I have ordered food from them twice from Caviar. It has always been nice and hot, which is great. I’ve tried the chicken and waffles, which was pretty good. It was like a breakfast corn dog. I’d recommend splitting it because I could not take down 3 of those babies. In fact, 3 of us ordered the same thing and we could have easily split the order. Today, I ordered the gumbo again since it was forgotten on the first order. By «holy trinity,» I assumed that they meant bell pepper, onion, and celery. It was more like, «Daddy, Jesus, and The Spook! There’s a lot of salt in here!» I’m really in the middle here. Maybe 3rd times a charm?

The bartender, Monte is the best person you will ever meet. And if you are lucky enough to meet chef Michelle, you can talk to her all day about New Orleans. But don’t leave the spot without trying the gumbo… It will ! Ask Monte for a «that time of the month». It’s delicious and he’ll take care of you. Spots like this make me wish I hadn’t left ATL.

The brisket sandwich was incredible! Seriously mouthwatering and a larger serving(enough for two people). They have karaōke and an open air set up. Not much seating so you may have to wait. They have excellent Sunday brunch too! Definitely a must.

Awesome meal, ambience, food and the customer service is the best Atlanta has to offer… The park like setting is truly impressive…

I’m new to the neighborhood and G’s is within walking distance. I stumbled upon this gem recently. This place has great food and a great beer selection. If you have a bad day, come here grab a drink,(hopefully«Princess» Charles will be your server). He is so friendly and knows how to turn a frown upside down. I highly recommend the zodiac drinks and the creamy tomato bisque. 2 thumbs and 2 big toes up!

It’s a tiny place but the food is great, the drinks are great… and this place is home to Atlanta’s best bartender — Max! ‘Nuff said! Love coming here!

Food is great, atmosphere is great, service is great. You’ll be lucky if you get Charles as a waiter! If you’re in Midtown, you have to stop by. Get the chicken & waffles!

Charles is life. Bloodies are strong and chicken and waffles are like fair food in a good way. Making the straight dudes dragged by their gfs is great fun too lol

5 stars for the cocktails, 2 stars for the food. The mac & cheese was a devastation. Pimento chicken flatbread was ok, as were the short rib rolls. The cocktails were delicious though! Love the open air seating too. Makes it feel like you’re outside even when you’re inside.

Very poor service, slow, waiter had to ask order twice, food still came out wrong! Really loud music with racial slurs ruined ambience

Amazing experiences here! As a former resident, but now visitor to Atlanta, this place made me remember why I loved this town. Happy people, great food, good vibes. If you’re looking for a totally great time with some people who legitimately want to make sure your experience is amazing, this is the place! I will definitely be coming back.

Games, a real happy hour menu, and drinks — how can you go wrong? G’s Midtown and its sister restaurant, 10th and Piedmont, are a fun place for after work happy hour in the Midtown area. The happy hour menu offers lamb sliders, fish tacos, chicken & mushroom ravioli, a bacon cheeseburger, and a smoked turkey melt. Impressive selection for a happy hour menu, not to mention that everything here is half off. There is a decent selection of beers as well. I ate the smoked turkey melt for dinner. The sandwich was filling and garnished with arugula, pickled red onions, and a tasty cranberry barbecue sauce. In addition, the sandwich comes with a serving of truffle chips. They’re steak fries flavored with truffle oil. My group tried a few of my fries. We ended up ordering a separate order of truffle chips because they became so popular. Service was great. On a nice day, the windows are open. The dining area was still dark, but it was nice to get a breeze. Several shelves of games are at the back of the restaurant, which included dominoes, Apples to Apples, Wits and Wagers, and Cards Against Humanity. The games are definitely a nice bonus to this happy hour — Monday — Friday starting at 5.

Fantastic bartenders and staff. Warm and welcoming. Food so good! We happened to be here for karaōke night. Did not know you needed to tip the karaōke lady to sing a song. So disappointing after the rest of such a great experience. perhaps«pre-tipping» should be in the rules here. I would not recommend this place because the f-Ed up DJ over powers the rest of what is so great. Bummer

Oh my gosh… this place was great! We went because we had a scoutmob deal, but will be back for sure! The chicken and waffles were SO good and the adult milkshakes are amazing. We had the elvis shake, chicken and waffles, and a lamb burger. Everything was great and the surface was good too :)

Came here for the first time this past Friday night. They have a special food happy hour menu from 5−7pm Monday through Friday. You have to ask them for the separate menu. I tried the following off the HH menu: smoked salmon mousse, lamb sliders, and chicken and mushroom ravioli. The ravioli was by far my favorite; very creamy and flavorful. The smoked salmon mousse was okay, not something I would get again. Also tried their cranberry manhattan cocktail which I wasn’t a fan of. The taste was a little too bitter and strong. Overall, the food was good and I’d come back again!

We were bar hopping and this was our 3rd stop of the day. It took a few extra minutes before we got our menus, but after that the service was very good, quick, and friendly. It’s a gay bar/restaurant. However, the clientele was very mixed. We did try their loaded potato rounds, which was listed as a small plate. The potatoes were topped with cheddar cheese, blue cheese, and bacon. The dipping sauce was a jalapeño sour cream sauce. They were good. I loved the toppings, but I’d rather have just regular fries. The drinks were inexpensive and strong. My final comment is on the music. They were choosing an artist and then playing multiple songs by the artist. I love Britney Spears, and coincidentally, they played about 7 songs in a row by her.

I haven’t been to G’s for dinner, but it’s a solid brunch spot if your main objective is to swim in a pool of bottomless mimosas for $ 16.95. Their drinks are good but they don’t skimp on the alcohol. Their Bloody Mary Brunch in a Jar is bloody amazing, meant to serve three, and comes with a 10P chicken n waffle on a skewer. For food items, I’ve had the chicken n waffles(full serving), which was obviously good. Other menu items weren’t particularly memorable, although my friend did order the Country Fried Chicken and Biscuit Plate, which caused immediate food envy. I didn’t hear great reviews about the Stuffed French Toast – apparently parts of it weren’t fully cooked. Negative one star. Ok food but a favorite spot for bottomless mimosas!

I stumbled into this place while in Atlanta for a conference. What a find! It was delicious and totally reasonably priced with a great ambiance and fun specials. I had the. best. burger of my life. Damn, it was perfect — two double thin super-juicy patties, bleu cheese and an egg. My friend had the peanut butter banana sandwich and was also quite pleased. I mean, y’all — adult milkshakes! Highest recommend I can give. Oh, yeah, and the service was stellar. Michael was fabulous and the very chill manager stopped by to check on us even though it was packed. #love

Ordered steak Mac and cheese and bbq pork ribs. Perfect amount of food, and delicious, too. Lacks the wow factor to push it to 5 stars.
