Really enjoyed my time here. I paid a $ 20 coverage charge. The club is indoor & outdoor. With the white couches everywhere so you can sot down and still turn up. The music was loud & I enjoyed the DJ. The bartenders were friendly and attractive. The crowd was live as well. I’d definitely go back.

Best place to party when its warm. Dress to impress. You will be glad you did! Pricey but worth it. Various partying atmospheres. Get there early and enjoy a fast line and your choice of comfort zones(unless you VIP). Although, all parts of the venue aren’t open all the time. Not a good beer selection. Great venue security. Unless you live in the area, pay for secure parking.

I came here as a tourist from the nj/philly area and this is the best club I have ever been to! Mind you I’m only 26 and I’m only comparing it to the clubs in my region. This place is better than every night club in philly and atlantic city if you love hip-hop. I came with my best friend who has actually partied in Vegas and she said Compound was better than the Vegas clubs. The DJ was great, none of our drinks cost more than $ 10, the layout of the club is perfect. They have a main dance room, then another room where the music is still blasting but it’s more loungey. Then an outside lounge area where it’s a little quieter so you can chill and talk. The place is huge, thats why it’s called compound. The AC is strong so you can dance all night without sweating too much. I believe general admission is $ 20 and to skip the line was $ 60. This place is worth it though!

Great spot… Cool vibes, good Dj fun time! Check it out if your visiting ATL. Dress code grown and sexy, people were cool drinks were pricey but that’s to be expected.

The WORSTVIPEXPERIENCEINMYLIFE! I will not return to this establishment nor would I recommend ANYONE to waste their time, money, or effort. We had a party of 10 out of town VIP guests on the night where Lil Wayne performed, When a business knowingly knew their credit card authorization system was down, 4 days before the event, YOU, the business is at fault. We were told numerous times by 2 different people in person the day of the event and also via phones calls and emails that our Vip was held. We tried once again apply payment the day of the event early afternoon because we didnt want any issues later that night, but was told we can pay when arrive that night. This business should take responsibility and fix the issue not push blame on the consumer! All they see is GREENDOLLARBILLS, forget how your treated and being lied to. No apology was given by management or the so called VIP consultant. NEVERAGAIN.

Worst experience. They hold the line for absolutely no reason as if their club is the best. Inside is mediocre. Never going again.

Compound is my go-to hip hop club because I know that I’m gonna have a good time but the crowd just isn’t upscale at all. Compound usually has a performer n hosts good events. Always a line so get here early n prices are reasonable for us women. Great music, strong drinks and nice space!

I gave Compound a 3 because they do provide great entertainment. I enjoyed seeing Chris Brown, Trey Songz listening party, and Jeezy and Rick Ross. The club itself is a horrible setup. Clearly just about profit, not the customer. It’s a fairly large club with too many VIP sections. VIP seats in the middle of where the dance floor should be. With that being said, you are either pushed, smushed, and grinded on all night or shoved by security with lights in your face. I don’t buy drinks here cause they are overpriced. Oh, and you get the pleasure of standing in line 1 — 2 hours if you rsvp or plan on paying $ 20. Parking is severely pricey. Just park 5 blocks away for free. I don’t know about anyone else but I don’t pay to play. I’m definitely not breaking my pockets to appear«important» for one night. One more important thing. If you rsvp and have been standing in line for a few hours but do not get to the front by 12 your rsvp is worthless. You will have to pay $ 20. If they reach their $ 20 quota for the night, you are then charged $ 40.

This is a sexy nightclub! There are plenty of bars and plenty of space. I want to give it 5 stars but just cannot seem to do it. I don’t club enough to really know a five star club. This is a big one though with what I believe to be 3 buildings all connected somehow. Lines can be long unless your dropping dollars for VIP. VIP is like 1⁄3 of the entire clubs size so get in if you fit in. It can get extremely crowded on certain nights. This is major celebrity hangout spot. Bottled water(Fiji) is $ 5. Drinks run from $ 9+. It is indoor/outdoor. There are 6 bars from my count so those lines are not bad. Not much else to say here. If you really want to go out and be amongst the in crowd, Compound has a long lasting rep in Atlanta just for that. FYI: Parking is pricey! Best to find some on the street @ no charge.

I went to Compound, for a special event and the only reason I would go. It appears regardless of what night it is, they like to hold the line. I gather this because I have friends on the outside saying the line is long, while me on the inside is looking at tons of space to let people in. The place is huge with an outdoor and indoor section which is really cool. They have a bunch of bars all over the place. The bathroom is large so even with it being crowded I got a stall quickly. Parking in the area sucks. They block off adjacent streets and charge people to park on the street. Yea. That. Happens. Its a club, your experience will vary on the night.

Came here on a Saturday night. I arrived around 12 and several people were standing around. There were two lines upon my arrival, the $ 20 line and the $ 40 line. Being the cheap person I am, I gladly jumped on the $ 20 line. I was on line for about 5 minutes. After being checked 3 different times and feeling violated during the frisk by the female security guard, I paid my way and entered Compound. Compound is very spacious with a lot of seating. I did not venture off too far from the entrance because the further in I went the hotter it became. I took a star off because there were several people there in regular clothing as if they went to McDonald’s and then decided to party. I don’t drink but my friend with me said the drinks were good and reasonably priced. The music was descent and my overall experience was too.

Great place to party on a Saturday night. My friend and I had VIP and valet parking, so there was no waiting for us at all. The inside of the venue is really nice with plenty of seating, three bar areas, and adequate amount of dancing space. We truly enjoyed ourselves AND the hookah! I would definitely recommend and return to this establishment!

I love this place on Halloween. So much space, bars everywhere, different music anywhere you walk. Inside and outside. I just love it. EXCEPT the restroom situation is a mess. They need more restrooms!

The Compound is one of the first clubs that I visited when I moved to Atlanta. It’s very grown and sexy, the music is great and I always have a great time. You have to get here early or you will be standing in line. Ladies, if you bring flips flops they will make you throw them in a box before entering. I wore a pair of flops the weekend of the BET Hip Hop Awards… they took them at the door and I picked them up when I left the club. I knew the line would be long and I refused to stand in 4 inch heels for an hour. BAM! They wasn’t ready! LOL!

As far as clubs in ATL go, this ranks pretty low. The line for the only bathroom is ridiculously long. Also, we went on New Year’s Eve and they just DON’T do coat check that night? it really wasn’t much fun holding our coats the entire time(after waiting outside forever just to get in) To make matters worse, we were standing under the only net of balloons that didn’t release at midnight but rather 20 minutes later after everyone gave up staring at them in anticipation(it’s kind of amusing now, sigh) The music wasn’t all that great, and I didn’t really have a good time. I’d rather go to Cosmo or even Tongue & Groove instead!

I really don’t know what to say about my experience at Compound. Everything that I didn’t expect to happen happened. It was one of the weirder moments of my trip to ATL, but here goes… I was forewarned by photos of Compound to pretty much get here early. Not only that due to regular business, but due to the fact that Diddy was going to be there. You would figure that 10:30 would be a good time to get here right? Nah, not even close. Total wait in line: 2 hours. No bull… Chris Brown. Yeah, there was a cut line, and it was $ 40. I don’t know if this was the regular price or higher due to Diddy being there, but I didn’t need to cut the line that bad. NOTE: If you have a pass from a promoter for free admission, make sure to have the email on your phone verifying that the pass was sent directly to you. Yes, I actually had to have this in order to use the pass. If not, it would’ve been $ 20. Oh yeah, and make sure the pass is not folded up or they won’t accept it. After finally getting in, me and the crew pretty much had a good time. The music on both dance floors was pumping, beautiful women everywhere, and we were all enjoying ourselves. On the main floor(second dance floor, bottom level), it was packed like a can of sardines. I couldn’t move without throwing having to throw some ‘bows around, and it was like that all night. Even at 3 am. Found out that smoking is allowed in this club as well. I guess that’s regular in many ATL clubs. Not my cup of tea though. The bouncers were pretty much on point, no complaints there. They did their job without being off the wall aggressive, even when Diddy showed up. Overall, the crew had fun, barring the hiccups in the beginning. I would have to come here again when there’s not a big hoopla about a celebrity being there.
