Lillie’s is AMAZING. There’s still a lot of things we have yet to try on the menu like the noodles and beef options, but holy moly the sushi is out of this world! The Kamikaze Roll is probably the best I have ever had. The specialty cocktail that is a mojito is UNREAL. I couldn’t stop drinking them! Lillie’s is very reasonably priced and the staff is super nice. We love sushi dinner dates here. It’s a wonderful atmosphere with so many excellent menu choices. The dynamite shrimp is another favorite… There’s so many to name. Definitely recommend Lillie’s too all!

The food here is pretty good, but the service here SUCKS. The dining area is located right on the casino floor and since it is located in AC, prices are obviously pretty steep, but not extremely overpriced. The service here is extremely inconsistent, but for the most part, it’s bad. It takes awhile to be seated(because they have a lot of «reserved seats», but somehow, no one is there to claim them– I think they need to rework their reservation policy). It also takes awhile to get the server’s attention. Ordering takes awhile sometimes too… They have a sushi bar and alcohol bar here as well. You can definitely get a decent variety of Asian cuisines from this restaurant. I usually order random Chinese dishes to share, but I always come for their salad w/ginger dressing and yum yum babe roll. Super delicious!!! Restaurant décor/cleanliness deserves a 5/5, food 5/5, but service 1÷5…

Modern and elegant. The service was superb. I was down to A. C for a mini trip, and stayed at the Golden Nugget. I tried the Shrimp padti my spelling is off but I can describe the plate as a cross of sweet and spicy and very fragrant orange chicken. I’m describing the taste by the way. It’ is a noodle dish for those who have never had it with egg and vegetable stir fry. My other half had Dragon Roll and he loved it.

Beyond all the good details I gave on my last review, giving me a towel with cigarette ingredients inside show how unclean they are. Not only the fact that they take forever to take away plates that have been finished, they come around when you need the check. I finished a glass of water five minutes sitting into the table, it took them an hour to refill my glass, which was when I was paying for the check. They need to step up with the service and cleanliness. It’s disgusting for a restaurant to have such weak qualities when it’s an mid tier pricing restaurant in a casino.

Modern Asian dining on the casino floor. Whether you’re looking for fresh sushi or Hong Kong style chow mein, you’ll have a solid dining experience here. This place is located right off the casino floor at Golden Nugget, so you may or may not be breathing in heavy smoking fumes if you do decide to dine here. The sushi here is excellent. Very fresh and with huge chunks of fish. I also had the Hong Kong style chow mein, which was very good and very much authentic. Well worth a visit.

I am actually shocked to see so many low reviews as my experience was fantastic. We had an after midnight feast after having dinner at 6pm that night… I started off with the Crispy Dyno Shrimp which was very good and easily obtained a 4.5 star. The Edamame was as good as it gets sprinkled in salt and the Spicy Kani Salad was absolutely outrageous. Easily Top 5 for me. The Maguro! Just a «10». I have to give their Tuna, hands down the best I’ve ever eaten, That includes NYC, North Jersey, Cape Cod, Boston and all other places I’ve been for top sushi. I had 6 pieces that were cut into gigantic cubes and just have no words how to describe the flavor. A Ruthian Home Run! Yum Yum Babe Roll was a solid 4 Star, great roll, would def order again. Finished strong with a Spicy Maguro and Avacado salad. I know I didn’t order it but it came out and did not go to waste. What a treat! Not a gambler so I really only hit AC for bachelor parties, but after experiencing the Golden Nugget for the night, I might have to book a room so I can bring the wife for a great feast!

The third and final stop on my recent Golden Nugget happy hour crawl was the biggest winner. At this point, my husband and I already had a decent amount to drink but were in serious need of some food. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and we split an order of edamame, chicken pot stickers and the vegetable spring rolls. All of the food ended up being a little over $ 20 including tax. The pricing is a little confusing as the online menus are different for mobile and desktop, and also vary from the menu in the restaurant. Our server was quick and to the point. We placed our order, got our food and received our check with no extra attention or frills. We really weren’t looking for a big service experience at this point. The food was standard and the price was right. After our third happy hour stop, we finally walked away feeling nourished. I’d come back to Lillie’s for happy hour if I was in Golden Nugget, however it won’t be an AC happy hour destination for me.

Comfortable and sleek looking Asian restaurant just above the casino floor. The service is excellent, and the food is solid with reasonable(for casinos) pricing. Our shared meal consisted of salmon roll($ 5 happy hour special), won ton and hot & sour soups(I thought the hot & sour was excellent), and a shared order of General Tso’s chicken(good but not best I’ve had). This was PLENTY of dinner for the two of us and the bill was $ 40. I like dining where you can watch/feel the vibe of the casino floor. One gaffe is that the restaurant is perched right above a high roller pit where they allow smoking. Try to avoid sitting close this gaming pit as the smoke is noticeable in an already poorly ventilated casino. Closed Wednesdays, Happy Hour each weekday I believe and a late night Happy Hour on weekends. Check it out!

I don’t get why this place gets less than 5 stars. Server was attentive and friendly, and the food/sushi was very good. It was also fairly cheap considering we’re in the middle of the casino floor. Ambiance is hip and trendy. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Love coming here when at Golden Nugget. Great atmosphere. Located on casino floor, yet great central location for non gamblers. Sushi is top notch. Service is always consistent.

This is an example of a manager who try to convince a customer that he know better. We sat by the bar and ordered few dishes to share, and one pan fried bass dish for each. The tempura shrimp was good. The noodles was good, the Miso soup was ok, and the fried bass require a whole explanation: We got 2 dishes, and both were greasy in a way that I could not believe they expect us to actually eat it. Just from looking at it I felt sick. When the waitress came(Who were VERY nice), we told here that we do not need any refund, but this dish is a shame. She let the manager know, and when he came he told us: «This is bass, it is a greasy fish». Do you believe that??? I have been eating Bass in all forms, and I am a regular at Tomo Sushi in NYC, and he want to tell me that this dish of oil and Bass is the way a sea Bass should be. Their food is OK, and I wouldn’t bother review it if not for that joke.

I’m not gonna get to lengthy on this one. I was staying at the Golden Nugget for the first time and we all needed to eat before we went up to the room to start getting ready and all that stuff. 3 of us went noodles and 1 of us went with just an appetizer. The Shrimp app that my brother got was surprisingly large for the price and being in Atlantic City. It was some kind of Firecracker shrimp or something I’m sure you’ll recognize what I mean if you look at the menu. Everybody had a bit and it was tasty. The noodle dish’s are huge. 2 friends got the Pad Thai and said they were fuller then they wanted to be before drinking and had a good bit left to nosh later. I got the Seafood Udon and I was a bit let down. While it was a huge bowl of soup; I sat their envious of my friends heaping piles of noodles. There should have been more seafood as well. Service was friendly and water was full.

I love any type of sushi/thai/Chinese food so we ending up going here. I’m going to post pics of the seaweed salad, dynamite shrimp(my fav of the night), California roll, hand grenades, shrimp pad thai(since a lot of ppl on here ordered it — I tried it minus the peanuts), and beef fried rice. Everything was yummy with plenty of leftovers! Service was very nice & attentive but there weren’t many people there. We sat at the sushi bar which was cool — My only negative would be that my mojito didn’t taste like it has alcohol in it.

Delicious and fresh sushi. We ordered a few speciality rolls, sashimi and fried rice. My favorite would have to be the sea urchin, uni. The service was great. I would definitely go back next time I’m in AC.

We stopped in for some soup. The lady had the spicy seafood udon, and I had the vegetable rice noodles. We split an order of bok choy. I thought that both the soups were surprisingly bland, both needed a heavy dose of seasoning. Speaking of which, it would be nice if there were more condiments available sitting out at the sushi bar. We didn’t try the sushi or anything, but I would not come back for noodles. The bok choy was pretty great. I was a little annoyed that the side dish was $ 9, but it’s a casino and they are always over priced. However, this is a huge plate of bok choy, and the garlic broth that they were gently cooked in was very good. I would recommend this dish. Service was curt and quick. Nothing fancy. As others have mentioned, you are basically eating on the gaming floor. This is a quick bite between hands.

Delicious, fresh sushi & appetizers. Cool & enjoyable ambiance, feels isolated even though it’s on the casino floor. Entrees and subcategory menu items are a little overpriced for what you get, but generally very tasty. One downside of dining at Lillie’s is the unavoidable inhalation of the cigarette smoke wafting in from the adjacent Asian gaming pit. Also, hours of operation have been inconsistent for months, frustrating as a GN regular — but DEFINITELY hit the late night happy hour from midnight — 2AM on Fridays & Saturdays if you miss it before dinner.

I have been to the one in the city(which Asians like) but here in Atlantic City it is fancied up and chic compared to the sister restaurant in the city. Located in the Golden Nugget Hotel the modern décor and Pan Asian cuisine covers basically all of what Americans might consider ‘Asia.‘ The service was top notch as it should be in a hotel like this. While our waiter did miss an order leaving one of our friends meal less. It was quickly pushed out as we all ate. We shared since each portions were actually enough to do so. Our group was pretty easy going and I can see another group would probably have made a fuss. The manager quickly came over to apologize and comp the meal. Everyone ordered the predictable selection of Pad Thai, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Mongolian beef and Fried Rice. Overall, the dishes were all good and well suited for the taste buds of those might go here. It is decent enough for those seeking Asian flavors but certainly not ‘authentic.’

When we visit the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City, this is one of our staples for dining. If you like Asian food or sushi this is a solid place to dine. During our latest visit, I had the nigri and sushi roll samplers. My girlfriend enjoyed the sashimi sampler and the Vietnamese phở. The samplers were excellent. The nigri includes tuna, white fish, octopus and salmon. The roll includes spicy tuna, yellow tail, California, Philly and spider rolls. I recommend the sushi roll sampler for a large appetite. Their plates are well prepared and visually appealing. For my girlfriends dish she had the sashimi sampler that includes tuna, salmon, unagi, kanikama, octopus, white fish & yellow tail. For a better sampling of their sushi offerings I recommend the sashimi over the nigri sampler. The Vietnamese phở was very good, but needed some spice. However, they provide chili sauce to spice the dish to your liking. The service here was excellent; our server refilled my water about 7 times as I rehydrated from my traditional afternoon AC hangover. They are always friendly, efficient and attentive during our visits. If you get an opportunity before your visit, sign up for a Landry’s Select card to get dining credits for future visits. The club costs money to sign up for, but the amount you invest in membership is immediately credited for use during your next meal at a Landry’s owned restaurant. They also give you $ 25 a year for the month of your birthday. You also earn credit for dining at all Landry’s owned restaurants nationwide. They also accept your casino comps here. Combining the two can help greatly to reduce your dining costs. Overall, an strong dining experience with efficient and friendly service. Don’t hesitate to stop in when visiting the Golden Nugget.
