OK5 stars, but that’s for the salt water taffy – delish. If you haven’t had it or if you missed this spot while in AC – you never visited AC – OK?

Everything we got from this place was good. The fudge — every flavor was good — especially the maple walnut. The taffy was Fralinger’s taffy and it was delicious — pick out your own flavors — do not get a pre packed box because those are not fresh and you don’t want any licorice or whatever you don’t personally like in there. The best thing we got were caramel covered marshmallows wrapped in yellow wax paper and sealed with a gold sticker. Those were amazing. LOVED every bite. It is expensive so be prepared for that, and you may have to wait a long time on line.

When I hear the words«salt water taffy,» only one name and logo come to mind: James. They’ve been doing taffy(and other confections, like those to-die-for sugar mints) for ages, and they do it best. Skip that dollar store taffy and treat yourself to something authentic!

I always make it a point to stop at James’ whenever I am in Atlantic City. They have so many flavors of taffy that everyone can find something they like. They also have chocolate-covered taffy, nuts, pretzels, and other candies. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are more than happy to give you a sample if you’re not sure about a taffy flavor.

Check out your water taffy here! Come here for free samples… I had the strawberry(my fave), cookie dough(‘eh) and cookies ‘n crème(ok). If you walk to Fralinger’s, they actually say to NOT get any samples. Psh~!
