Hands down– best service, Hands down– best chocolate. They care so much about their customers and have made lists of vegan, gluten-free etc. chocolates and treats! They are so patient and it really makes me feel great as a person with allergies to be taken so seriously(especially with a huge sweet tooth to boot). Delicious chocolates, beautiful wrapping, great service.

The sipping chocolate was divine, Chai Moon truffle was smooth and creamy, and the chocolate covered ginger was just the right amount of bite to sweetness. The staff was incredibly friendly and our treats were worth every penny. I felt like a little kid again while sipping that chocolate!

Very attractive shop. Wide assortment, only purchased a couple of truffles and milk chocolate, caramel with cashew chocolate about 2−½″ in diameter, but all were excellent. Only problem is that specialty chocolate are expensive, but not more so that what you would find in similar shop. Was told that they make all their own items.

These people sell expensive chocolates made by master chocky blokes and blokettes on site. But, while they are expensive, they are not over priced. We often pass through Asheville(it’s a great place to spend some time) and always stop at ‘the Fetish’. It is a great shop, well maintained and with a wide variety of the best chocolates I have ever tasted. Very, very, very, very… very bloody good!

One of the best places around! Love the variety. You can taste how much time and love they put into their chocolate. Our favorites were the marshmallows in dark chocolate. The caramels were also a hit. They workers are very friendly. We just had a hard time deciding!

This is located in downtown Asheville, so you will likely have to park and then walk over here, but The Chocolate Fetish is worth a visit! It has all kinds of delectable treats to satisfy your sweet tooth! I like to do my preemptive«research» before going to eateries and the like, so I went with the Chai Moon Truffle, which is an Ecstasy Elite Truffle(that just sounds all kinds of supah fancy, doesn’t it!?) — «White chocolate shell dusted with cinnamon and cocoa powder. A milk chocolate center infused with the main spices of Chai Tea, an Indian tradition. You experience the flavors of cinnamon, cloves, ginger, cardamom, and a rich chocolate taste.» It was delicious! :](The truffles are $ 2 each.) I also got a small bag of dark chocolate-covered espresso beans to give to my friend since her birthday was coming up and she’d mentioned liking those. Feedback from her is that they were super tasty! :] I’m also curious about all the different chocolate-dipped fruits they have, but I may just try to make that on my own, because my student loans make my wallet cry a couple thousand rivers every time I take it out. Prices are a little bit up there, but it is a specialty shop, and I considered myself«on vacation,» so why the hecks not?!

The chocolates here are as decadent as the name implies. These are some of the best chocolates I have ever had and I lived in Europe for nearly two years. Make sure you try the bourbon caramels, the dragon truffle and the milk chocolate truffle. Sadly when I went there they did not have hot chocolate yet. However I was informed that when fall season gets into more of a swing, that there will be some available.

Delightful chocolate shop in beautiful downtown Asheville. The most decadent selection of truffles and chocolate covered everything. You almost feel like you’re picking out an engagement ring as you scan the display cases looking for the perfect chocolate. Nice staff and perfect for gifts.

The best sea salted caramels… EVER. If you’re feeling brave try the habanero salted caramel and then run for a glass of milk! Chocolate Fetish is right in the heart of vibrant downtown Asheville and is a must stop during your visit to This amazing town. If you visit in the fall, they will be serving their drinking chocolate. It’s delicious! Oh and they can ship their chocolates!

I put a little time into the age old question of «Which is better the Chocolate Lounge or the Chocolate Fetish?» I bought a box of six truffles from the Lounge and the corresponding flavors from the Fetish. A blind taste test was then executed. Each truffle was cut into a forth and divided amongst 4 participates(It was a highly scientific process). Five out of the six truffles unanimously went to Chocolate Fetish on flavor and texture for the WIN! Where Chocolate Fetish could improve is their marketing. To me the décor and packaging is dated. When giving them for the holidays and such Chocolate Lounge’s box is a better presentation. While I have to say Chocolate Fetish has better truffles, Chocolate lounge will still always have the atmosphere to wrap up date-night…and the beer floats!(I said gross too, but the beer float is a must try) There you have it. If you are a hardcore truffle eater looking to mainline that chocolate definitely go Chocolate Fetish. If atmosphere and presentation matter go Chocolate Lounge.

The smell was intoxicating as I approached the store! They had everything from cute novelties like the chocolate covered Oreos to chocolate shaped doggie bones to truffles made by hand! We of course had to get some of everything:) the truffles I picked were champagne, mocha and a triple chocolate… All I can say is I could eat an entire box of these! The doggie bone shaped chocolates and Oreos we picked up as gifts and also enjoyed them while there :):) perfect way to end our evening. I loves they had tables inside and outside to sit and enjoy these yummy treats!

Great tasting chocolate although the $ 2 a piece price tag had me holding my breath. Champagne Bön Bön was ok compared to the 1 I had earlier at biltmore estate. The mint chocolate frog was great. The habanero Bön Bön nearly killed me. Lol. It was tasty and the be enjoyed it or enjoyed the torture on my face ha. Oh I had a cherry dipped piece which was great and I’d def get that again(1.25/ea). So glad we stopped in.

Insanely awesome selection of chocolates and truffles with all the free sarcasm and disdain you could ever hope for from the staff! Try the sipping chocolate, it’s worth the debasement you’ll receive when you ask questions about their vaguely labeled sundries.

This is a great chocolate shop. They have more kinds of chocolate here than you can imagine. Every kind of truffle. They also have some unique chocolates. They had a turtle, about 5 inches long, and inside the turtle are other chocolates. We watched them make this and it was cool. We loaded up on a mixture of chocolates and took them home with us for later consumption. Definitely a place to visit and to grab a few chocolates.

I gotta say, I’m not much of a candy guy but this place was sensory overload. There were sweets all over the place. The awards hanging from the ceiling were well deserved as I haven’t had chocolate this good ever.

Probably the best chocolate shop I have been to. The dark chocolate pistachio frog was the best. They have delicious flavors– the sweet tea was fm great, had a hint of earl grey. They also have handmade marzipan! Very hard to find marzipan. The shop was cute, conveniently located and the staff were friendly. It is so good I am considering ordering some and having it shipped!

At first glance, The Chocolate Fetish has more in common with a high-end jewelry store than with a bakery. Walk in, and you can’t help but marvel at all the rounds, truffles, bars, and other assorted delicacies tucked behind display glass. «Exquisite» is rarely merited, but it fits the bill here. Needless to say, you’ll be spending quite a bit more than you would for a convenience store Hershey bar. If the Smores chocolate round I sampled was any indication, however, the goods are worth the green. Many times, Smores flavoring results in an abundance of faux marshmallow. This round, however, maintained its chocolate character. It was sweet but not overpowering, decadent without being hedonistic. For dessert-seekers, The Chocolate Fetish is a worthy attraction. For chocophiles, it’s a necessary odyssey.

First off, I have to disclose that I’ve been a customer of The Chocolate Fetish since near-childhood. My father sent me chocolates from here for my college finals weeks and — now that I am a graduate student — makes sure that I have a box waiting after every stressful committee meeting. For me, their chocolates have all sorts of emotional tie-ins and I make a point to stop in anytime I am in Asheville for a little truffle-shaped comfort food. I was here on Monday with friends new to Asheville and the Fetish. Unsurprisingly, our visit did not disappoint. I purchased a 4-pack of truffles getting both of their seasonal offerings(basil-pistachio and mountain sunrise) along with my long-time favorites(dragon’s sigh and ancient pleasure). All were outstanding. My friends were blown away by their selections(various truffles, chocolate rounds and turtles) and raved on the way home about how delicious everything was. I might be a tad biased, but The Chocolate Fetish is my ‘home’ chocolatier and I’ll always use them as the measuring stick for future chocolate store finds.
