Days Inn Arlington Pentagon

For sure one of the best Days Inn I’ve been to. The hotel itself is beautiful! The staff are all very friendly and are always checking in asking me if I need help when I’m walking around the hotel. Very great place to stay at.

Location is good, restaurant is fantastic, but the facility is atrocious and the low price attracts an undesirable crowd (see links above). It’s worth spending a few more dollars, folks.

I really was just looking for a decent place to crash, not too expensive, that was close to the sites in DC. I was arriving late from the airport, so I really didn’t need much more than a bed and a shower, before heading out to tour the city in the morning. Only stayed one night. It was fine for my needs. The motel is dated/​run-​down, but I think it is currently under construction. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was lacking… there was yogurt, some sort of weird seedy granola, bagels and coffee, maybe cereal, I can’t remember.
However, if I were staying longer, I would not have chosen this motel. I didn’t feel like my stuff (computer, etc.) would be safe if I left it there while I was out touring the city. If I were alone, I’m not even sure I would have stayed there overnight. When we arrived, it appeared as though someone was living there, they had already decorated for Christmas with wreaths and lights on the balcony area (early November) and there was quite a bit of traffic through there.

Horrible condition of the entire facility — especially of all three rooms that we were transferred to– one after the other. The condition of this hotel is just deplorable. Unfortunately what’s worse than the condition of the hotel is the ownership /​staff of the hotel. That is if you can even call this deluge of mismanagement a hotel. They should lose their license to rent rooms. the staff was incredibly rude to my spouse and I. In fact they were rude at just about every opportunity they possibly could be – they even would go out of their way to be rude to us. We are a gay male couple, clearly they had a big problem with that. That is the only conclusion my spouse and I can come to as it relates to there violently nasty behavior toward us during our stay. I have never spent time in prison, however from what I have seen on television, most prisons are in better shape with their facilities, and with their personnel then this horrible Motel.

This is a motel, not a hotel. The staff was friendly, the room was super cheap. I had additional discounts so I believe the total with taxes came out to $ 73 for a Saturday night or something, unbeatable for a 10 – 15 minute über ride to DC.
The rooms were clean, however in drastic need of some updating. The kitchen area: sink, table and chairs, and spacious fridge are pluses if you are planning on a extended stay. The biggest disappointment was the TV, really old, fuzzy picture and half the buttons on the remote did not work.
Parking is free, another huge plus. There is also a 24 hour McDonald’s right across the street for late night snacking.

All basic stuff in the room (laundry, microwave, fridge) and good breakfast. Friendly staff. Thats good enough!

The hotel is kind of close to DC Proper (maybe 10 minutes away) depending on traffic. The actual room was clean but it is pretty outdated. The hotel offers a «continental breakfast,» which was rather disappointing because it was a loaf of bread, coffee, and yogurt. The jams tasted expired. There are some decent restaurants however within walking distance down Columbia Pike. The maintenance was extremely nice, and was very willing to clean or help with anything we needed. They say you get free local calls but our phone didn’t work in our room. It was an ok experience for our first time traveling to DC but I’d recommend updating this inn to attract more tourists.

As a woman traveling alone I found it to be unacceptable and switched hotels the first night.
It’s next door to a motel – apparently owned by the same folks. Their advertising says they have a pool. No they don’t — you must walk through the parking lot, down a street shared by both to the motel’s pool.
I even saw an arrest outside the motel.
The lobby and halls are nice. The rooms smelled of urine (I asked to move). I was completely freaked out. They did refund my prepaid money, for which I was grateful.

We were looking for an affordable place to stay in Arlington with breakfast included so we booked this Inn. We walked towards the Inn and noticed groups of people gathering in the parking lot in what looked like a sketchy manner. We checked in and took an old elevator up to our floor. Opening the room, we found a bed that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the last person slept in it; there was literally the imprint of someone’s head on the pillow. The bathroom and kitchenette were disgusting. It was completely outdated and not clean. As we booked through
, we called them and had our money go towards a much nicer hotel in Ballston. We checked out of this place within an hour of arriving!

Great location. In staying a the Richmond VA West Broad St location. That this Day’s Inn the best in service. and Helpful in getting there customer in the room they have. Wheel chair ramp for the ground floor. If you need something from the breakfast they will help in getting it to your room. I still give this place a five star.

Yuk. Staff nice. Place is dirty. My room was by the Asian in-​house restaurant which kinda grossed me out. The bathroom was BAD. The sink had «the» hair in the sink. Nice curly hair. Tub had mold mildew and rust. BUT. You can survive this hotel to be close to DCA. McDonalds across street. Free breakfast and wifi.
