Homemade style food that I love and especially they open really late. I enjoyed our usual order of thit kho trung cut, tom cang kho to and canh chua. The prices are also very affordable and staffs are nice most of the time.

I think 3 stars is being generous, but I absolutely hated my visit. It wasn’t even packed or anything. It’s midday on a weekday. Why did it take 20 mins for my party of 6 to get our food? I found a hair in my phở dac biet. By the time everyone finished eating, we still didn’t get our drinks. When we asked they replied with«we’re currently making them» which is complete bullshit. All they needed to bring out was 3 sodas and two specialty drinks that aren’t difficult to make. I didn’t even want my thai tea at this point but they made it and brought it out anyways. It was so bitter. Just like I am at this place. The only thing I liked was the woman who was doing her best to get everyone’s table served. The men working there were useless. Shout out to that lady. Sorry you work with trash.

We came in here because we saw a lot of people and we’re so glad that we did. Everything was excellent — we had the tre(Vietnamese dessert) which was great, a mango smoothie(also tasty), hi tieu, goi cuon, and bun bo hue. The hu tieu exceeded our expectations. It was the best we have had in a long time, and reminds us of our favorite hu tieu restaurant back in California. Unfortunately we live in Houston, otherwise this would have been our go-to Vietnamese restaurant. Don’t let the outside appearance steer you away. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. We came in very late after a long day at six flags and they provided excellent service, even though they were closed. They also gave us a free soda chanh — we ordered soda chanh and they forgot about it so they gave us one for free! Highly recommended! Will definitely be back next time we are in Dallas.

the 1st time i went here was a few years ago. they advertise that they have Soc Trang noodle. i’m from Soc Trang and their noodle taste nothing like the original one so dont even bother. tonight my friends want some phở and this is the only phở restaurant that’s open past 10pm so we came here. upon our arrival, we saw a bunch of middle-aged vietnamese men drinking and doing karaōke. this is new, it isnt even a bar. they were so loud, we should have left. but i didnt want to disappoint my friends so we stayed and cant even hear what the others say since the music is so loud. the waiter threw 1 menu on our tables and came back with 2 other one, how rude. my friend’s phở was not good at all. the broth taste weird. Phở Palace still has the best phở. luckily my banh canh taste decent, nothing special. my other friend’s pork vermicelli was bad too. im Viet and i couldnt even stand the loud singing. my 2 non-Viet friends had a worse time lol the only good thing is the food came out fast but that’s it. we finished and left quickly cause our ears couldnt take it anymore. to those who said just suck it up for the food, i worked in Asian restaurant before and im Vietnamese myself but this is another level of non-existent service. food is nothing special, service is just bad, i didnt expect loud karaōke in there. i just want a decent quiet dinner. its safe to say i ll never come back.

I mean, yeah, service here isn’t too nice… But it’s just that one lady lol. Usually she’s tolerable, but on certain days, she’s testing our patience or something. Mmm. The guy owner, however, is very kind and silly. One time we asked him for an extra bowl and his head was in the clouds and he walked right past our table only to snap back to reality and rewind by walking backwards to our table again, ahhah. He’s also frequently checking if we need anything when he waits on our table. My favorite thing to eat here is the banh hoi dac biet. They make it the best here. They’re basically slices of square vermicelli that you can roll up using the lettuce and add in the Vietnamese bbq meat, fish cake, tofu, cucumbers, and pickled carrots and daikon dipped in fish sauce. You should try this! I come here for my banh hoi cravings. Portion is pretty large as well. The phở is just okay in my opinion, but you’re looking at a person who is one of the rare Vietnamese people that don’t like phở. Drinks are standard as well. Nothing amazing, but I’d stay away from their milk tea. It’s the worst I’ve ever had anywhere. The drink itself has a weird taste and they also add in whip cream, but it doesn’t dissolve into the drink and just leaves bits and pieces of white foam scattered throughout the liquid and it’s just gross. Initially, it’s gonna look great and yummy but it was all a lie. Heartbreak. Order their Thai tea instead. It’s a much better choice in comparison. Or hot tea to cancel out all the grease used in the banh hoi meats. People will either like durian or hate it. There is no in-between, but if you can handle durian, their durian shake doesn’t have much flavor in it. You can go to Phở Empire in Irving for better durian smoothies. Ambience is nice and homey. I like their Vietnamese pop songs that they usually play. Tables and chairs are well kept. Not a bad place at all, but it doesn’t make my top list of fave Vietnamese restaurants.

Their banh canh is good but I was a little confuse at the first time as they mix up my friend’s order. He want Bun Rieu and they gave him Bun Bo Hue but it’s good though. I like their special Bun Bo Nuong. I’d be here for sure if I want some more of it.

One of the best places to get a bowl of phở in Arlington. Sometimes the broth can be a little too light, but you can ask them to skim the fat off the top to make it richer. Great service and very nice people.

So for the folks who get pissed off because of poor service… please DON’T go to authentic Asian restaurants. When you enter a phở place, they ALWAYS assume you know what you want… usually phở, right? The servers are nearly as short with native speakers as with non-native speakers… just accept it. If you need a few extra minutes just ask for it. I go places for the food. The ambiance be damned. Serve me a kick ass dish and I’ll eat it in some horrible conditions. Having said all this, I love this place because the phở, mi my tho and bun bo hue kick ass here. Great flavors, PLENTY of meat and you get your food fast! The portions are large too. Come hungry. Afterwards, go get some groceries at the asian market next door… or get some to go stuff at the Viet Tofu in the same parking lot.

My husband was craving a phở soup. We Found this restaurant in Unilocal.Decided to go eat there. As soon as you go in they start welcoming you. This was our first time eating at a Vietnamese restaurant. We did not understand the menu, but the waiter helped us and explained what each soup contained. We ordered two kinds of soups, fried rice, spring rolls and a mango tea. Soups were excellent, rice we did not like. Spring rolls were ok. Defenetly going back for the soups. Mango tea was more like a frozen sweet smoothie. It was good. We were very satisfied with what we ate. we paid around 35 dlls for dinner.

The Phở was AWESOME! The broth was tasty, and the meat tender and the cilantro was fresh and zesty. The egg rolls were fried just right. Topped off with a sugar cane Coke, and good conversation. A nice dinner all around. The wait Staff was friendly and very helpful, and johnny on the spot and constantly checked on us the whole time we were there.

The food is mediocre. Got phở. I give a one star because of rudeness. Is that a part of Vietnamese culture or just this person? The lady threw her hands up, frowned, and got a young man to take my order. When I asked what the problem might be/why she’s scoffing at me, he said its because I didn’t order in Vietnamese or something. I won’t be back.

I ordered the lemon grass beef bowl. I check in and tried to use the 10% off my total bill and the waiter told me it was only good during the week. Don’t know if that’s true or not but I’ll find out sooner or later.

I had ways wanted to try phở but didn’t rely know where to go. I went with a couple friends of mine that had been here before and loved it. We all decided to go there one day for lunch. We had all ordered the chicken phở and had gotten out to us faster than we expected. When I tried it, I was blown away. It was amazing, it tasted so rich and fresh. Adding a bit of garlic and sriracha sauce helped with the flavor. The portions are very big. I had gotten a medium, and it was too much food for me. I ended up taking home and eating it later. The Boba is really good as well. I would highly recommend this place for the excellent food, good service. and great value!

Phở was ok. The meat has an old taste, not fresh, not good. I also ordered an avocado smoothie and it tasted so WEIRD!!! It tastes as if they added some kind of flavor powder to it. Does not taste natural. Had to throw it away. Wasted my $ 3.50. Dont ever order that! It was my first and also last time ate there.

It was good. Not like that greatest, and the family that was there was kind of rude, but the waiter was nice. The lemongrass beef was good, but not incredible filling. My friend had grilled chicken, or something of the sort, and it was the best thing I had there.

This place serves the best hands down hot pot(lau) for the price. The broth always comes flavorful just make sure you ask for the«thai» version. The staff is very willing to help if you’ve never had hot pot before or just don’t know how to turn it on. The only thing I don’t like is the music. It’s alway way too loud. I always ask for tables away from the speakers. I come here for the food not the music. My mouth is already watering just thinking about their hot pot. So good!

I’m by no means a Phở expert. I’ve had it numerous times in my life and only tried it at five different restaurants across the country. Four out of five were good experiences, so I do know what bad can be like. This is one of the better experiences. Inexpensive bowls of Phở offered in variety. I went all in and decided to go with the combination. My niece is a phở-natic and opted for hers with beef.(FYI those on a Gluten free diet or GFCF lifestyle can enjoy Phở without problems so long as you know they also do not use MSG.) My combination Phở had all kinds of meats in it so each added it’s own flavors to the broth. I hadn’t added anything to it yet and it was splendid. Noodles, meatballs, meats, veggies, everything was slurptastic. Towards the end of the bowl I went typical and squirted in the usual amount of Sri racha hot sauce which got the free breathing party started. If you’ve never had Phở and are experiencing a bad cold with bad breathing, you ought to have Phở with a dose of the red rooster hot sauce. Mad good. I was joined by bro and his wonderful kids. Since living the Texan life they have been enjoying a lot of good Phở around here. They usually hit up a spot up the street but being the recent holidays, their usual place was closed on New Years day. The other place has a lady which interacts a lot with little kids. Here, the staff interacts with you just enough. A few more smiles and warm conversation could win over the kids in future visits. For me, an adult, I was fine. Good Phở, decent prices and Vietnamese programming on the boob tube. Dinner served in under twenty minutes and fed two adults with three kids for under $ 36 bones with leftovers to enjoy tomorrow. FYI, whether you check in with the mobile app or look on the restaurant’s Unilocal page they currently offer a gift certificate on sale with a bonus to the consumer. I could have purchased this on the spot and benefited from it’s use but service and food was perfect for the price and plan to check it out again. Next time, I’ll check them out again at regular pricing.
