Halo is an upscale ultra-lounge. I’ve been a few times and I enjoyed all experiences. All occasions were on Saturday. Parking is meters or valet. Unlike other nightlife venues in Atlanta, it’s not expensive for entry. Usually, females are $ 10, I believe guys are also $ 10 before a certain time, extra if wearing a hat. Most recently, I got on the guest list for a free birthday section through a promoter. It wasn’t the best area for a section(downstairs near walkway to restrooms) but my crew had somewhere to sit. The free birthday sections are first come, first serve and with my crew being late, I got the last option. There’s also limited seating upstairs and downstairs as well. The dance floor is not huge and located upstairs. The reasons I love it here are the music and drinks! Music is current hip-hop, drinks are strong! The hookah is decent for $ 25; I’ve gotten hookah two times I’ve been there and the first time there was too much water and water was back flowing and coming up the pipe when I inhaled, fixable problem nonetheless. People come here dressed nicely! At some point, go upstairs and view the projector on the wall, there’s interesting showings!

I had a great time here. Came here on a random Tuesday night and loved it. A friend and I were visiting from out of town, we heard this was the place to go. So glad we did! Great music and cool crowd. I loved that I was able to buy a hookah and smoke it at any of the available tables. Added bonus! A bit ratchet but I do it for the ratchets so I had no issue here. Fun place though! Can’t wait until I can come back again!

Came here to celebrate a friends birthday. We had bottle service and hookah which was reasonably priced. When we got there it wasn’t very crowded but the music was good or maybe we were just drinking too much. More people did trickle in throughout the night, however, not so much that you couldn’t dance and feel the AC. We had a good time and most importantly the birthday girl enjoyed herself.

Didn’t Ike it all It’s a younger crowd Went on a Tuesday night it was not good $ 20 to get in(r u serious) the place was small. No where to really park. They hijack some parking spacing off the street to make it VIP, r u 4real. They had the lame VIP section for no reason. No dance space at all. Music supa loud. I would probably never go back. Seems like the younger folks was enjoying it but not I.

Went on a Tuesday Night & I enjoyed myself. $ 20 cover charge, street parking=free. 2 bars, it was crowed for a Tuesday but in had room to move around and have a good time. They played all the jams from Future, Gucci, to Jezzy! CONS: here’s no place to sit, smoked out, you might miss it because its ducked off on the side of the Biltmore so drive slow because I circled the block like 5x lol

1 start for the cool L.E.D. light board they have. Went on a Saturday around 11 and cant say that I was impressed. It was a nice set up but the staff absolutely sucks. From security to the cashier, bartender, and even manager. I will never return! Sat upstairs in front of a bartender for 15 minutes and was never greeted. She was too busy texting and looking at Instagram. So a friend decided to approach her and order drinks. Maybe she was a server filling in for the real bartender because she could not make a basic lemon drop shot and the vodka used was gross. There is limited seating and tons of sections. So I stopped a waitress to ask the prices of a section, she then sent the manager to me who told me a section when its dead starts at $ 650, I couldnt help but laugh. My group made up half the people there and Halo was just our 1st stop. I told him I was not interested in bottle service and we only wanted to sit for an hour. I’d give him $ 300. He seemed confused so I sent him on his merry way. That just did not make good sense. Your club is empty and you have 5 people who want to sit for an hour and pay you $ 300…Take the $ 300, duh. It really wasnt about the money because I’ve paid $ 3000 for a section before because it was crouded and celebrities were in the building but this place was just all around wack. I believe this place is AG Entertainment operated which I should’ve know what to expect from the beginning. Overly priced, POOR service.

I love Halo! I’ve been on Tuesday nights and it’s always a blast. You can either valet your car or find parking on the street. There was a $ 10 cover charge. The place is filled with mostly people in their late 20s and early 30s. The club has a small dance floor that is above the bar area and the DJ plays great music, from Total to Rich Gang to a little bit of techno. Halo is a must see!

Let me first start by saying they have a great DJ. He played all the music I wanted to hear and did a great mix. On the other hand my mixed drink was too strong and strong with cheap vodka! A friend suggested a different drink which I enjoyed. The bathroom set up is a little confusing and had a bad smell. Also if you aren’t a fan of hookah don’t go because it is pretty popular

I came here from Buckhead to celebrate my birthday… I called yesterday night I check if there would be cover and what prices of bottles were… After telling me there is no cover and the price of the bottles I decided I end my birthday here to enjoy something different. As we arrived and could to find the front door for 10 minutes in the pouring rain we were told by the bar next door that they randomly don’t open during the week. This happened to be a day«during the week» that they decided not to open. Thanks for ruining my birthday plans. Never coming back!

Music was horrible and impossible to dance to… The place literally reeked of fecal matter. All the other folks we talked to smelled it too! The bartenders were good… Overall, we won’t be going back.

You can almost always catch me here on a Thursday night for the urban girl party scene. Gets a little smokey, unfortunately, but I think that can really be attributed to Atlanta still allowing smoking indoors, and less about Halo as a club. Great atmosphere, hookahs, and a good upstairs and downstairs space. Drinks are resonably-priced as well, and the spot is located just of West Peachtree and you can usually find street parking, even around midnight.

Halo is a great lounge in the heart of Midtown. Literally, the guts of it, because if you don’t know where Halo is, it can be tricky to find because the address says West Peachtree Street but it’s really on 7th. Drinks are comparable in price to the other bars on the block(and its a cheaper option than some of the other clubs if you’re looking for more of a chill atmosphere). I was recently here for the Woodford Reserve Manhattan mix-off to cheer on some of my favorite bartenders in the city. On this Monday night, even though drinks were complimentary, the bartenders were super friendly. Two of them even showed me the recipes for a classic Manhattan and an Old Fashioned. While I don’t venture there often, I would recommend Halo to anyone out-and-about in Midtown looking to have a cocktail with a dash of party.

Arrived around 11:30 on a Friday night. It was dead. One couple at the bar. And three of us girls. Which wasn’t really bad. The bartenders were extremely attentive and friendly. The DJ played awesome music. He came down and chatted with us for a bit, bought us a round of drinks. The bar changes colors periodically and the place just smells awesome. I am not sure what they have in their air vents, but the air is cool, crisp, clean. I loved the vibe here, even though it was dead. I will definitely be back.

Although many of my friends think otherwise, I’m not a fan of clubbing. I don’t really like wearing dresses or dancing, so that explains why. I do, however, enjoy lounges where you can just relax and sip on drinks over casual conversation and background music. Halo Lounge provides an upscale bar-like atmosphere with a small dance floor on the 3rd level. If no one in your group has ever been to Halo, it may be a challenge to find the entrance since it’s on a side street(6th St.). Once you find the entrance, it seriously feels like you’re going through a «back door» instead of the actual entrance. I recall wondering, «Is this the proper entrance?» the first two times I went. During my most recent visit on a Saturday evening(technically Sunday around 1 am) to conclude my birthday weekend festivities, the bouncer told us that it would cost $ 50 for seven of us to enter. There is no cover charge if you arrive before 10 pm, but it’s normally $ 10 if you arrive later. As soon as you walk in, you will see the large rectangular bar. My friends and I have come to an agreement that it’s way easier/quicker to get a drink if a female is the one who does the ordering. Keep this in mind as I was able to order my drink less than a minute after approaching the bar. I ordered my favorite, a «Sex on the Beach,» which was strong and tasty. I also got a Gin and Tonic for a friend, and the total for both drinks was $ 16. This isn’t cheap but not too expensive for the area. There’s a nice loungy area on the 2nd level with comfy sofas and tables. When my friends and I were there one Thursday evening last year, it was really chill because there weren’t many others there. We enjoyed many(STRONG) drinks over good conversations, and I had way too much. Although I don’t remember too much from that night, I do know I had a great time! I hadn’t checked out the dance floor on the 3rd level until my last visit, but I liked it! It’s really small, but it makes it very«cozy» and intimate. The music is loud and it makes it difficult to hold conversations, but you can go downstairs for that. There’s some seating along the walls so you can sit and take breaks between dancing, which is nice. Additionally, there’s a bar conveniently located on this level, so you can enjoy more drinks while you dance the night away. Overall, Halo Lounge gets 4 stars for their sophisticated yet fun atmosphere where you can get reasonably-priced drinks and chill or dance depending on your mood. If you’re exclusively a fan of clubs like Vanquish or Reign, you may not like the small dance floor upstairs. However, if you don’t really like clubbing but primarily want to get your drink on at an upscale venue, Halo may the perfect place for you. [Review 225 of 366]

I came here Friday night, and had an amazing time! I’ve never went to a lounge before so I didn’t really know what to expect. It’s definitely very small and NOT a club. We had VIP since it was a close friend’s 23rd birthday. We got 5 bottles, rounds of shots, and loads of dancing. The VIP tables were very nice, and they gave plenty of room to dance around. Parking is conveniently across the street, and they do offer valet parking. The place might be a little difficult to find since it is tucked away, but it’s definitely worth going to if you just want to grab a few drinks downtown with friends, or throw a big 23rd birthday party at. They even offer hookah, even though I didn’t try it, since I’m not a fan of any sort of smoking, lol. But definitely a great place to check out if you’re in the area! Very chill atmosphere. Dress up though! Not a sneaker with jeans kind of place.

Clubbing is not huge in Atlanta, and Halo comes off of a place that realized that after it opened. The décor suggests a midsize club that plays house and rave music, but it is really a big lounge that plays pretty much everything. The weekends are when Halo shines, but I have experienced some wild shenanigans on Wednesday and Thursday nights. The clientele is a mix of Georgia Tech kids still stuck in the kindergarten phase(girls on the right, boys on the left), young professionals, and club folks in painted on dresses(sexay) and dudes in jeggings(no es sexay.) Drinks are moderately priced, and they have an absinthe fountain, which is a great conversation piece before the Green Fairie takes you for the night. Also, this place does have a nose candy scene, so there’s that. Parking is pretty good, there are lots near GaTech and street parking a couple blocks away. I can’t remember the last time I paid cover — usually there isn’t one and Halo always has some cool invite only event going. it’s not more than $ 10 though. So if you like your nights filled with both house music and ATL rap, head to Halo!

Why did I think Halo was a dance club? I was wondering why the dance spaces were so tight… LOL Well it ain’t! It’s a lounge. I loved the décor and the nightlife atmosphere the lounge provides. Cover charge before midnight is $ 5 and after it is $ 10. Pretty diverse group of people. If you are looking for a really«clubby» bar check out Halo.
