Decent service, decent food, decent prices. I was kind of annoyed that my $ 5 coupon couldn’t be used because I left it at home which was 30 – 40 mins away. The waitress knew I was telling the truth about the coupon because she had been taking them all day, she claimed she needed some coupon code. Ok, if you were taking them all day I’m sure it’s the same code on all of them because it came as a advertisement in the mail. Oh well fine whatever. That kind of soured me because if I was her I would see what I could do to appease my customer, you know go slightly above my job description. She didn’t **scoffs** that’s why I’m giving 3 out of 5 stars. No complaints on the food, it’s typical of what you would expect of outback. Another reason I’m giving 3 out of 5 stars is it really pisses me off when someone adds water to the A-1 bottle to stretch it out 0_o that’s cheap and disgusting! If you can’t afford giving decent bottles of A-1 don’t offer it all. I ordered the ahi tuna, that was kind of bland but edible. Will I come back? possibly if I’m in the neighborhood.

This outback was the closest one to my temporary location so I decided to go there and not any of my usual locations which were much farther away. I have been to many outback restaurants in the US and PR but this one is by far my worst experience with this chain. I went to pick up a curb side order over $ 100.00 on this rainy Friday night. I pulled up to the curbside location directly behind a vehicle that was being served. The server finished with that person and went back inside without a glance or any acknowledgement to me. At first I wondered if I was in the right place and rechecked the GPS. I waited for a few more minutes and noticed another car coming into the area. The server came out immediately with a bag and placed it in his vehicle and went back inside again without a single glance in my direction. I waited for a few more minutes and then called the restaurant because there was no movement in the area. The server answered the phone and replied; «I am bagging your food now» in response to my inquiry about my order. The food came out looking like it was thrown in the bag and about to spill over the top. She placed the bag in the car and left with the card to returned promptly. I attempted to rearrange items in the bag to secure them better and noticed that several items were cold. I mean the bread felt really cold and I noticed that several other containers were cold immediately out the store. I told the server to replace the bread because it was unacceptable. Instead, she threw it back into my car and left. I called her on the phone to tell her I was waiting for my replacement and would not leave until I got it. She hung up and came out with another bad which she put into my car. This is the worst experience I have ever had at an Outback restaurant and I would not return to that one if you paid me. I can’t comment on the inside but given my negative experience on the outside, I shutter to think what happens when they have you captive. Save yourself and drive to another Outback location!

About once a year my regularly healthy eating habits go out the window and I cave to my craving for Outback cheese fries. These things are so bad for you and so worth it every once and awhile. The need for cheese fries came over me whilst I was at home being lame watching Dateline on a Friday night. What better way to indulge in your lameness than by adding fatty fries to the mix? The best part about Outback is that you can order online. When I’m getting delivery or takeout, I only do it from places where I can order online without talking to a person. I think it’s the fact that you can type in all sorts of special requests that you wouldn’t have the nerve to ask ordinarily. In this case, I opted for the Junior Ribs off the kids menu. Sure it’s reserved for«Joeys» under 10, but who am I to say no to a kids portion of ribs, a loaded baked potato, and a Diet Coke all for $ 7.29. I placed my order online and received an email confirmation that my cheese fries and kids dinner would be ready for curbside pickup in 15 minutes. 15 minutes later and I arrived at the curbside pickup. I will say it took at least 3 – 4 minutes for the curbside waitress to even walk out to my car. I might have even gone in to pick up my food except I was wearing pajamas and no makeup so I sat and waited. Eventually she showed up with my bill and my bag of food. I drove home with my small feast of greasy goodness to chow down. Cheese fries, mini rack of ribs, loaded baked potato, and complimentary bread, yes please! It’s probably so good because there is so much butter and grease soaking the food. Whatever. Everything about this meal satisfied my cheese fry craving until 2015. All and all, Outback is nothing to write home about, but when you’re feeling a fat Friday every once and awhile, you really can’t go wrong with this chain restaurant. I can’t even tell you the last time I ate at an Outback, but I can confidently say I’m a fan out curbside pickup when craving what is probably the world’s most unhealthy appetizer.

One of the better tasting Outbacks in the area. I’ve visited here a few times, and the food has always been delicious, well-flavored, and hot, and we’ve always gotten good service. Definitely recommended over other nearby locations.

My cousin wanted to come here for her birthday so four if us had dinner. The food was very good like The Outback tends to be but the real star was our server. I can’t remember his name but he was super attentive and extremely helpful.

I don’t eat at chain restaurants regularly but I had a gift card to use and have had great experiences at this Outback in the past. I visited on a Friday around 7 pm and man was I glad I made a reservation! Me and my boyfriend were seated immediately in a roomy corner booth. The noise level was moderate and the music was calm and relaxing. The décor was what you’d expect — Australian and New Zealand flags, boomerangs, and wooden siding(pretty standard fare). Since it was a Friday during Lent, I was interested to see what kinds of seafood options they carried and was glad to get out of my «same thing that I always get routine.» It was the perfect time to do so as their new seafood promotion had just come out. Our server was very attentive and welcoming and was able to walk us through all of the new choices for their promotion. We decided to try the shrimp and lobster bites with sweet chili sauce. It was delicious! They were big bites and a generous portion — definitely something I would order again. I went with the Pacific Rim Salmon and Shrimp as my entrée which came with the choice of one side(I chose the broccoli). It was plated nicely and was very fresh. It had a teriyaki glaze and citrus butter topping which really gave it a nice touch. I wasn’t as pleased with my broccoli however — they were large florets that were mushy and overcooked. Overall, I was glad to be able to try something outside of my usual for a reasonable price. Not somewhere I’ll regularly visit but glad to know it’s a tasty option for when I have a gift card or need some steak in a pinch.

I come here to visit the bartender Gina. She is amazing and even though my significant other and I only go every few months they have this strawberry red bull drink that’s virgin we love and when she sees us coming I feel like she is genuinely excited to see us and she brings our drink without us asking for it! Speaking of it’s time to go back because she wasn’t ere this last time.

We were lucky to get a coupon for a free entrée(up to $ 10.99) in the mail for this Outback location. Despite the fact my hubby and I have lived off Roswell Road for several years now, we’d never been to this location. So on a Saturday night we scooted down to Buckhead for a little down under dinner. It was about a 10 – 15 minute wait when we showed up, so we opted to grab some drinks at the bar. Two 22 oz. Sweetwater 420 drafts set us back $ 15 with tax-and-tip. We were seated after a few sips, and both chose the Outback special which includes a steak, salad and side item. Our server was perky and attentive(what more could y’all ask for?) however she did mix up my husband’s order when he asked for fries with his steak he got rice. Also my «medium» steak must have been under the heating lamp for awhile because it was a bit dry and not piping fresh-off the grill hot when it was served. I loved my dressed baked potato and ate every buttery bit. Funny enough, with the coupon, our dinner cost as much as our drinks. I can’t say I would go back without a coupon, but I did enjoy my experience. The staff here was great, from the hostess, to the bartender, server and even the guy running our food. As far as experiences at Outback go, I’m a fan of this one!

Not the best steak it was rare rare and it had a huge strip of fat going right threw it. My soon also wasn’t the biggest fan. It took really long for an outback. o well. Went to the store and got other food.

I hadn’t eaten at an Outback since the 90s until I recently met a friend for dinner at this Buckhead location. Outback Buckhead is located on Roswell Rd. in the Buckhead Court shopping center, a short drive north of the Powers Ferry Rd. and Piedmont Rd. intersections. Outback is an international chain of Australian-themed steakhouses. Inside, the restaurant was worn, but clean. It felt very much like a chain with its generic/formulaic wooden bar and multitude of booths. Atmosphere was dimly lit and casual. I was surprised to see most of their steaks priced under $ 20. As a kid, I didn’t realize this was an economical steakhouse. I always remembered the Bloomin’ Onion($ 6.99) and we ordered one for old time’s sake. Outback has a variety of steaks, other meats(chicken, pork, lamb), and seafood(salmon, tuna, mahi-mahi, tilapia, lobster) in addition to soups, salads, and burgers. Most of the meat and seafood entrees are between $ 13 – 20. If you order a steak, the restaurant gives you the option of having it either(a) seasoned & seared or(b) oak wood-fire grilled. Having the steak seasoned & seared tastes better, but it’s also unhealthier. The steaks are cooked on a flat-surfaced griddle, seasoned and heavily coated in butter. The grilled option is new and healthier. The menu recommends either searing or grilling depending on the type of steak you order. Of course, you don’t have to follow what it says. I ordered a 12-ounce«Outback Special»($ 16.99), which was a sirloin steak. I requested it to be cooked medium and prepared the classic way on the griddle. I’m no steak aficionado, but I thought the sirloin was pretty good. Rich(probably from all the butter), hearty, and tender enough. I’m guessing the cut was bottom sirloin, but I don’t know for sure. Steaks come with a side order of soup or salad plus one side. I had a Caesar side salad with garlic mashed potatoes. While not very memorable, the salad was fresh and crisp and the mashed potatoes were flavorful. As for the Bloomin’ Onion, it was tasty, but I could only eat so much of it before feeling sick from all the grease and fat. For those of you that don’t know, a Bloomin’ Onion is essentially a large order of onion rings, except the onion is cut, fried, and presented differently — it looks like a blooming flower. It comes with a special mayonnaise/cream-based sauce. I’d say one order is good for 3 – 4 people. Meals at Outback also come with special bread and butter. The bread is a honey wheat Bushman bread. The butter is soft and sweet. As is tradition, the bread is served on a wooden cutting board with the knife stabbed into the center of the roll. Needless to say, with all this red meat, grease, fat, and carbs, Outback isn’t one of America’s healthiest dining-out options. Excellent service. The restaurant also offers curbside service to-go.

If your in the mood for a quick steak and a loaded potato maybe a beer or two and a laid back attitude this is your place. Over the last few years Outbacks menu has grown larger and includes enough Seafood, Steaks, Lamb chops and desserts to make anyone happy. I have to pass by Outback twice a day and sometimes find myself craving a piece of red meat. They have finally added crab legs to the menu and that is all I needed to hear this visit to make me happy. Recent specials — Add a half pound of Crab legs to any entrée $ 7.95. 6 oz. sirloin and ½lb. Crab $ 13.95 needed a larger steak they have it on the menu. Crab and Advacado appetizer — Is three layers starting with fresh guacamole, then topped off with a decent layer of crab meat then topped again with a tomato concoction I got the dressing on the side. Glad I did, didn’t care for the sauce but enjoyed the appetizer it comes with warm tortilla chips.

Five stars! Mostly due to the exceptional service by our waitress Sara. She was super sweet, precise, attentive yet not overbearing, and never let our beverages hit bottom. Honestly the BEST waitress I’ve ever come across by far. We were attended to right away. The food was also delicious. That fresh, warm bread is such a comforting thing to start off with. I also tried the soup of the day, chicken tortilla, as recommended by Sara. It was quite different from any soup I’ve had before, with a unique blend of spices and a creamy texture. I did enjoy it. Then came the entrees. I chose the pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes and green beans, while my husband opted for the chicken on the barbie, which came with fresh veggies. Both meals were delightful, and brought out hot in a very timely manner. All in all, the experience was relaxing, comforting and enjoyable. If we ever take another trip to Atlanta, we will be stopping here.

Outback isn’t going to blow your mind. It certainly isn’t the best steakhouse around. But it’s cheap(for steak), consistent, and generally good food. I tend to order the Outback Special steak, which comes with a salad and two sides for less than $ 15. You can’t beat that price for a steakhouse. The bread is hot and good with some butter slathered on. The blooming onion is probably super-unhealthy but I just can’t resist it on the rare occasions when I dine here. Definitely not going to be my steakhouse of choice for a special occasion, but when I get a craving for a reasonably priced steak on a random night — this is the place to hit the spot.

The is the first time I’ve been to this Outback location. And, I come here with bad past experiences at another Outback. The dinning room was so dark you could not see the faces of the other guest two tables away. Kinda creapy. We ordered the blooming onion and after an extended wait the server came back and said that another server had taken her onion and apoligized for the delay. It finally came out and was ok but was overly greasy. I ordered the Mahi with baked sweet potato. I loved the potato and fish.

The menu lacks a bit of variety… Typically, most casual dining places offer you so many options while this menu was just OK. After a busy day of driving and looking for something familiar yet good, we happened upon Outback. As hungry as I was, I was definitely happy too see that there wasn’t a wait(although it was a Saturday night). Our server had a certain way of words which made us ‘smile’ throughout our visit. He seemed a bit hesitant to answer our questions, regardless of how big or small they were, but alas… he did good. Check it out, nothing great unfortunately…

Back in the day Outback use to be the place to go, but now there are too many other choices out on the market and Outback in general just hasn’t kept up the game. Seems like they are becoming some what like Olive Garden or Red Lobster; you know they take a good steak and fill it will crap, making it into crap. This location of Outback has mixed reviews for me. Sometimes the service here has been great, other times it has lacked. This past weekend I had to meet friends there twice, Friday and Sunday, for dinner. The Friday night service was good, but the girl was way too attentive and it was annoying the hell out of me. Sunday night’s service was great, we sat at the bar the bartender made sure to take great care of us without being over the top. Food at this Outback is ok at most, not really all that great. I’ve had quite a few dishes on the menu, but so far about the best thing I’ve found is the French Onion soup. It would be mighty hard for them to mess that up. I ordered a Filet sandwich Friday night and it was bland and fatty, first time I’ve ever heard of Filet being so fatty and not melting in my mouth. Since this Outback is located so close to home, I am sure I’ll be going back again. Mainly to have a few brews and some soup once the weather is a little cooler.

I used to LOVE Outback! When I still lived with my parents as a child we used to go all the time! That was because it was something different and it was affordable. Now it is overpriced and they keep taking the best items off the menu and adding more expensive seafood. Service has always been ok. I think they could be a little more cheery. I am now married and we live in Marietta and«sometimes» we’ll make the trip just because were craving one of their dishes. I usually always order the Alice Springs Chicken and fries with a side salad. And my husband always orders the Toowomba Pasta. We simply go because there is no way I think I could ever make it this good at home. Recently the prices have gone up way too much. If I want to pay $ 15.00 for a meal, I might as well go to a much nicer restaurant and have a much better steak. Have ordered there steaks before, and they are good, I just have had better. No we have to add this place as an every now and then instead of every other weekend… :(

really a 2.5 star rating but i rounded up. It’s an outback. They’re ok to go to when you’re wanting something tried and true. This one was towards the bottom rung of outbacks I’ve been to. I went as part of a party of 4 and we all pretty much agreed that the food was rather bland. Their lunch prices were very fair, however. Service was adequate but not extraordinary and the atmosphere was what you would expect for a Tuesday lunch crowd. I would like to point out that we were there at the same time as a senior home and it was apparent that the two«handlers», for lack of a better term, seemed to have lost one of their seniors and they were frantically searching the restaurant and nearby area lol. Anyways, i’m sure i’ll end up going back here b/c it’s close to work and a decent lunch destination, but it wont be at the top of my list. Buckhead has a lot more(and better) to offer.

I live on the south end of town, where there is no Outback, so we come to this one every few months. Here, it never seems to be very crowded. I think the Buckhead Betties won’t lower themselves to eat at the Outback, but I happen to love it. My wife and I dine there whenever we want to go somewhere clean and quiet and reasonably priced. Chain-smain. I wish they would open one near my house. I eat the burgers and steaks and ribs and what not, but usually by the time those come out, I am already full on the cheese-bacon fries, bread and clam chowder. mmmmm. Oh, did I mention $ 2 draft beer? Also, the service is usually good here, and very friendly. Sure, there are lots of better places to get a steak, but you will pay more too, and might not have as much fun. Walkabout and support your local Outback before its too late! Tribute Haiku: bloomin walkabout cheesy bacon bits on fries meat, potatoes, too

Ever met a girl that you know you could be happy with, beautiful, intelligent, great personality, etc? A girl you dream of? Well, Outback is like her uglier, not so intelligent, sort of bland personality sister. Since I don’t eat a steak every night, or every week for that matter because I don’t want to be 300lbs, I want it to be great when I do eat it. I blew it here, taking the not so great sister, just because it was more convenient. I should have known better, and ruined my chance for bliss. It’s not that Outback is horrible, it’s just not fantastic. My steak, the NY strip, was very lacking in any flavor. I had to salt and pepper it to death, and also add a little Heinz 57, which is just sacrilege in my opinion. Also, I had a pint of some local brew… or TRIED to have a pint of it, since the 2 glasses they brought hadn’t been rinsed properly and still had soap on them. For the price, I expect better. Maybe this was just a bad experience, just a bad night for them, but I will never know, since I am not going back. Next time, I will not settle.
