Came here for brunch on Saturday June 4th. We were sitting promptly. Came here with inlaws, and they enjoyed the food. I ordered crispy calamari salad(very fresh and good tasting). Since we all shared I really enjoyed chicken curry nanwich, and chicken potsticks or something to this name(seasoned grilled chicken and peanut sauce) that was my favorite, very tender and justify chicken breast, nicely seasoned. For the drinks, I only ordered old fashioned, and it was very nicely done.

Very underwhelming experience. It’s got a great location but that’s about it. Pad Thai — This was way oversauced and for some reason the parts didn’t come together very well. I usually love pad thai, even bad pad thai, but I couldn’t bring myself to eat more than a couple bites. Chicken Lettuce Wraps — Wayyy too salty. I couldn’t barely it at all, despite wrapping a tiny amount of chicken in loads of lettuce, because of how overwhelmingly salty it was. Also way too much sauce. Would not recommend their food.

*Brunch review only* Despite living in and loving New York, I will always be a Philly girl. It’s my home. I love the people, even though we’re some of the most hated people out there. I love being a Philadelphian in New York, because I can totally embody the Philly stereotype if I so desire and it’s all kinds of fun. One of my snobby Philly-isms is that I’m quite disapproving whenever something – anything – *outside* of Philly claims to be somehow associated/on par with Philly. The obvious example here is the Philly cheesesteak. If you are not in Philly, do not call your steak hoagie(yeah, it’s not called a sub, deal with it) with cheese on it a Philly cheesesteak. Simple. My point here, is that I had the same initial repulsion to Continental when I heard of its existence on the boardwalk in Atlantic City. Stephen Starr only belongs in Philly, I tell ya! While I still believe that to my core(yes, I know there’s a Budakkan in NYC too), I was pleasantly surprised by my good experience at Continental AC. It is indeed a Starr restaurant, so it deserves some respect. Came here for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. We had been out late gambling the night before, so wanted some warm, yummy food and loads and loads of coffee. I was wary of just about every eatery in AC, so I had know idea where to lead us. Thankfully, Continental popped up at the top of my list for brunch places in the area, it had good reviews, so we figured it couldn’t be too bad. This Continental is stationed in a mall, meaning its surrounded by a number of other eateries. Remember that time I mentioned that there’s a Budakkan in NYC? Well there’s one in AC too, and it’s right next to Continental. Once I got over myself and stopped scoffing and saying«how AC is just trying to be Philly but it can never come close», I opened my eyes to reality and realized that if we sat outside the dimly-lit restaurant, we could have a nice view of the ocean. So we did just that! Continental offers«outside» seating(it’s still in a mall but is separate from the main space) which is tacky beyond belief as far as décor goes but that didn’t deter us. So my note here about brunch: this is ALL that Continental serves on the weekends. They do have«lunch-esque» dishes on their brunch menu, so if you’re not a big egg/waffle/french toast person, shame on you. Oh sorry, I meant if you’re not a big breakfast food person, they have options for you. Service was great. Zero complaints. Our waiter was incredibly nice and very much heard my request to keep the coffee and water coming. Think Lily asking Linus to never let her glass get empty in HIMYM, but with non-alcoholic beverages. And of course, food! I ordered the Kale, Mushroom and Gouda Omelette($ 12) which comes with toast and potatoes. Healthy with a little bit of fat to help out with the nasty hangover. I was very happy with my choice and would highly recommend it. Gouda is always a quality cheese choice, in my humble opinion, and it went wonderfully in this dish. And you get a good amount of yummy food for a decent price – or at least relative to what they’d charge for an identical dish in NYC. I did have a similar omelet the next day that was a few bucks less at a diner, but that’s a diner. You’re paying for something nicer here.

Amazing spot! Our server DJ was really knowledgeable about their menu and gave a lot of recommendations. The presentation of the restaurant and atmosphere was very nice. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re in AC. And to top it off the food was really good too.

We came to the continental for brunch and we were thought they were great. The service was excellent and our waitress was so nice. She took her time and was very accommodating to our needs. We got a order of monkey bread for appetizer and my husband loved it. I personally thought it was a little too sweet for me, however, he said it was just right. Then I got the chicken and waffles and he got funnel care french toast. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the bacon infused gravy really topped the dish very nicely. The waffle was just okay but the chicken and gravy really knocked it out of the park. My husband’s french toast was pretty good, nicely crusted and when combine with the strawberry jam and coconut whipped cream, the dish was delicious. The portion was also huge and was really good price for the size. We really enjoyed our experiences here and we would definitely return again if we come back to the AC.

Two words… Continental Cosmo… best drink i’ve ever had. The food was great… these service was great… the restaurant was great… I honestly really can’t say anything bad about the place. Nice little place to eat in Atlantic City. I guess I wish they had the ingredients on the menu so I can make my own Continental Cosmo but other than that 5 stars!

Read the reviews for this place and a lot of people was saying how great it is but I think most of those reviews came from the price. This is one of the more affordable places to eat at ceasars but the food wasn’t that good. We got dressed up to go but realized quickly that it wasn’t that kind of place. I ordered a burger and fries and it was mediocre at best. The burger was border line burnt and very dry and smothered in cheese. Not a fan. The fries were decent but they were those tiny shoe string fries and they were piled on the plate. We had a calamari appetizer, I didn’t have any but my Bf says it was good. He had some sort of low mein that was okay but looked dry as well. Wouldn’t return here but a lot of food for the price. Plus we also had a 20 $ coupon given to us from ceasars to dine there.

3.5 stars Came here in a group of 5 for a girls’ weekend in AC. We were staying at Caesar’s, so it was a quick walk over the skybridge to the shops. Got a table pretty easily with no reservations, and the restaurant stayed fairly empty through the time we were there. We started off with a cocktail party shaker, which had ~6 servings of the drink of your choice. Slightly more economic way to get the party started since it cost the same as 5 individual drinks, but they were pretty sweet/not very strong. For food, a few of us split the Rad Na, French Onion Soup Dumplings, Spinach Ravioli, and the Bacon Cheeseburger and Fries. Food was overall decent, if mediocre. Burger was overcooked, and I wouldn’t recommend the soup dumplings. The fries that came with the burger were fantastic, though! Since we were celebrating a bachelorette, our server also sent us a free chocolate cupcake which was a nice little bite to end the meal. Swanky atmosphere and friendly, attentive service bump the ratings up.

I do not understand these reviews!!! Let’s set the scene; Post AC Beerfest, wake up a tad foggy. Read reviews for this place and pick it OVER A BUFFET. Wrong choice #1. Ambiance was nice, but then we(Party of 4) were sat at a rickety table, which is a nightmare for people with full cups of coffee. We order, then wait a while longer than anywhere else, for coffee. The most necessary part of your first meal. We all finish our coffee, and wait another 20 mins for our food and our coffee to be refilled. Then we had to wait for syrup to be brought, 10 mins after our food arrived! No big deal right? Everyone likes cold pancakes right? The price and the quality of food were off, considering the food was mediocre at best. So many better places to eat in AC.

Its been a while since I’ve gone to AC so I was pleasantly surprised to find a new batch of restaurants located on the 2nd floor of the Ceasar shops. Really cute little area with a variety of dining options. The décor for the restaurant was very modern and sleek, nicely done. There was dim lighting and ambiance was nice for brunch. The menu had a good selectionof both lunch and brunch options. Service was okay, food came out kind of slow and we waited over 20 mins. 3⁄10 for the chicken and waffles. Portions were okay for the $ 17 price point but the quality was not worth it. This dish comes with chicken breast that’s breaded, which is my first issue because normally it’s real fried chicken. My biggest qualm was with the breading, which kept falling off and was soggy. 7⁄10 for the big bang — this includes some pancakes, turkey sausage, bacon, eggs, bread and home fries. This menu options was probably the best deal for $ 16 because the portion was so big. 2 people could probably share this option. This was my personal favorite from the meal. 9⁄10 — shoestring fries — so so good! definitely need to try these out. They reminded me of the potato stix snack, just less crunchy and more like french fries. The potion size is huge so I’d recommend splitting this among friends. We had trouble eating all of it, even with five of us. Pretty decent restaurant give the area. I’d come back again but probably for dinner to try out some other dishes.

I haven’t been in Atlantic City for a while so when my friend and I discovered that there were new restaurant options that opened up at the mall on the boardwalk behind Caesar’s, I was very interested to try. First, the place looks great — from the décor to the ambience to the food itself. Before ordering, we tried checking Unilocal to see what menu items were highlighted in previous reviews or even if there were any pictures to give us an idea of how large the portions would be. There weren’t many reviews or pictures about the lunch items but it turns out the portions on the plate were quite substantial. My friend had a veggieburger since he couldn’t have any meat until Easter the following week. He thoroughly enjoyed the burger and when I had a taste of the patty, i also agreed that it was a very tasty veggie patty. I’ll quote my friend, «You can’t even tell it’s a veggie patty. You still get the fulfilling taste of a burger.» I had a Tuscan chicken sandwich and I was also very pleased with my selection. The chicken was juicy and tender and the side of fries were thin cut and crisp. If you’ve ever had Smash Burger, the fries here at Continental are identical to those at Smash. I had asked for a side of Sriracha ketchup that I saw was available with another sandwich simply because I was curious to try it with the chicken sandwich and that was also a great taste — if you swap the pesto sauce with Sriracha ketchup instead. The hostess, waitresses, [and manager] were all very accommodating and friendly; they checked on us frequently and made sure to address anything we needed. I would definitely come back and based on the pictures I see from the dinner menu, I’m excited to see what’s in store for dinner.

This is one of the best places on the Boardwalk, for sure. We came here for brunch and were thoroughly satisfied. We shared the Egg White Frittata and the Breakfast Quesadilla. Both were decent portions for sharing or eating on your own. Boyfriend also got the Mid-Atlantic Mocha cocktail which was bomb. The server was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere/décor is really cool. I love that there’s a fire pit in the middle of the tables and you’re surrounded by a moat. I wanted to try so many things on the list but couldn’t eat that much ;) I’ll definitely be back here for more brunch or to try their dinner/happy hour!

Another 5+ star visit! I love this place, and this experience was no different. My wife and I had dinner here on Saturday night, and it again, came through with flying colors. This Continental restaurant kicks the one in Philly’s ass in every aspect! Very Very Highly Recommended!

On our last day in AC we all were feeling for some good brunch. I had previously found The Continental and informed my compadres I had the perfect place. I approached the hostess and asked for a table for 4. We were seated right outside of the Continental, in an area similar to a patio. The bright green tables with matching tan and green plastic chairs gave it an old school vibe, reminded me a bit of That 70s show. The décor was a bit all over the place though. I noticed a section across from us had industrial accents with a fireplace and the bar, white cushioned bar stools and chandeliers. I even took a peek inside of the restaurant and noticed it gave off a similar feel. The lighting was dim and sexy with glass/mirrored accent pieces. Really chill, nice spot for a dinner date. Now that I think about it I guess it was the décor of our area that didn’t mesh with everything else. The brunch menu is versatile with plenty of lunch and breakfast options. The cocktail list was appealing as well. I opted for a sangria to start which was not like your usual. The drink was sweet and the wine strong with a slight hint of cinnamon that added a nice twist. That set the expectation for all my future sangrias for sure, it was that good. Foodwise I ordered The Big Bang which came with a short stack, scrambled eggs, applewood smoked bacon, turkey sausage, potatoes and toast. I made sure to request blueberry pancakes instead, which was an additional $ 1.50. The plate was huge and pricing was on point, it only being around $ 17. The eggs and turkey sausage were delicious and the potatoes were seasoned well but the pancakes, a bit overmixed. There were a ton of fresh blueberries mixed in the batter but the pancakes themselves weren’t soft or fluffy. Good thing I was already full from all the other food so I didn’t miss them that much. I would love to come back dine inside of the restaurant and try their dinner menu. Thanks to my Elite friends for putting me on; the food, drinks and service here were enjoyable.

First time at the Continental and I was not disappointed. I started the night off with the Astronaut as my beverage and was pleasantly surprised an alcoholic drink with tang was so delicious. We ordered a bunch of dishes that included Szechuan Shoestring Fries, French Onion Soup Dumplings, Wagyu Sliders, Continental Salad, Buffalo Blue Cheese Meatballs, and a tartare dish. Food was delicious and the wait staff was pleasant. I am planning to check out their breakfast and will post on that. Update: I had the chance to try out brunch and ordered the Big Bang. It was like having a very tasty diner food in steroid portions. The pancakes were fluffy and light and the home fries were awesome. I can see why family and friends raved about it. I would come back for bfast!

This was my second visit and just like the first it didn’t disappoint. The dishes in the pic attached were simply delish. The food was as good as it looked. All three dishes combined were very spicy but it didn’t take away from the flavor. Unfortunately, like many places in AC)-: it was very empty for a Saturday night.

Great brunch place!!! Nice view at the top level and the server was really nice. The food was good too. The Philly steak egg rolls(big ones in pieces) tastes yummy, not so much to do with eggs but they were very filling. My waffles were amazing too! Our drinks were yum, enough alcohol for brunch but a little pricy.

Post lunch meal before we go back to NYC… Located right inside the boardwalk shopping mall on the third floor. I find this place to be kind of tacky — retro w/a touch of modernized oomp… To be honest I didn’t think the food would be that great but shockingly is was gooood. — French Onion Soup Dumplings — Cheesesteak Eggrolls — Huevos Rancheros — Continental Quickie The inside of the restaurant wasn’t opened yet nosey as I am on my way to use the restroom. There was these see through bubbles on the walls and as nosey as I am I walked right up to one of them and peeked. There is this funky looking room that looks like it is a bar/lounge inside the restaurant. Pretty neat. So I went inside to look at it and it was so pretty in there. The restroom was super funky and kind of confusing with the all around mirrors. It felt like a maze and I walked into the mirror thinking it was the way out. Whoops lol Overall a good dining experience. Service was good even though our waitress had a dry sense of humor whatever. I think I would come back to this place again.

As I sit here I am completely satisfied due to the enormous foodgasm I just had. Continental is a must do in AC! Overlooking the beach and boardwalk, equipped with a fountain running through the seating and firepit, is Continental. Very lush and high end design. Lavish furniture. An extensive cocktail menu and brunch — lunch menu packed with creative dishes. I ordered the Pomargarita to start. Presented in a cocktail shaker and perfectly garnished. For brunch I feasted my eyes and belly on The Turkey Burger. Packed with Tsziki sauce, fresh cucumbers, arugula and red onion. A Greek filled Food-gasm. This only could occur at Caesar’s. I paired that with fresh fruit instead of carbs. The menu is very creative with the staff’s High School photos embellished on the back and front. The service is impeccable with a seaside ambiance to match. I am currently tipsy as I write. Make this your 1st stop folks.
