Came here to Atlanta from San Antonio, Texas. Had a taste for some good BBQ. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. Ordered 3 bone ribs with Mac and cheese and collard greens and a rib tip box. THERIBSANDRIBTIPSWEREOLDANDDRY. They had potential. The sauce was good. The greens weren’t seasoned and the Mac and cheese tasted like it came from a can. WILLNEVEREATHEREAGAIN. A WASTEOF $ 23.

ing for a soul food spot with good food & service, this is a good place to try. Many of the reviews I read on this place mainly said it was expensive which I can agree on some of the items(i.e Ribs) but mainly disagree based on what me and the group ordered. We were greeted by our host and seated in a private area which was most accommodating with the size of my group. The food was tasteful & seasoned based on the feedback I received from friends. The portion sizes are exactly what I expected from a soul food restaurant. There is this weird thing they do when ordering food. I asked for the 2 Whole Catfish and the order was repeat as a «Delicious» 2 Whole Catfish dinner which I’m like that is yet to be determined. They add«Delicious» to all the side orders as well. My partner orders the Fillet Catfish which was again seasoned well but had a few bones in it. The sweet tea is an understatement as it’s really sweet. Once I added half water, it was«Delicious» haha. Overall, good spot to visit as a tourist in Atlanta. Seems they are well supported by the locals & I’m embarrassed to say I was star struck today when I got to shake the hand of Mr. Marvin Sapp, I love love love his music.

I certainly always enjoy their food. Got the ribs this time and they were delicious. Never can go wrong with«This Is It».

I love this spot! The food is consistently the same. The rice is never mushy like the camp creek location and it’s well seasoned. Service is fairly quick and customer service is much better the other locations.

Stopping at this takeout restaurant was really not in my plans. But after a long day, my family was starving. I walked in to check this place out and was hooked on what i saw here. Southern dishes and BBQ that looked and smelled great. I still didn’t wanna order 5 meals to go that could have been a waste of money. So I orders one fried catfish platter and took it out to see what my family thought. Since they all were happy with what they tasted, I went back in and got everyone what they wanted. An order of catfish, an order of smoked BBQ wings, an order of rib tips, a kids meal for my four year old, and some red velvet cake that tasted like none that I’ve ever had before… Light and delicious… Glad that I stopped in here for an extremely late lunch… Will definitely stop in again when passing through town…
