I visited this bar with my mother… poor decision on my part. Dirty, dirty, dirty bar. Maybe had I visited with my boyfriend, we would have enjoyed the people watching, but with my mother, it just felt wrong. My initial impression upon entering was«this is kinda scary, please don’t rape me and my mother». All the patrons were underage tweakers who wouldn’t think twice to shank you if you even joked about playing Justin Beiber on the jukebox. I’m the kind of girl who gets hit on at bars, not threatened. The bartender, a rough broad with 80’s hair and a voice like James Earl Jones, poured us drinks with a heavy hand and a kind heart. The two drinks cost under ten dollars, including a decent tip, so that worked well in our favor. We got to talking with her and she explained how the economy hit hard(yeah, no shit), but praised the town as «a great place to raise a family». She also hinted at the fact that she was a big whore back in the day… giggity!

A dive bar with two coin operated pool tables and a nice bartender. Had a few beers here, took a few Fireballs, played some pool. All in all, a nice place to drink.

This is the best bar in Atascadero. It’s still a dive bar, but its much less skechy than the other bars in town.

Older bar but really friendly people. The kind of place I could absolutely come to love. Great first visit. :)

I haven’t been to many bars but this place was definitely a neat experience. There’s two quarter-operated pool tables, a massaging chair in a corner, and one of those cool touch-screen games! Price-wise, can’t really complain. I guess it’s the same for usual bars. 5.50 for a cocktail? The owner was pretty nice and there’s an outdoor patio for your smoking needs. Restrooms were pretty well-kept.

We like to come here on the off chance we don’t have our kiddos. The bartender/owner is always really nice and remembers us even though we only go like twice a year. The drinks are good and nicely priced. The pool tables are fun and there are some good songs on the juke-box(how the heck do you spell that?!). It is top end on the dive bar circuit!

As a bar patron, I got an interesting story about how Camozzi’s in Atascadero used to be Camozzi’s in Cambria, but they were forced to change their address and move into a different spot in downtown Atascadero, and the old Camozzi’s in Cambria is now«Mozzi’s»…Completely different owners. Beware of imitations. Camozzi’s in Atascadero is still the real deal. Great bar atmosphere. Pool tables & live music pretty much every night of the week. They have a great stage up front for all kinds of local and touring music acts. Rock and Roll is still alive and kicking at this new A town venue. Definatley worth checking out.
