Ordering Mexican food outside of Mexico is like ordering seafood in Nebraska. Terrible everywhere. This place is no exception. Ordered the chalupa with ground beef and deep fried ice cream. Got shredded beef instead and never received my deep fried ice cream. I was charged for it though and suddenly the server, who’d spoken okay English before, suddenly acted dumb and wasn’t speaking any English. Needless to say I paid for the deep fried ice cream. Won’t be back.

I’ve been here a few times, this time the service was terrible. Though happy they have added a couple of vegan items to the menu. It took at least 10 minutes for someone to come to our table to take our order (and no they were not crowded). The veggie enchiladas were actually pretty good with fresh cut veggies (grilled), guac, and rice and whole pinto beans on the side. Had to ask for our side of guac a couple of a time and actually ask for more chips once it came. So worth going for regular Mexican food that is fast but like I said service was meh. Bathrooms were clean.

Excellent place! They were closing and they felt bad that nothing really would be open and they let us in. Food came quick and huge portions. I ordered enchiladas and they were delicious. Service was among the best. Plates were hot and they even packed out leftovers for us. Very nice and personable people! A real gem!

A great find in a quaint little town! Our last port of call on our wonderful Alaska cruise, we were craving authentic Mexican food – and how lucky we were to find it here! It was a Sunday, so margaritas were $ 4 and lunch specials were available! Food was excellent, portions were generous and service was warm and attentive. Two thumbs up!

STOP TOUCHING ME!
This was my place in high school. I loved every bit of it. Back then my waiter would sometimes touch my shoulder. Witch was cool because I came in so often and he’s a friendly guy.. . And then I turned 18 and the shoulder touch was joined by a back pet. Um ok I guess…
21 hit and now I can only go in with a human shield. Aka my mom or bf.
I’m not the only one this happens to. I’ve heard a number of girls complain about it. I think it’s crossed the line from being a friendly Astoria character, to creepy.
Seriously cut it out.

We came here on vacation and were sorely disappointed. The food was bland and uneasy on the eyes. The service was practically non-​existent. We feel really sad that we made the decision to come here. Don’t make the same mistake we did.

The food was not good. Service was worse. The waiter brought the wrong meal then tried to argue why we should have what he brought instead of correcting the order. The food wasn’t good in any event, so didn’t really matter. Was all around a bad experience.

I can deal with a slow service issue (that other posters noted) for this food. I am so tired of going into a place and getting crappy food. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to in a long time. I eat a lot of Mexican food, I am from So. California, this is good Mexican food trust me. A bit refreshing from the normal Pacific Northwest Mexican food.

We came in with a part of 6. The service was extremely slow. Took forever to get our order in. One of our party was skipped over twice. Took a while to check out. And we were the only people in the place. The food was ok. The meat was seasoned with too much pepper. They just need to be more in the ball with their customer service.

We came in 5 minutes before they were closing and they were gracious enough to let us come in. The service was fast and friendly, the food authentic and tasty. I don’t get why there are negative reviews… grumpy people or just a bad day, maybe? Either way, we enjoyed it and we are pretty discerning diners.

This place is going downhill fast.
Showed up for lunch a few weeks ago. Stood at the check in stand for about 3 minutes and didn’t see or hear a single person in the restaurant. Left and went to taco bell.

The food is pricey but good. They give you nacho with delicious sauce as an appetizer. Try this place out for some good food.

Came in on a Tuesday night, so the place was nice and quiet. The lounge can get a little warm, as it is next to the kitchen, but the staff was more than happy to open the door for ventilation.
Best steak fajitas I’ve ever had. The steak was tender and lean, and seasoned very well. Onions and peppers were flash fried in the skillet perfectly, giving them color and sear, while staying crisp.
Served with a side plate of rice, beans, and condiments.
