not sure what everyone is raving about, my pizza was $ 14 for a two topping medium, and I honestly regretted it afterwards. I forget what I ordered since it wasn’t memorable, and I only gave it two stars because they did actually use the brick oven to cook my pizza, so that was cool. the taste however wasn’t great, and maybe it’s just me being a cheap college student, but I won’t be coming back.

Hands down the BEST pizza to be had in the Metroplex, possibly Texas… One of the top pizza restaurants I’ve ever eaten in nationally. Exceptional everytime. They offer a full menu, which my wife orders from and loves, but I can’t get past the pizza. Simply the best. Family owned and operated, the entire staff are friendly, courteous, and professional. Don’t forget the tiramisu!!!

Corkys Special = Pure Heaven! And this coming from a Chicago native who appreciates good pizza! They never disappoint.

Amazing brick oven pizza. I tried the Corky’s special and was impressed. Lots of yummy toppings and cheesy goodness. They also have a very friendly and helpful staff. I have had better pizza before but they have a nice location and all around some winner food. I will be returning!

The ONLY reason they’re getting two stars and not one is because their pizza is delicious. The staff is mostly helpful but, I’m disgusted with the owner(Nick) and here’s why. My boyfriend worked there for years. He was let go due to being 30 minutes late(he thought it was the wrong day), then later on Nick calls him to ask him for help! You don’t just tell someone, «We’re done,» and then ask them to come back when you realize you actually gave up one of your best employees and seriously need the help. My boyfriend once had to take me to the ER and Nick asked him for MY medical records or a doctor’s note(I don’t work there). COMPLETELYINAPPROPRIATE. On top of that he’s asked for other things from us like a copy of our lease for the apartment we moved into. Nick, you don’t control me, you don’t my boyfriend’s life, you don’t control your employees lives(except your poor wife and son), you don’t control a lot of things. You’ll be a much happier person when you accept that.

I’ve been coming here since high school. I spent my senior year hanging out at lunch here. 13 years later I can say that Nick, Michelle and family still have it going on! Best pizza in town! Mouthwatering! Thanks guys!

My husband and I differ on pizza styles. We take turns choosing where we order pizza. Corkys is my husbands favorite and, I have to say it’s pretty good! I’m giving it five stars because the service has always been great and we’ve never had a problem with our order being wrong in any way. When my in-laws are in town they prefer Corkys.

I Drive past this place all the time I’ve been staying over here a Year and said I was going to go in there so I happen to stop by yesterday and try it out. I got a personal size pizza with four toppings and extra cheese it came out to 11 and some change kind of pricey but believe me when I tell you you get what you pay for all of the pizzas are thin crust and I inhaled that whole pizza and did not even come up for air it was GRAND!!! If I ever order any pizza again I will only go here it was fast service the people were very friendly and you do pay a little more but it’s worth every bite I promise you you will not be disappointed definitely worth your dime!!!

As a Pizza restaurant, this is what it is all about. They do it well. I did not check out all the pizza offerings, but everything I saw was thin crust. Fortunately, that is what I like. Except I eat pasta on Friday nights to carb up for cycling. Lynelle ordered the pizza and was satisfied with it. A side salad for $ 3 is questionable value. Styrofoam plate with the salad covered with cellophane served with a little personal container of Ken’s dressing. These are kept in the refrigerator ready when needed. I had the lasagna since the spaghetti with marinara sauce with an option of chopped meat balls just did not sound right. The marinara sauce for the lasagna was possibly the same pizza sauce. Although we found the meal delightful, we have other preferences. I ate a couple of the leftover pizza a couple of days later and it was still good.

OK… here’s some«New Math» for ya’: The atmosphere and décor in this place is very average and the prices are high($ 17.51 for a small pizza and a fountain Coke, tax and tip) and the crust was burnt. So, why in the world did I give them five stars??? The pizza: un-effing-believable! Wait, David… you just said«the crust was burnt»! The pizza is cooked over an open fire in a brick oven so if you have to burn the edges of the crust a little in order to get the bottom crisp, then do it! I had The Mediterranean: olive oil, garlic, mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes, black olives, green olives, artichokes, feta cheese and pecorino romano… and lots of all of it! Service was great. Friendly hostess(I think the owner) took my order. Pizza was done and brought to my table in less than ten minutes! And it was absolutely the best pizza I have ever eaten… ever! Gonna have to come back and bring a date and order a sauced pizza. Note: its BYOB… so I’ll BMOB when I do.

We’ve lived here for two years and were looking for a new place for dinner. The pizza was good and were left satisfied and happy with the price. Interesting fact: noticed patrons bringing in small personal coolers. Apparently this is a non-alcoholic establishment, but you can BYOB. I saw a table with their own beers and another with wine and wine glasses. Interesting.

First visit, loved the pizza. It could have been a bit warmer when served. Time to receive our food was spot on with other reviews. The staff was friendly. I am sure when they get busy it can get a bit overwhelming for them. Lots of people coming in and out for takeout. The smell in the restaurant was wonderful, not sure I have ever really noticed a smell that much before. Loved it a lot, it will be my new go to pizza place!

The cheese pizza is awesome! I’ve eaten here several times and I’ll absolutely return and continue to mention Corkys to people! Yum!

I do love the brick oven pizza taste at this place. However, I have to play devil’s advocate here. I would have given it a 5 but I don’t want to steer peoples’ expectations that this place is «one of the best». I also want to review it from an honest perspective. It’s worth trying for yourself without my review. Your pizza experience really depends on whose making the pizza that day. It does taste great when its not mostly burnt. A little toasty/burnt on the crust is understandable because its baked via a brick oven but yeah if a certain ‘skinny gent’(don’t want him to get him in trouble) is working that day, your pizza will be a little more than just toasty. Ha, ha. The parts that are edible is actually wonderful. But overall you can’t completely fault a restaurant for the pizza artisan that doesn’t have great instinctive timing… the pizza is still fantastically wonderful.

Pizza was exactly as anticipated from a brick oven. Small pepperoni with extra sauce had plenty of toppings and it was appropriately hot and reasonably fast. Not crowded, short wait to order at the counter. Slight negative that is just temporary: they’re switching from Pepsi to Coca Cola and thus were running out of fountain drinks, so I was stuck getting a can of dr pepper and a cup of ice for $ 1. On the other hand, their drinks are priced at $ 2 with only 1 refill, and the cup perfectly held the full 12 oz can, so it was kind of a wash. Other downside was being charged for extra sauce which I’ve never experienced before. But overall, positive experience because it was very good pizza.

Just moved to the area, went to check this place out on Thursday night with my fiancé. Small crowd when we walked in but many were obviously return customers. This is a BYOB location and many customers had coolers with them. We will remember that for next time. The Asst. Manager Samuel was very helpful in walking us through the menu. We ordered the Corky’s Special to share and we’re not disappointed. The outer crust was crispy with the inner portion remaining softer. The toppings were plentiful and slid off easily. This was a fork & knife pizza for me, but I didn’t mind that in the slightest. The wood-burning stove was a neat touch. Very tasty pizza and we will certainly return!

Great thin crust pizza done in a wood fired brick oven. There are some imaginative combos for you to choose from or build your own. It’s your typical pizzeria ambience, checkered tile floor in a strip mall, but the food makes it special.

Driven by this place for years and never stopped by. Had to change that finally. The place is like an old school pizza joint. Not much to the interior but it’s not a knock on it, just wish the tables were bigger. Each table seats two people, putting a pizza on it plus plates and drinks is awkward. The food: we ordered the toasted ravioli which had good seasoning and didn’t need the marinara but it was good as well. Slightly overcooked but it was good. We had the Corkys special which was a good pizza cooked properly. Good char on the crust but not overly charred. I’ve had better wood fired pizza but it’s not bad, especially being so close to home! Give this local joint a shot!

The pizza here was really good, better than I expected! It was a little on the pricey side but I’ll definitely return. The staff here was friendly and the service prompt. If you like«Brick Oven Pizza» then you should try this place out.
