Passports is no more. This restaurant in the D concourse is closed.

$ 6doller breakfast sandwich is a hamburger bun with cheese and egg, go to mc Donald’s half the price with meat. Large coffee is a small at others .next time I’ll walk 10 steps to five guys they serve breakfast.

Service was fine as long as I was the only one there. I was totally ignored once men began ordering more expensive drinks. A beer. I wanted to for offering a menu. Took me 5 minutes to get my bill after asking and she’s good right in front of me and then 10 minutes to get my to pay. She never even said thank you for acknowledging me I die after the bar filled with businessman ordering cocktails. The only reason I would ever go back my flight gate was close. Thankfully it was this time or I would have missed my flight.

Located between gates d3 and d5 in ATL airport. It has a private, quiet dining space with lots of windows that allow you to view the airplanes. The staff was friendly, but could have been faster. Good food. Extra points for using actual chicken meat in the chicken strips. My husband had the salmon and said it was decent. This is pretty good for airport food. It was better than paying $ 9 for fast food. I would have put 3.5 stars, but you can’t.

A lot of folks said this place was closing down, but it’s still up and running. I’ll start with the pros. I enjoyed sitting by a large window where I could watch the goings on of the airport runway. My waitress was pretty nice. My white wine was only $ 6.
The cons: Lots of reviewers said they liked the tortilla soup. Maybe I just got a bad batch, but I found nothing to be excited about. It tasted okay, and was $ 7.50 for a small cup that was only half full. The only reason I even stopped in, in the first place, was because I wanted to try the broccoli cheddar soup. After I sat down and ordered some wine, the waitress told me that they «actually don’t have that». I don’t know if she meant they were out of it, or if it doesn’t actually belong on the menu, but just in case… I wouldn’t recommend stopping in specifically for that.

Just ok… sorry. The wait staff is awesome. The food very average. I had a chicken sandwich and the tomato on it was tiny. The fries were good and fresh and hot!
I know its an airport restaurant but still you could have better quality food. My husband had a few drinks which he said were great!
It was close to the gate we needed… so, it was a nice place to chill. I think if I am traveling through the area again I would stop in for a drink and snack.

This place is A-​OK. Not great, but fine.
I went here on a recent flight to Atlanta. The thing this restaurant really has going for it (from my pespective, not necessarily theirs!) is that they are pretty far from security so you have to pass a bunch of gates to get to it. That’s how I found it. I went through security and all the other restaurants were crowded or had lines so I kept walking and found Passport which was only half full. I grabbed a round table and texted my co-​workers to join me.
Dinner was okay. We were on a tight timeframe and it seemed to take forever to get our food — half of us got salads so we didn’t really understand that. But the server was quick to get us our checks right away so we could leave as soon as we were finished eating.
My only complaint /​tip — the vegetarian salad is teeny tiny. It’s fairly inexpensive, but I’d expect that without any protein. Next time, I’d probably order a cobb salad and have them hold the meat. It was at least twice as large as mine which was more of a dinner salad. Not really any other healthy vegetarian options but I needed to eat something before my evening flight and this fit the bill. Service was friendly and it was a nice quiet place to pass the time before a flight.

Food and drink offerings are pedestrian. The upholstery could stand revitalizing. The service was warm and friendly, and that made all the difference.

5 stars for the waitress who was extremely nice and working her tail off! The rest of the experience was up and down.
First, the people next to me were complaining about the food and their order was wrong. The place is also a little worn out. Seats are gross, etc. I ordered coffee which was tiny and came in a styrofoam cup much like complimentary coffee in a hospital waiting room. Tasted the same, too. Watered down and not worth the $ 2.98 I paid (more than a grande iced coffee at SBUX)! All of the egg options for breakfast on the menu are scrambled. That was cause for concern. Seems like they have a bunch of egg substitute — kind of gross. I got the Cajun chicken salad instead.
With the salad, I was pleasantly surprised. Lettuce (romaine) was fresh, sauce and seasoning on the chicken was good and it was enough to hold me over. However, for $ 12.99 it should have been a little bigger.
Anyway, the salad was a mostly healthy choice and was actually tasty. Good service, however prices are WAY too high and there is a total lack of ambiance of any sort. Also the egg thing. Not sure what the other food is like…

Meh. Not very good. I know airport food is very tricky but I’ve actually had some decent meals. I stopped in here for a quick bite before a flight and was able to snag a table even though the place was pretty packed. The table was pretty dirty (i.e. needed to be cleaned and wiped down, even the seats).
Not much of a menu and service was incredibly slow throughout. Friendly but very slow. I went with the Cobb Salad with chicken. It was just decent. The funny part is that there were a ton of different ingredients but the chicken tasted slightly off. Not sure exactly how to describe it; just a little off.
I’m not so sure I’d be in a rush to get back here as I didn’t think it was very good. They do have a to-​go counter which I guess can be pretty convenient when you’re on the go. Overall, just OK but it’s airport food.

Decent food, quick service, reasonable prices. I had the turkey club. Turkey was moist, croissant was fresh. Not much else to say.
I mean, it’s an airport food joint, what does one expect?

Had a late lunch at Passport during a recent layover at ATL. Not a bad place at all.
The bartender I had (I wish I remembered his name so I could give him a plug here) was very friendly. I had Bud Light on tap, but they offer several local brews as well from what I remember. Food is decent… I had a double-​decker BLT with fries.
Passport is a little off the beaten path so it’s not as overcrowded as most of the eateries/​bars you’ll find at a major hub airport — I was able to find a seat at the bar as soon as I walked in. The only downside I can think of was that the piped-​in music was on the loud side.
Definitely a good option if you’re laying over in ATL concourse D for any length of time.

I overheard that this place is closing down. It looks like they’re getting ready to gut the place, which is fine, since the décor needs a makeover. There’s nothing relevant to passports or travel destinations happening here.
I sat at the bar and a friendly bartendress greeted me. She was quick to put in the food order and also walked back to the kitchen to check if lunch was ready. I thought this was great service, since I figured average bartenders would stay parked behind the bar.
Lunch was a standard bacon cheeseburger and fries. Good portion of fries and everything was just okay, although the quality of bacon and burger patty should be better for the menu price. Oh wait, this is the airport. I’ll echo another review’s mention of being heavy handed on the salt, but I can appreciate that seasoning is involved. Did this place used to be a TGI Friday’s or a Chili’s?

Dirty, gross food, but very good service. At this point airports are having to deliver better quality food through vendors and this place honestly was terrible from that stand point. Burgers were frozen and nothing looked fresh. Should have looked around more but i was tired.
Floors and tables needed to be scrubbed.

I had some time before my flight. Just enough time for a beer.
Friendly and lively staff. Quick service. Reasonably priced, $ 6 for Sweetwater draft.

Nice runway views. Very good looking bar!

My return flight was very delayed, so I visited the bar. It was called Passports. The staff was friendly. The bartender checked every ID and told everyone that he had, too. Some were elderly.
I went with a beer. I had a Yeungling and a local Atlanta beer, called Sweet Water.
It wasn’t sweet, thankfully! It had a nice full flavor. I would drink it again.
If you’re ever stuck in the airport, this place is pretty good.

Considering it is airport dining, the place was OK. The beer was cold and the wings were adequate. What else can you expect in what is essentially a bar while waiting for a connection. A lot of noise and TVs blaring.

At first, I was under the impression that airport food was mediocre but after spending my afternoon here fort lunch proved different! My boyfriend and I were waiting for our flight and we had about 2 hours of time to kill so we kept walking back and forth through the food aisle wondering what was best to try out and since we had time to kill, we wanted to sit in at a restaurant and enjoy our meals. We passed a couple sit-​in restaurants and the only menu that peeked our interests was Passport Bar, plus when we sat in, they were barely packed or had much business.
We sat ourselves and didn’t have to wait long to place our orders. Our waitress was a very nice young lady and she took really good care of us. She asked us what time our flight was and wanted to make sure we got our food on time and were not rushed while eating which I thought was very sweet of her on her part to be at least considerate.
We stayed away from any fried food and alcohol. We shared a large entrée; a medium-​rare steak with veggies on the side and it was delicious! At first, the appearance looked mediocre and I didn’t think any of the food was going to be spectacular but as soon as I took a bite, my point of view changed! Despite the low ratings I have seen from other Unilocalers about this place, I think it is probably a hit and miss but overall, my boyfriend and I enjoyed this place.

On layover in terminal D, at first glance Passports seems like a good option. RUN, don’t walk away from it!
We should have left right away when we were seated at a dirty table. Then I was served a glass of wine with lipstick on the rim. The table next to us had an unidentifiable floater in his tea.
The «fish and chips» are freezer patties that taste extremely fishy. Don’t order it. I ordered chicken strips which were your average fast food, extra crispy strips. The fries that came with both of our meals were beyond cold. They didn’t have ANY heat at all on them. It seemed from the texture that they were at least a couple hours old and someone was too lazy to fry a new batch. This place is robbing us at more than $ 12 a plate. I guess they bank on the fact that they don’t depend on repeat business since they are located in the airport. Go to Chic-​fil-​a and get a decent meal!
