The sandwichs here are great. We got the chicken parm, and the Italian sandwich. Although, the man working did not want to call it an Italian, it was called the supreme sandwich or something like that. The bread was pretty good, and it had plenty of meat on it. The pizza was alright– there was a little too much sauce on it, and it was not cooked long enough for me. I like a new york style pizza that crunches when you fold it in half to eat it. This pizza was just kind of undercooked and sloppy. I will say the guy who runs the place is definitely a hoot. Always an interesting experience when I call in my orders.

Best NY style pizza in the area, maybe DFW. The pizza is great with the lots of toppings and cheese and the right amount of grease. Subs are tasty. The guy who runs the pace is a hoot.

I guess I’ll have to stick to the pizza. I had a Philly cheesesteak for my most recent visit, and it was too salty to even eat. Maybe it was a bad day for the owner/cook. He was attending to everyone and everything by himself and being overwhelmed by that showed in the sandwich I was served. I’m unsure if or when I’ll be back. The prices have gone up, but the quality of food has not changed. So sad.

when I heard about this place I had to try it. I ordered an Italian beef and Chicago hot dog. I was wondering why it took forever so I started to watch the owner kill the Vienna hot dog by grilling it along with the bun. awlful! you steam the bun! then the Italian beef was also grilled on sub bread with cheese and lettuce. forget this place it is disgusting! NOTCHICAGOSTYLEATALL!

Over the last couple months since my first visit Joe’s has become a regular standby for my husband and I. We still love Corky’s but the two pizzas are very different and serve different pizza cravings.(And boy do I get a lot of pizza cravings) The XL pepperoni and black olive pizza is NY pizza perfection — loaded with cheese, perfect amount of grease, a super flavorful and robust sauce… mmmm. We eat a bit, take it home and eat leftovers for a couple days. We have been doing this so often the owner told us we come too much: D Maybe he’s been speaking to our doctor? J/K My son really likes the meatball sandwiches as he’s not as big of a pizza fan. They are huge, would easily two meals for me, and the meatballs are very tasty. The owner is a fun guy to get to know. We’ve had some really great lunch time conversations. We ordered delivery once and the pizza we got was just as good as what we get for dine-in. I’m bumping my rating to 5 stars because once I ditched the sausage I didn’t particularly care for, my pizza has been perfect and oh so addictive!

I ordered $ 40 worth of delivery and the pizzas were unsatisfactory. The large was soggy in the middle and the toppings slid around while in route. The small was too big for the box and the crust was folded over and smashed on one side(see pictures). I talked to the owner and he would not give me a refund. He offered to send another pizza but my family was hungry and did not want to wait. I gave him an extra star for effort but I feel like the customer service is lacking.

I ordered pepperoni the first time and it was descent. Second time i ordered was spaghetti with meatballs and a gyro. Gyro was ok but spaghetti wasn’t good at all. Tasted like it came out of a can. I couldn’t finish it. I only ordered here because they deliver late to my workplace late at night since i work over night. Be warned, instead of charging a delivery fee, they charge you double the tax.

Great place for pizza! The pies are huge. The customer service is always good. I’ve been going here for years and have never been let down. If you haven’t stopped in and tried it stop in next time you’re in the area.

We have ordered from Joe’s many times. The Sicilian pizza is the best thick crust around, and they make an awesome, overstuffed gyro, everything is always so fresh! Their delivery is fast and efficient as well. The Sicilian sauce has a vibrant, almost spicy, punch to it. Additionally, the offer huge fried mozzarella sticks and a Chicago style Italian beef sandwich worth putting on your bucket list. The Italian beef is offered with or without jalapeños. Just be warned, joe’s doesn’t go light on anything including those peppers. If there’s a downside to the sandwiches, it is simply that the bread sometimes can’t hold up to all the awesome goodness inside, so consider that when ordering with any for leftovers!

Very disappointed with the Pizza and Chicken Parmigiana(Hero) at this Joe’s. The pizza crust was like rubber, the sauce taste like out of a can, did not have any robust flavor, the cheese is probably imitation. Crust should be lightly crispy, sauce defines your pizza. The Chicken Parmigiana was bland. The bread was soggy instead of lightly crunchy and did not have a good Italian Flavor. They definitely do not deserve the right to hold the Joe’s name, let alone put image of NYC or Statue of Liberty. I do not recommend this place to anyone who knows what pizza is and I will not be going back. My large pizza was cut into 6 pieces. What ever happened to a 16″ 8 slice pizza.

As I’ve always told others, this guy makes the best Philly Cheesesteak in town hands down and is consistent in doing so. The fresh Italian bread alone is chewy just enough when it meets the well seasoned and juicy sirloin with a little crunch at the top next to all that melted cheese. The sandwich also comes with sautéed peppers, onions and mushrooms. For around $ 9.00 it’s enough to feed two. My photo only shows half of the sandwich. I’ve had other cheesesteaks from local competitors which are pretty good, but Joe’s Pizza on Little Rd has the best flavor IMO. His Italian Beef sandwich is off the charts too!

Saw the reviews and decided to try it out for delivery. Friendly service, sadly the food didn’t live up to the reviews. The pizza was overcooked and had a hard crust. Potential but just not great. Ordered the tossed salad and it was good, did like their salad dressing but not worth a return visit. Pricey for the quality.

!!! BYOB !!! BYOB !!! BYOB !!! BYOB !!! We used to eat at Joe’s all the time but for some reason we just kind of forgot about this place. The other day I went there to get an order to take to my Mom’s house for her birthday dinner. We decided to eat in since she was not feeling well. Dang, I’d forgotten just how good his food is. I bought 3 Tour of Italy’s and 2 Chef Salads. I figured this would feed the 4 of us with no problem. The Tour of Italy is lasagna, fettuccini alfredo, and chicken parmesan and the Chef Salad is a HUGE salad with ham and cheese. My family can be pretty big eaters and we had 1.25 of the Tour of Italy’s for 4 of us and barely even dented the first salad. No kidding my mom and brother ate on the left overs for 3 days until the salad ran out. My mom said she finally froze the rest and will have it at another time. This place is not cheap but what you get for the money is ridicules. Great, great, great food. We will be back and not wait so long until next time. Oh, I’m not sure if I mentioned that they are BYOB.

This place is amazing. One of those family owned establishments where the food is amazing. My family has been going here for years. I recommend the Italian beef(dipped) with cheese and hot peppers. Writing about it makes me want to order one right now.. If you are a teenie bopper and live for pizza Hut, this place isn’t for you. If you’re from up north(or at least visited), you will definitely appreciate their subs, pasta and pizza. Baked perfectly and folds amazingly-for cathy

I went in just to grab a slice of pizza and they only had a cheese pizza out, and I wanted pepperoni. He put pepperoni on it and back in the oven. Which I thought was going to be good, until I tried it and it make the crust extra hard and unenjoyable. But if I didn’t do that I think it would taste good fresh out the oven the first time. The slice was huge and that was a plus, and for $ 4 I’m glad it was.

I think Mister M nailed it on his review! I used to go to Wing-Stop next door all the time and decided to go to Joe’s on a few occasions. I’m from Chicago and there’s a sign in the window that mentions Chicago-Style Italian Beef. And immediately I’m thrown off(still before I walk in) because the bigger sign says NY Pizza by the Slice. Confused between Chicago & New York, but still intrigued enough to go in, I take the leap of faith. I’m greeted warmly by Joe, who will quickly make you feel like u are in NYC! He talking, he’s friendly, he has the New Yorker accent, he’s a fast talker. I mention it’s my first time and that I’m from Chicago. He immediately points to the Chicago Style Italian Beef sandwich and says its the best in town. I order with confidence based on his recommendation. The price on the board is something like $ 8. I was the only person in line, there was only one other table in the restaurant occupied and it appeared to be a relative or friend, based on the interaction with Joe and a younger female employee. The food took about 15 minutes and while waiting I realized that a NY Giants playoff game was on and I had forgotten that it had started. Joe’s has a dated TV playing in the corner and to my shock, instead of the Giants game, animal planet(or something of the sort) was playing. I’m sure if I would’ve asked Joe to watch the game while I waited, it would have been no problem, but I didn’t want to inconvenience anybody, especially since Joe was working so hard on that Italian Beef. When he was done, he mentioned that he would also throw in a slice of pizza so I can try it(I didn’t even ask for it) Immediately I thought, «what a nice guy!» I was charged $ 12 and change. Once in the car, I felt like I had been talked into buying a slice of pizza that I didn’t even want. Have to say, the Italian Beef WASAMAZING! So I decided to give Joe’s another try. This time I did not plan on it, just was in the area. I knew the Italian Beef was $ 8 and all I brought out the house was $ 10 on this day. I placed the order, waited. Joe says that’ll be $ 11 and change. I mention that the sign says $ 8 and Joe says«that doesn’t include the cheese». But I was never asked if I wanted cheese or not. The only thing he asked was if I wanted peppers. I looked confused, Joe says«how much do you have?» I said $ 10 and he said the bring the rest next time. But Joe… your sign says $ 8… The couple of dollars didn’t matter, it’s just that it appears as if Joe just charges whatever he feels. 5 Stars for the Italian Beef, 1 star for price inconsistency…

Joe’s is the best pizza I’ve had in all of Texas thus far. I moved from NYC about a year ago. When I walk into Joe’s I feel like I’m back in a local Brooklyn or Staten Island pizza place. They have pizza by the slice, the garlic knots are delicious and come with a free side of sauce that’s worth scraping the bowl for, and the employees keep it real. Joe’s is not«Arlington» chic and that’s exactly why I come back every time. Also, lunch under $ 5 is very reasonable. Too many chains in Texas and not enough support for the guys who mix things up.
