My take out cashew chicken had no cashews in it! I would say no scallions as well, but to be fair, I did find 3 pieces. This restaurant is close and quick for takeout but has been dissapointing me lately. The dishes seem very bland.

I ordered food tonight off the site and I thought the price($ 13) was reasonable. When I arrived to pick up the food I was told the real price was $ 19 and when I showed the website I had used, I was told that only the prices on their own website was correct. When I asked for the website, I was told that they don’t have one… When I got home the container of plum sauce was barely half full, about 2 teaspoons worth, and the pad thai flavorless and for some reason sour There was literally no one in the restaurant when I was there and now I know why. I doubt they’ll be in business in 6 months

For being a Thai restaurant in the suburbs, this place is wonderful! I ordered Chicken Pad Thai and wasn’t disappointed — it was a large portion and absolutely delicious. Because there was a $ 20 delivery minimum I added the Gyoza appetizer to my order. They were also absolutely delicious! The delivery was quick, too. I will absolutely be ordering from here again!

I’ve been to Krua Khun Yah a handful of times for take out. The staff is always friendly and my order is always cooked to order. My recently I ordered the Pad See You and the Spring Rolls. All were piping hot when I picked them up and good. I wouldn’t say they were the best I’ve ever had but definately not the worst.

I went here with my husband and kids last week. The food was absolutely delicious. At first we were afraid the place won’t be so good due to it not being busy. I have to say it definitely changed my mind. The food was very good and so was the service. We will be coming back here more often.

I usually order takeout from this restaurant. I usually get an appetizer, crab ragoons and entrée tofu pad Thai. I was craving pad Thai the other day so I decided to order here. I have to say, huge disappointment. This isn’t the first time I’ve been ordering here so I know what I’m expecting. However the last two or times ordering here, their crab ragoons have been stale and burnt. You can tell they just refried the dough, it taste weird. The pad Thai portion was smaller than usual but still good. Just a little disappointed this time hopefully next time it’ll be better.

First Thai experience, if you can believe that! Obviously went with the Pad Thai(chicken) which was tasty but 100x better when our server brought my some peanut sauce to try it with. My boyfriend is a big Thai food fan and said it was great! Spring rolls — yum! Crab Rangoon was delicious and the cocktails were pretty good as well. Several types of saki to choose from if that’s your thing, as well as Mai Tais and things of that ilk. We had no room to even consider dessert but will definitely be back!

I had some time to kill on the way to a poker game in Shrewsbury. I had to stop into a shopping centra to buy some stuff, and saw this place inviting me in. I’m glad I accepted the invitation. I had the chicken with basil. I asked for it with the maximum amount of spicyness, but it came out relatively mild. Even so, it was delicious — filled with vegetables and large slices of chicken. I was only sorry that I couldn’t eat another half dozen of the entries. I’ll have to go back. Service was timely and helpful.

So, we’ve been consistently doing takeout with KKY for a while now. Still never got around to that sit down, and still ordering the more generic stuff. But… and this is the one thing that I just can’t stop loving about them… HOLYCRAP, THEYDELIVERREALFAST! Like, alarmingly quick, and always still piping hot! Over the phone, they’ll quote you the standard 30 – 40 minute expected delivery time, but to date, I’ve only had to wait 10 – 15 minutes. Delivery people(I suspect the owner has delivered a few times in person) are also super friendly(plus, they don’t use DASHED). The wonder that is their prep and delivery time cannot be overstated! While I regret never having shown up in person to enjoy a mai tai(I WILLEVENTUALLY!), the simple truth is that as a take-out restaurant, they are always fast and reliable.

It was just ok. Nothing special. Average Thai restaurant. The décor and upkeep of the facility was sub par and bordering filthy and unattractive. Most likely will not return. Only good thing was that they have cans of coke :-)

I dined here yesterday for lunch. It was my first time at this restaurant. I ordered the chicken yellow curry. This luncheon special came with pineapples, onion, peppers, carrots, yellow squash and zucchini. It also included white rice. The presentation was extremely artistic. The vegetables were steamed perfectly. The cost was $ 8.45. This was the best Thai food that I’ve had. I’ve dined at Thai restaurants in Wayland, Natick and Framingham but none come close to the freshness and flavor that I experienced at Krua Khun Yah. I will definitely be coming back here again.

Came here for a late lunch today with my mother, the food, along with the service is excellent. I am quite picky eater, the waitress taking my order listened and got me the food according to my specifications. Definitely coming back here.

We live close to this place so get it a lot. eating there is never great because the service is usually horrible, but the food is good enough to keep us coming back(mostly for take out or delivery now, which is usually pretty fast!) The last couple of times we have gotten food from here, though, I was pretty disappointed. I ordered a chicken satay salad and for $ 8 was pretty bummed when it was delivered with 3 pieces tofu on top instead of chicken and definitely small enough to be a side, not a meal. I also usually really love their Rad Nah but it has tasted burnt the last couple of times I have had it. The rest of their food never fails, classic, delicious Pad Thai, good appetizers and killer Thai iced tea! They could step up their game a little by being more accurate on orders and maybe not burning the food quite as often! Otherwise, I’m pretty sure we’ll continue ordering from here!

Thai take-out for lunch? Anytime! Give me pad thai, and I’m a happy girl! Their Chicken Satay($ 6.50 off the website) was that scary golden yellow, but quite nice and tender, and worth getting even though we also had a rendition in the chilled Satay Salad $ 6.95(chicken satay on a bed of lettuce, cucumber, carrots, tomatoes, and egg slices served with peanut sauce). Shrimp in a Blanket $ 6.50(delicate whole shrimp wrapped with crispy egg roll skin. Served with house sweet chili sauce) arrived as 4, perhaps but 2 inches long from tip to tail. Fresh Roll $ 5.50(rice paper wrapped with tofu, lettuce, carrot, cucumber, avocado, and basil leaves. Served with a sweet brown sauce.) were 3 to an order Tod Mun Pla $ 6.50(the most famous Thai dish minced shrimp and fish beaten with Thai curry paste, deep fried into golden brown. Served with crushed peanuts on cucumber sauce) was something I never had before. It didn’t look exactly appetizing, but it was interesting in texture and taste. Chicken Pad Thai $ 7.95(A popular Thai noodle dish. Rice Noodles stir-fried with egg, scallions, bean sprouts and ground peanuts.) was yummy though it was poultry alone(aka no shrimp). Everything was tasty. They deliver!

I can only speak of the pick up service/food since that’s all I’ve ever done. I usually order the Chicken Pad Thai and the Chicken House Fried Rice to go. The phone call when ordering, is usually short and sweet. The food has never taken more than 10 – 15 minutes between ordering and pick up time. The food itself? Always cooked perfectly, and tastes better every time I have it. Not too pricey. And the dish sizes are enough to split between two people/two servings. I would give it 5 stars, but I’ve never been inside to sit and eat. But they do have a Buffet on the weekends I hear? So I’ll have to check that out and possibly update my review.

After yet another snow storm Mr. G and I were too pooped to cook so we ventured out for Thai and we were not disappointed. Bowl of Hot Miso soup with fresh scallions hit the spot. We shared some veggie pan fried dumplings that were crisp and not greasy and then we each got a dish. Mr G. got the red curry with veggies and I scooped a taste. The coconut sauce was perfect with full coconut flavor and was not watered down. The spicy kick was also just right. I ordered the Crazy noodles and thought they were with wide rice noodles but this time they were with thin ones. Maybe I did in fact order something different the last time but this dish was dead on. The tofu was crispy on the outside and was firm with a good texture. Not squishy but had yet taken on the full flavor of the plate. The onions, carrots, peppers and other veggies were crunchy but were cooked well. Again, the flavor was outstanding with fresh spicy basil leaves and a huge portion that will be heated up for yet another hot meal. The prices were very reasonable — $ 40 for the two of us. The place has warm bright colors decorated in orange and red with gold elephants throughout. It was quiet because of the storm which was nice given our exhausted state. They have a buffet table but they only serve it during the summer at lunch time. We will definitely be back for that. This is by far the best place we have had Thai and although a bit off the beaten path is so worth the drive.

I agree with other reviewers about the service. There were several times throughout the meal that we all had empty water glasses, and with only 2 other tables in the restaurant, there’s no reason for them not to keep on top of something as simple as that. With that being said, the food is the star here. Located in a strip mall, there’s not a lot of ambiance, so if the food isn’t good, I can’t see why anyone would come here, but it is, it really is. I ordered chicken pad thai and my friends got the crispy basil chicken and mango curry. All of the dishes were so yummy, and one of my friends said that there are very few places that even serve mango curry. My favorite of all our entrees was definitely the crispy basil chicken. Great flavor with a little of a kick. I do think it is odd that they tack on a rice charge. It made it so that my pad thai was over 7 dollars less expensive than the meals my friends got
