I used to eat here often. I loved their garlic butter chicken wings and jackfruit smoothies. However, I went there during normal business hours and was waved off after being rudely informed that they weren’t open. The place looked like a gambling den and daycare. Not only will I not eat here again, but I will happily inform others to steer clear of this once great restaurant.

The first thing I ordered was phở ga, it was very good. Not too salty and the broth was very flavorful, with dark meat chicken it all worked very well together. Next Time I ordered bun bo hue, which is my favorite soup because I do like spicy food and it is cooked with pork and has many good flavors coming together. I have not been all over the country and never to Vietnam, but the only other place that I’ve had bun bo hue on the same level is in Haltom City. No restaurant in Arlington, in my opinion, matches Phở Saigon’s bun bo hue. The broth is amazing, it smells rich, the color seems like a deep rust, although the last few times it has not been served with pork blood. It is quite spicy but also sweet. I didn’t know why until I dug deep and noticed the onions, these onions in the soup are not raw or slightly cooked. The sweetness comes from the onions, not sugar. This becomes more apparent with more visits because the tastes are not always the same each visit, you can see the ingredients. I personally like that about a restaurant, and also I know they are not simply spicing up a phở ga broth or something, which really ticks me off. Also they do serve shrimp paste if you want. Anyway, I’ve had some other rice dishes, with pork, I’ve never had anything raw, nor has the meat been dry. I like the fish sauce over the soy, because I like sweeter sauces and adding soy is like salt on salt on salt… you get the idea. Try them both though and find out which flavor you like best. I would definitely recommend Phở Saigon to anyone.

I like their Bun Bo Hue and Com Ga Xoi Mo. They are so delicious but the Bun Bo is kinda sweet, so if you don’t like it, you can ask the owner to put less sugar. I decided to try the grilled short ribs and phở today. The phở is ok. The ribs is tender and yummy but I will ask her to put less sweet next time lol.

Been wanting to try it. Finally got a chance to Very disappointed. Don’t waste your time Bún bo hue is full of msg & loaded with oil . Asked for bot chiên dish. Not cooking that today. Canh gà chiên nuoc mám. Hard as a rock. Korean short ribs rice plate — worst ever Chewy & tasted bloody & raw. The only thing that’s tasted decent was banh beo dish. It was ok. I don’t recommend it. It was lunch time But there was only 1 table with customer . This tells u how good this place is . Thumbs down !

First time here. I got a small Bun Bo Hue on Thursday for only $ 5.95! They say small, but it’s still large for me. It got me full. Flavors were on point. They have different specials on different days. Closed on Tuesday.

I really like this place! Their Bun Bo Hue is SUUUPER spicy(this is coming from someone who doesn’t eat spicy food well). Piping hot and the color is a beautiful yet intimidating oily red. It’s the spiciest Bun Bo Hue that I have tried at any Vietnamese restaurant that I’ve been to and tastes very authentic. Their combination fried rice tastes delicious! Just like my favorite in Houston, so I’m excited that I can eat fried rice in Arlington again. I normally don’t order fried rice because it’s too salty, but this dish is mildly seasoned and the soft rice is not drying at all. The meat, eggs, and veggies sprinkled in the rice are important wonderful goodness to this as well. Phở here is pretty good. Can’t really complain :) They have a ton of selections on xoi– Vietnamese sticky sweet rice. Their coffee is amazing! Before I left, I had to order two more of those. It tastes rich and milky, but at such a good balance to it. Service deserves well recognition. The owners are polite and sublime. When we first walked in, no one was there, and the air was warm and a bit suffocating. As soon as the restaurant owner came out and seated us, he asked us if it was too hot and we told him a bit but it was fine, yet he insisted and turned on the AC for us anyways #BLESS. I even saw him converse with one of his regular customers who came in after us, which is such a nice thing to do. Asking about someone’s wellbeing and their family. So heartwarming. His wife is a lot shorter than I am(and I’m only 5’1) but she’s adorable xD I’m not sure if it was because my family and I decided to come after a heavy rainy day or whatnot, but this restaurant doesn’t have too many people dining in yet. Location may be a hole in the wall. I hope this restaurant picks up soon by the time I return because they deserve more customers. I will definitely be back to try more foods.

This restaurant is delicious! My dad decided to bring home phở and bun bo hue home one day. It was delicious! I asked my dad where he picked it up from and he lead me to Phở Saigon. If you come here, you must get the bun bo hue!!! I don’t usually eat bun bo hue, but I absolutely love it here. To drink, get the coconut water! It’s sweet and refreshing. I love it here! My new favorite Vietnamese restaurant.

First time we were here, the food was good. This is the second time, brought some more friends, it’s just blah. Took forever to bring food out. The meat on grilled pork vermicelli was so black and bitter. And we have a little problem with the veggies that come with phở, which i think better not to disclose here. Over all, it’s all right.
