It is chick-fil-a, 5 stars are just enough for a comment — I like the ballston mall location for it is nice and less busy than other places. Also, employees are nice like every location I have been into :)

Chick-fil-A, or should I say, Chik-fil-bae, is the beacon of hope in the pit of desolation this is Ballston mall. I know a lot of people are fans of the Chik-fil-A sauce, but that, my friend, is only secondary to the amazing combination that is honey + hot sauce. Drizzle that lovely fried chicken sandwich with a Texas Pete packet and honey… you’ve got something heavenly on your plate. I will trudge across the many lanes of traffic in Glebe just to stumble upon this tiny slice of oasis in an otherwise barren desert. Chik-fil-bae will never catch me slippin’.

You can’t go wrong with this place. Chik-fil-A is one of my favorite fast food places, and I usually get the number 1 meal.

Why do I go to Ballston mall? You’d think with it being across the street from my place, I’d go a lot. But I really only go for one thing. Chick-fil-A I may not agree with your politics, but I can’t seem to quit your sandwiches. Fries are good too. Mmmm Waffle fries. I don’t know if your polynesian sauce is really polynesian since I’ve never been to Tahiti or anything like that, but it’s good too. One of these days, I have to try your breakfast. But then I’d probably be in food coma mode for the rest of the day. I hope they don’t shut down this location when they renovate the mall.

Chick fil-a is my favorite fast food. I’m impressed at how consistent they are across all chains. Personally, I’m a big fan of their breakfast and even more so their delicious spicy chicken sandwich deluxe. Big ups to this location in particular. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to make sure I’m happy with my meal.

Come on, it’s Chick-Fil-A. Delish. The employees here are very polite and have never missed/mistaken my order. Food and service are both in line with all the other Chick-Fil-A’s I’ve encountered so you can count on that consistency. This Chick-Fil-A is located in the Ballston mall food court so there’s plenty of seating. It’s kind of tucked away in the corner on the bottom level. Would recommend.

You can’t really go wrong with Chick-fil-a’s food, in my opinion. Even if they screwed up my order, I’d gladly eat whatever I was given but luckily, you don’t have to worry about that in this location. Yes, it’s in a food court in the mall but I find the staff to be extremely friendly — especially two of the guys that I believe are managers — and efficient. I’ve been there many times and have never had any problems. Considering this is within walking distance to my place, it’s nice to be able to go to a great location in an otherwise unremarkable mall to get my Chick-Fil-A fix.

Friendly and fun staff, delicious waffle fries, damn good and juicy fried chicken fillet, customizable menu, and cheap like hell! What else I want to satisfy my craving for tasty food? And yes, it’s 5 min walk from my home so I will definitely go back and try more items!

I went to Chick-Fil-A today around 3:15pm in the afternoon I ordered grilled nuggets and a side salad and a sweet tea with lemon I love their Sweet Tea is the best honestly well when I ordered my meal Yader I believe he is the supervisor or manager was just absolutely awesome, courteous, attentive, hands down made my day. Best experience by far, I was really impressed with the customer service.

Chick-fil-A is always consistent and good. I was skeptical since this one was in a food court, but the food was hot, tasty and served with a smile. The only thing that would make it better is if it wasn’t located in the dungeon of Ballston Common Mall.

Located in the food court of the Ballston Common Mall, this is the smallest Chick-fil-A I’ve come across. It’s kind of in a quiet corner spot area of the mall. This mall has like 4 levels so it can take awhile to find America’s favorite chicken sandwich place on the bottom level. Didn’t want the bread so went with the chicken strips and they were good as most Chick-fil-A’s have a consistent standard. Of course the waffle fries are a loyal side companion. Just a quick cheap fill me up lunch break before hitting the National Mall. Cows recommend chicken.

allright I will admit that I go here for some chicken strips. I would love to eat healthy food everyday but. I know, my craving will kill me one day. Their fries, cold slaw, and fresh fruit cup are pretty good. Just pretend you did not see me here if you run into me.

How I heard of this place: I first heard the name Chick-fil-A when my husband mentioned it on our road trip across country in March. We passed by one that could be seen from the highway, he reminisced about his college days. When he received a coupon for a free Original Chicken Sandwich we decided to hold onto it, for a day when I didn’t feel like cooking, and we needed a quick bite to satiate the hunger for sodium-enriched grease. Type of cuisine: Fried chicken sandwiches, waffle fries and thick, hand-spun shakes. Simple, limited menu, all consisting of fried or grilled chicken with no accoutrements. «It all started in 1946, when Truett Cathy opened his first restaurant, The Dwarf Grill, in Hapeville, Georgia. Credited with inventing Chick-fil-A’s boneless breast of chicken sandwich, Mr. Cathy founded Chick-fil-A, Inc. in the early 1960s and pioneered the establishment of restaurants in shopping malls with the opening of the first Chick-fil-A Restaurant at a mall in suburban Atlanta in 1967. Since then, Chick-fil-A has steadily grown to become the second largest quick-service chicken restaurant chain in the United States, with over 1,500 locations in 39 states and Washington, D.C. In 2010, annual sales were over $ 3.5 billion. Chick-fil-A is still privately held and family owned.» Ambiance: Imagine a food court at your local shopping mall. Imagine in one nook, a bright red sign, set against a white background, in cursive: Chick-fil-A, and the«C» doning the head of a chicken. Plastic seating all around the open, fluorescent lit space, fake plants in plastic containers on pillars. You are now at the Ballston Common Mall Food Court Chick-fil-A. «Recognized as the pioneer in quick-service mall food, Chick-fil-A still considers mall-based Restaurants an integral part of its business. Approximately 334 major shopping mall Restaurants are in operation today.» What I ordered: Wanting to partake of the free coupon we had, I selected the Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich(normally $ 3.09), a boneless breast of chicken seasoned to perfection, hand-breaded, pressure cooked in 100% refined peanut oil and served on a toasted, buttered bun with dill pickle chips. Also available on a Golden Wheat bun. Chris, having the entire menu at his disposal, chose the Spicy Chicken Sandwich Deluxe($ 6.75) as a meal, a boneless breast of chicken seasoned with a spicy blend of peppers, hand-breaded, pressure cooked in 100% refined peanut oil and served on a toasted, buttered bun with dill pickle chips, Green Leaf lettuce, tomato and Pepper Jack cheese. Also available on a Golden Wheat bun. We super-sized his meal(additional $ 0.20) in order that both of us could enjoy the Waffle Potato Fries: waffle-shaped potatoes with the skin, cooked in 100% canola oil until crispy outside and tender inside. And to wash it all down… or push it all down due to its thickness… we chose to upgrade the meal to include a Cookies & Cream Milkshake(additional $ 1.66), hand-spun the old-fashioned way…[featuring] delicious Chick-fil-A Icedream® topped off with whipped cream and one crucial cherry. Sides of glossy honey mustard sauce and watery buttermilk ranch dressing, as well as packets of mayonnaise were also requested by my husband. On a return visit, Saturday, 28 April 2012: We had coupons! So we made our way to Chick-fil-A for a quick bite. The deal: Buy one of the new dessert items, and receive either an 8-piece chicken nuggets($ 3.19) or a chicken sandwich for free. We chose the Brownie Sundae($ 3.19) and the Cookie Sundae($ 1.89) and each recieved our free orders of chicken nuggets. With honey-mustard and buttermilk ranch sauces on the side. What I loved: I most loved the waffle fries, and would return for those at any time! The Cookies & Cream shake, too, was thick, creamy, sweet and full of cookies! Why I loved it: Quick. Simple. No fuss. Conveniently located across the street from our apartment. Cost: Average($ 5-$ 7 per value meal)

5 stars for this chain in general but 3 for this location hence the 4. Although Chick Fil A is my absolute favorite and exclusively visited fast junk food restaurant, they need to improve the quality of the fries at this spot. Soggy, mushy, under salted, misshapen and missing actual waffle shape, and cold. Maybe I just got a bad batch. Customer service is very friendly so ask for fresh ones if you go. And although the new grilled chicken nuggets are healthy and not entirely bland, just get the fried ones or a fried chicken sandwich. You’re at Chick Fabulous Fried Chicken Fil A! I’ll be indulging a bit more next time. Pro-tips: besides the healthy grilled chicken options you can get a wheat bun for your sandwich. But healthy eating here is contradictory because everything will only taste dreamy if doused in Chick Fil A sauce(pretty sure it’s laced with the most addictive substance known to man) or any other sauce aka little containers of pure calorie bombs. Parking at the mall is $ 1 after 6pm. Get any one of the delicious shakes too(the seasonal rotations rock) or you’ll regret it later. The ambiance of dismal, dark, mall food court is undesirable and I don’t remember seeing complimentary table service that some CFA stores provide(e.g. Offering free refills and bringing your food to you, etc). But again, it’s in a food court. I’m not trying to complain since I’m just glad there’s a CFA so close to me. Go enjoy!

This is a great food court chickfila. It is always stocked and clean. The staff is very friendly and no different than the traditional standalone store. I always go for the nuggets, chicken sandwich(extra pickles), or the chicken salad sandwhich and you really can’t go wrong.

Chick-fil-A. God I love you so. From your sexy curvy waffle fries to your nazi youth chicken. It’s soo good, I wanna rebel yell! And this is fast food. In a food court no less! Here’s the thing, they have a Asian Chicken Salad that is only 330 Calories with 29grams of protein. And that folks is a healthy fast food lunch. The second kicker? The chicken is really really good. Chick-fil-A? Rock on. Even though your a privately held company and think you can say whatever the heck you want to the public, try to see all the colors of the rainbow.

Can’t go wrong with this chain. The servers here were friendly and quick, which is the way it should be. When I came here a long time ago, it used to be self serve unlimited toppings. Now you have to ask for which one you want which kind of stinks– I suggest the chick-fil-a and Polynesian sauces :) man it’s only 9am, but now I’m craving their waffle fries.

Chick-fil-A is a decent food court option. I recommend the Spicy Chicken Sandwich(A boneless breast of chicken seasoned with a spicy blend of peppers, hand-breaded, pressure cooked in 100% refined peanut oil and served on a toasted, buttered bun with dill pickle chips) and also the Waffle Potato fries(Waffle-shaped potatoes with the skin. Cooked in 100% canola oil until crispy outside and tender inside).
I also really like both the Chick-fil-A and Polynesian dipping sauces for fries. This place is a quick, easy option in the Ballston Common mall.

Ah, this takes me back. Years ago I used to work on Glebe Road, right near this mall. Chick-Fil-A was always a special treat for lunch. Decided to revisit while back in town and it didn’t disappoint. The service was fairly fast(and they were very busy) and all of the people who work there seem very nice. I have mixed feelings about eating Chick-Fil-A, but it’s some pretty tasty food so when I’m weak and lack the power of my convictions, I will eat there.

If Dan Cathy came out and said that he hated all black people, would I still come here? Yes, because I love Chik-fil-a. (I like this location in general because it’s fast).
