Veterans Park

Great park, best in Arlington. Clean, pet friendly with doggie bags for cleanup. Ducks on the pond, big playground, wildflowers, phenomenal disk golf course and all around great trails.

Love this park! Perfect for walking your dog. Well lit trails for day or night time walks. Only down fall with night walks is the local kids use the back trails to smoke weed.

Hidden gem. My girlfriend and I were looking to take our dog our for a walk. There didn’t appear to be many options so we came by.
One reason for the 4 star is that parking isn’t great. We got lucky with a spot but they are limited. Also the dog poop bags were no where to be found but lucky for us she didn’t do any business.
Other than those two cons, this place was nice. Lots of people playing disc golf, ultimate frisbee and running. Trail is about 1.5 miles give or take (there weren’t any obvious markers so I’m guessing.) The park seemed well groomed and taken care of. Could use a few more water fountains also. But overall just what you would expect from a park.

Great area park. You can play frisbee golf, hike the trails, look out over a pond, take the kids to the play ground or enjoy a nice picnic at one of their pavilions.
We enjoy taking our dog through the trails. They have a «paved» trail and an «off road» trail.
There is enough open space to do pretty much anything you want. Nice gardens to walk through or take your horse out for a ride on the trails.
