I had this today and the food was great… The fish wasn’t greasy like some other places near by and the staff are always nice… Don’t do a call order they never answer. The location isn’t the best and it was hot inside… For a sec I thought I was the one cooking my own fish… The girl in the front was sweating so you know it was hot…

The food was good… I loved that it was a family owned business and Carl was a joy to talk to! If you want good homestyle seafood like mama makes it, THIS IS THE SPOT!!!

Man this is one of my favorite places to get fish! Its not a fancy smancy restaurant, but a step up from a hole in the wall joint. They are inexpensive, offer a variety of fish and sides. My go to is the whiting nugget combo, which comes with the nuggets, 2 hush puppies, 1 side and drink for $ 6.40 (with tax). They also have snacks (fish and hush puppies), family meals, desserts (the bean pie is my fav!) and salads.
I have been coming here since middle school and not much has changed. Which is a great thing! I just want the recipe for their fish fry and homemade tarter sauce. They are both mouth watering delicious and keeps me coming back.
The staff is always friendly, they may not know my name but they know what I order and they know I usually come in with my mom, daughter and brothers. They always ask about my family and go the extra mile to satisfy. This is the original location and the only one I visit.

They’re a little on the pricey side but it’s soooo worth it. So perfectly seasoned and moist. And they make you feel like you’re hanging out with the family. I normally get the six piece tilapia for the family. They don’t give you short, thin pieces either. They’re always huge and juicy. Area is crazy bad though. But, I mean, we all know Old Nat’s reputation.

Some of the best seafood for a reasonable price! Got to go try this place. The catfish and whiting are great!
