(Olive Oil /Garlic Base with cheese, spinach, mushrooms, crab, shrimp, smoked oysters, and tomato)… Half«Del Mar»(Alfredo Base with cheese, asparagus, crab, shrimp, and tomato) all on a thin crust. I usually prefer a thicker crust, but can also appreciate a good thin crust. This crust was excellent… but indeed thin. While the shrimp was a just little over-done and the crab was imitation, the taste was fantastic! 13.99 is not a bad deal for such a magnificent 10″ creation. The service was very good and quite friendly. If I have the opportunity, I will definitely return.

I was disappointed after having lunch here today. I went in with high expectations because of the glowing reviews on Unilocal, and I was met with pizza that was just… average. As a fellow Unilocaler mentioned, I found the crust a bit«crackery». I like all kinds of pizza crust whether it be the doughy NY style, the firm and flavorful Chicago style, or the crunchiness of a good woodfire. BUT, «crackery» isn’t really a crust that I’m ever going to get behind. Anyway, I ordered the lunch special, and the portions were generous. The chili was pretty good. The service was great. The décor seemed like something from the 90’s. It looked dated, like something that would fit into«Reality Bites» or «Singles». Overall, my experience was OK, but since there is a Mellow in town and I’ve heard good things about Pizza Joint, I probably won’t be making Yo Pizza a regular stop.

Love love love love looove, Yo Pizza. I lived in Augusta for 6 years and was a regular here at least once a week. Probably the only thing I miss about Augusta. FYI, this isn’t the kind of place you go to get a slice of pepperoni. Look at the specialty pies– that’s where it’s at. Some of the most creative and delicious combinations I’ve ever seen on a pizza. Let me also say that I love pizza(in general) so much that I would marry it if marrying food wasn’t illegal in Georgia. I have a lot of opinions about pizza and the pizza at Yo is a benchmark for me. I’ve only had other things on the menu a few times– the Yo Peppers kick ass, the calzones are pretty good(although inconsistent) and the salads are really solid. Lunch special is a good deal and you get a lot of pizza(they say«a slice» but that seems to translate into a quarter of a pizza.) The pesto is made from scratch, they have vegan offerings(a rare find in Augusta) and the atmosphere is fun. Overall, I dream about Yo Pizza. Pretty often. When I was back last month I ate there and noticed they’ve even added some new stuff to the menu, which I am excited to try. PS– favorite pizzas: Buffalo(with celery), Pesto, Santa Fe.

This is a very funky looking place to say the least. I didn’t expect such artistic expression in Augusta. I did the lunch special– $ 6 something for a salad and slice of pizza. Not a bad deal. The pizza crust is very crackery. like a pie crust(as oppose to pizza crust). It sufficed but I personally prefer doughy crust. My salad was tasty as well. I went for the caprese salad. I’d recommend it. Overall, the food was OK and the atmosphere was… trippy.
