Best salad bar in Astoria! Really great prices and great service! We did not wait long to order our salads, the workers were fast, accurate and friendly!

This place is THE BEST. I come here several times per week, to the point now where the employees know my order. The staff are always very friendly, and although sometimes super busy, they are always efficient and friendly. I started coming here after the customer service and food quality of Brooklyn Bagel across the street started deteriorating.
I often get an egg wrap or omelette, or greek yogurt parfaits, and either drip or iced coffee. All the food is really high quality, and I always custom order and it’s never been wrong. It’s also my favorite iced coffee in the area! Very smooth and very reasonably priced (compared to Gossip or Kinship).
Overall, a great café with a wide variety of high-​quality food. Any time I go out of town, I look forward to coming back to «my spot.»

I have ordered from here numerous times and the food has been passable to good. But this morning I ordered a Greek yogurt parfait for delivery and instead I got CREAM CHEESE… sour and whipped: not even close. Like, maybe someone in the kitchen mistook the cream cheese for yogurt, or actually tried to pass it off as a substitute. It was inedible. When I tried to order a replacement, I was told they were very busy and it would take a really long time. So beyond issuing a refund, they didn’t try to fix it or give a crap about customer service for a repeat customer. Well I won’t be going to Create anymore.

Love the food here. Healthy and tasty. Salad bar is great. Also love their smoothies, coffee and quinoa bowls. The only thing I have a problem with is that they have a couple of girls working there that are pretty rude especially when you try to order something to go on the phone.

What a mistake. I ordered a few breakfast sandwiches from here, two coffees, and an omelette. They left out the omelette and they will resend it, but as bland as the other sandwiches were I wish I woulda just asked for a refund. The food I did have was horrible and bland, shows lack of creativity with the kitchen staff. Sometimes they are like robots and have no thought into how a rotten tomato slice might add a weird and funny after taste, or god forbid splash some salt and pepper on something without being told to. Will NEVER order from here again.

The food is decent but the prices are too high and you’re nickeled and dimed at every end. Service is awful and with the turn over in staff, management must be the devil. If trump were to own a health food store, this would be it.

Terrible service, and ive been back several times because the salads are decent.
Salad makers need training on how to talk to customers in a respectful manner and not make mistakes on there orders.

Terrible service! I called ahead to place our order for lunch and had to wait 45+ minutes for a simple order. Extremely disappointed and very chaotic environment. Would highly recommend going to the Create on Ditmars and 31^st street instead.

Last time i ordered i received very dry pancakes but i decided to not give a low review because i give the benefit of the doubt. THIS TIME I ORDERED COUPLE OF THINGS AMONG WHICH A CROISSANT WITH NUTELLA… I grew up on nutella so i am 150% sure this is NOT NUTELLA. I very much dislike to receive something that was mis-​advertised. They should have written chocolate croissant and i would have never ordered it and wasted my money.

A neighborhood friend recommended Create to me (she claims she gets lunch there almost every day). The quinoa dish was decent, a little bit plain, will have to try it again soon! (trying to go mostly vegan next week, too). Anyone have a favorite dish?

The food is good, fresh and healthy.
If I don’t have time to make fresh juice or a smoothie at home, I come here for my fix.
I like the turbo fresh juice among other combinations.
I also get the pick your own salad and I’ve had their quinoa bowls. They are filling and fresh.
I ordered the salmon quinoa bowl once and the fish was not good. It didn’t taste fresh and had a weird metal taste. I will never order it again.
I’ve had the split pea and lentil soups. A bit salty for my taste.
The staff is nice and efficient.

This is a gem in Astoria. Despite ALL of the wonderful and diverse eateries in the neighborhood, there aren’t too many where I can enjoy a delicious guilt-​free meal. The Quinoa bowls are EVERYTHING; filled with flavor and loads of goodness for your buck.
They even have off-​menu foods for when I visit with my toddler, just ask.
The service has always been 100% in person, never too long a wait and the saff always courteous, one time I ordered delivery however, and the delivery guy annoyed me. He was in a haste and somewhat rude. Food rules the world though so, I remain a happily-​fed customer.

The salads are good here. Juices and smoothies are ok too. Service is hit or miss at many times. Need to upkeep the bathroom., also there was no soap in there to wash hands

I’m not sure what everyone is talking about but every time I’ve been here I’ve gotten Normal service, Nothing extraordinary but pretty much asked for my Food and I was good to go! By the way their quinoa Bowls are amazing!!!
Fast Service, Fresh, Heathy, Affordable Food!

This is a good spot if you want something healthy and quick. You are not going to get a gourmet or restaurant style salad here but it gets the job done if you’re hungry. They give you a choice of bread to go along with your salad. The cinco de mayo wrap is really good.

While the service at Create is friendly, the food and atmosphere just aren’t good enough to merit a return visit. I went for breakfast hoping to find a place where I could settle in with a hearty meal and work on my laptop for a while, but unfortunately both parts of this plan were thwarted.
I had a Santa Fe Breakfast Quesadilla with home fries and a Sumatra Roast coffee, but everything about the food was subpar. The quesadilla was soggy, and lacked flavor. Even the side of guacamole that I ordered was too limey and lacked consistency. The home fries, I barely even touched, as they were for some reason slightly sweet? Maybe it was the onions. The coffee was probably the best thing I had on Monday morning. On top of the underwhelming breakfast, their WiFi was down. When I asked if they had an alternate password for their other Create username, they said no and that they guessed it wasn’t working. The woman behind the counter didn’t offer to reset the modem, so I packed up and went home. I wish I would have just gone to Brookyln Bagel like I usually do.

The last few times I’ve been to create, the staff has been closing early and putting the food away, while a line waits to be served. Your business closes at 10pm, why at 930pm are your displays empty? And the worst part is the line of 10 people deep just standing there waiting to place an order and not one employee tells us.
Another healthy food option with quick service needs to open cause I’m sick of being a patron at create.

I really like Create! The delivery minimum is 15 which is expensive since I only order food for myself. In that case, I usually get pickup. The create your own sandwich is so effing good. Soooo many options, and fresh and affordable. Salad is good too, and they have fresh pink lemonade!
I would stay away from the juices though. All 3 times I got half of it as a foamy juice. The girls that juiced for me were very amateur. create needs a strainer and proper training for the juice bar, but I’ll only knock off one star for that.
I just placed a delivery order and it came in 11 minutes. Amazing.

I’m starting to realize that when Create is busy, usually on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, my food is either forgotten about or it’s wrong. There is specifically one sandwich guy that seems to mess up my order every time. All other workers are very nice and attentive. I just hope Create starts weeding out the lazy workers because it makes me second guess going as often as I do.
