Lisa was absolutely amazing! She cut and highlighted my hair and it turned out great. I plan on going to her from now on. :) I highly recommend her. Very happy with this salon.

Every girls worst nightmare! Stay away! I bought the Groupon for highlights and a hair cut. When I got to the salon Lisa told me it would cost $ 10 extra because I had so much hair. She was just trying to get more money because my hair is about shoulder length and incredibly thin. Then she did my highlights and I looked like a zebra. She then told me that was what a blended highlight looked like. I’ve gotten highlights before and they never looked like that. She then charged me $ 10 more to put toner in to make the highlights look the way they should have to begin with. Following this I asked her to cut as little off my hair as possible because I was growing it out. She cut about 4 inches off the back and about 5 off the front. She proceeded to «frame my face» which apparently to her means cut about a 4 inch section of my hair 3 inches shorter than the rest of my hair. During the appointment she answered 2 phone calls as well as checking for texts twice. Summary: –Terrible Highlights –Terrible Haircut –Paid extra for the excessive amount of hair I don’t have –Paid extra for her to fix her mistakes –Incredibly rude and unprofessional

I was really impressed from the beginning with Lisa. I left her a message trying to get in on a very busy Saturday for her, and she made time for me. Not only that, but I have great hair and am always trying to find the right style to look great… who doesn’t? Somehow, Lisa cut my hair exactly as I asked her to. The surprising point is it looks better than it ever has. I’ve been asking people to cut my hair this way for probably 20 years, but stylists seem to get a picture in their minds how it should be or go off in their own direction, or something… and never seem to give you what you really want. For years, I’ve found great stylists, who have done fantastic jobs and are very talented. However, this is the first time in years that people specifically tell me that I have never looked better, that my hair has never looked better… and I have Lisa to thank. It has been 4 months and my hair still looks fantastic. It was not too short when she first cut it, either, I wanted long layers, and no one does layers like Lisa. People I have known all my life who have never complimented me — and other people that just don’t give out compliments have made comments on my hair — all thanks to Lisa. I was searching for that one stylist that could make my hair look great and have always settled for less(while my hair still looked good, why look good when you can look great?) I didn’t even think of writing a review until I went online trying to find her contact information to call her again… she deserves a ton of excellent reviews!

Lisa was great! I don’t have curly hair like the previous review but Lisa did a fantastic job. Everything that I asked for she did perfectly. My highlights turned out just like I wanted and my cut was just what I asked for. I would recommend her to everyone. Thanks Lisa!

I bought a Groupon to get my hair cut with Lisa recently. I asked her to cut off an inch, and she suggested half an inch. I went with her suggestion because there’s always the fear you are going to get too much cut off. I have curly hair and the problem with curly hair is that until you style it yourself, you don’t really know how it’s going to fall. It’s rare I’ve had someone able to style my curly hair well. So after a few days of styling it, I realized that I really wished the extra half inch had been cut off and my hair was triangle shaped(a common problem with stylists who aren’t familiar with layering curly hair). I called Lisa back to ask if she would be willing to fix it for me and we scheduled an appointment for later in the week. Unfortunately my husband got a job interview at the same time and I needed to take care of my son, so I called her 24 hours before my appointment and asked if I could reschedule. She told me she was with a client and would call me back. When I still hadn’t heard from her an hour before my scheduled appointment the next day, I called again and left her a message reminding her that I wasn’t going to be able to make it that day and asking if we could reschedule sometime next week. It’s now been over a week, and she never called me back. She had sounded a little annoyed when I asked her to fix my cut, but I think it’s a fairly common practice. The few times I’ve needed to have it fixed in the past, stylists have always been okay with it. It’s not like I was calling 6 weeks later asking her to fix it. However, if she wasn’t willing to do it, she could have at least called me and told me that. Her lack of response is bad customer service and shows a lack of professionalism.

I look fantastic! Thanks Sandy! My wife is the only audience that counts and she says my new haircut makes me look younger and sexier. I’m definitely going back! I really appreciate the way Sandy takes her time to get every detail just right. She knows what looks good and how to achieve it. Her communication skills are excellent and she’s really good at making sure she understands what her customers want BEFORE she picks up the scissors.
