Any location of Chipotle will be busy at all times of the day and this location is no exception. The one difference at this location is that there are ample seats for everyone and I’ve never had a problem finding a place to sit and enjoy my massive burrito. Since everyone knows and loves Chipotle, there’s nothing else to say.

This location is the worst I ever been to. Food taste bad and old. Services is good but food is gross last time I was there I ended up sick.

Service is usually good. It’s a chipotle so you know what to expect, never had any problems

The staff is friendly, remember my order, and occasionally give me coupons to reward my loyalty. …oh, and the food is delicious!

Very disaponting salsa was old and mushy, lettuce was wilted, guacamole was turning brown it felt more like leftovers than somthing just purchased… couldn’t eat more than a few bites… go somwhere else if you dont care for leftovers.

Not the greatest Chipotle location I have been to, however, it is very close to my work place so I eat it pretty often. They don’t give out big scoops of food so I find myself asking for another scoop of a lot of items and a few of the employees act as though they have an attitude when I do. Their gauc also is not the best tasting. It just tastes as though it is missing something compared to other Chipotle locations. TIP: If you can, go when they first open. To me, this is when the food taste the best and the likeliness of the foods and sauces mixing together are slim.(I’m a vegetarian and this is something I have to worry about, especially at Chipotle) The only downside to going at this time is that you risk the possibility of running into the lunch rush. But then again, you could also get there before them and miss it :)

Don’t get me wrong, I love Chipotle the chain, I just don’t like this particular location. If I had never had Chipotle anywhere else, I would have given it 4 stars because, well, Chipotle is delicious. However, this place really does ruin the integrity of the chain. First of all, they are SUPERSTINGY with the portion. A burrito from here always look to be about 2⁄3 in size compared to the one I would get from a different location. I love the corn here, and I swear the people there would give me less than a quarter of a spoon of corn — it is so irritating. And the line is long and fast, so I can’t always ask them to give more corn. The same thing applies to everything else — I wonder if they all were trained to only give a tiny bit of everything… Second, their meat is not always cooked well. A coworker had to return a burrito here because the chicken was RAW. Yep, you read that right, they served RAW chicken! Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because they do manage to get their lines moving really fast.

DONOTORDERFROMHERE. Would give no stars if I could. Literally the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Delivery took 30 minutes longer than they said it would and when I got it it was completely the wrong order. I go through the process of trying to get the right order through GrubHub and they tell me it will take another hour — no, wait! Another hour and a half MINIMUM. I decide to cancel my order. I then find out that they’re only going to refund me 30% of the cost of my order. I call the manager and he tried to pretend that they don’t even take orders from GH! He says that they don’t contract with a delivery company or anything at all and tries to tell me that there’s no WAY I could have food from Chipotle sitting on my counter. I confirm — this is the Chipotle on Wilson Blvd, correct? He says yes. I then try and ascertain why I wouldn’t be getting all of my money. He says he doesn’t know what I’m even talking about. So I call GrubHub again. They get in touch with him, with the result being that the guy isn’t going to give me the full refund because, after all, I did get *some* form of food from them. Save yourself the money and the digestive upset and skip ordering from here.

I love Chipotle and this place is most convenient to my apartment. However I think this location skimps just a bit on the portion sizes. I think they’re consistently busy, so maybe they try to conserve and stretch their supplies? Anyway, no major problems with service and I would say it’s pretty much on par with any other Chipotle you’d visit.

Any time I go to the Ballston Chipotle I am satisfied. However, I arrived today just after noon and came to a very long line to order. Understanding that it is prime lunch time I didn’t mind waiting. I didn’t have to wait long. The line moved very quickly and the workers were friendly and helpful with my two burritos. I was also please my BOGO was honored(I never am sure with the electronic stamp thing). Great job over there! I did notice the ice machine was broken. Uh oh! I didn’t get a drink anyway.

Ordered for pickup and got probably the smallest burrito I’ve ever seen. And no chips. Go to Moe’s instead. This place is awful. Waste of $ 10.

If I could, this joint would get ZERO stars. I went to pick-up an order today that was said to be ready at 11:15am. When i arrived they said it would be a few minutes — having ordered from here before, it’s always late so I inquired about a time-frame…I was told 15−20mins. When I mentioned it was supposed to be ready, she said«Well it’s a large order» as if it was a problem I just gave them $ 2k in business. But had they been honest and just told me they didn’t start making my 270 burritos until 11am, I could’ve saved the HOURAND A HALF that I waited for my order. They didn’t label my burritos(I had some of each protein), pretended they didn’t speak English when I asked their names, LIED repeatedly about what the issue was… AND the manager? Oh yeah — he NEVER spoke to or acknowledged me. He watched me and the two other women who had orders, pace and sigh and become increasingly frustrated. HEDIDNOTHING. To top it all off — we were COMPLETELY shorted on proteins, specifically meats. I counted 6 pieces of steak in my burrito — SIX??? Seriously, SAVEYOURTIME, YOURMONEY, YOURSANITY — go ANYWHERE else.

Decent food. Fast service. Always out of Carnitas but I think all the chipotles are. Since everything is custom I can eat exactly what I want. There is ample seating and it’s usually fairly clean. Good fast food option without fast food feel.

Delish! This is the first time I’ve visited this particular Chipotle, but I’ve been to others around the area many times. Ingredients are consistently fresh and bursting with flavor. Dishes are made to order and the staff assembles everything in front of you. Veggie friendly or meat options available. I always order a burito bowl with lettuce, white rice, black beans, grilled onions and green peppers, grilled chicken, tomatoes, corn salad, medium salsa, crème, and chipotle vinagrette on the side. I can never finish it, so I take the rest home and eat for later. Service is fast and efficient. Clean tables and counters. A fellow Unilocaler mentioned parking is tricky at this location, which is absolutely true. However, I just discovered today that there is a parking lot next door. Pay $ 1 for 3 hours or less, cash only. They will not validate the parking pass inside the restaurant. I will definitely return.

While I generally love Chipotle I recently had a terrible experience ordering from this restaurant with an online order. I asked for a steak burrito and got chicken… i also asked for Sour Cream and got none I also ordered a bowl for my fiancé and paid extra for Guac and didn’t receive it. What is the point of ordering online if no one reads the order? Never ordering online ever again

This location is definitely THEWORST!!! If I can give them 0 star, I would have!!! Always skimps on the portion, we never see enough food in our burrito bowl, instead, a pathetic amount of food. And when you complain, they ask you to pay extra to get a tiny little more. We have been to many other Chipotle around US, and this one is unfortunately the worst. The employees are rude as well!

What a disgraceful burrito bowl. When I tried to talk to the people preparing it too they refused to listen to my complaint. I’m emailing corporate now

Easily the worst Chipotle of all. — Constantly a long line — It doesn’t move because the employees lack worth ethic and don’t care enough to move fast given their industry — Half the time you’re waiting on them to replenish meats/veggies because they don’t have the foresight to grill more when they’re halfway gone — Skimps on portions. Any other Chipotle in the country will give you 150% more on your plate. Wasted my 30 minute lunch break racing here only to find the line all the way around the inside of the building, and it was like 3pm. Employees were getting chatty with the customers and not working efficiently. There are creatures at the National Zoo that could manage this place better than the incumbent leadership.

How I heard of this place: It opened in the University District while I was living in Seattle. I tried it. I found out it was owned by McDonalds. I hadn’t returned… until now. Type of cuisine: Tex Mex served right. «At Chipotle, we aim to do a few things but do them exceptionally well. When Chipotle first opened its doors in 1993, the goal was simple: to serve high quality, delicious food quickly with an experience that not only exceeded, but redefined the fast food experience. To that end, we focus on sourcing the best possible ingredients, serving the tastiest food, and growing the most capable team we can. Good food IS good business.» Ambiance: Rustic exterior signage hangs above the expansive outdoor patio, with few seats taken on this cool evening. Floor to ceiling windows allow passerby to peek inside at the tall ceilings and wooden seats at tables with booths also available to its diners. The walkway from the door leads directly to the order counter, where you watch your food move along from behind the sneeze-guard window, as you choose your favorite toppings and additions to your bowl, burrito, or salad. What I ordered: A salad with half chicken($ 6.45) and half steak($ 6.85), filled with lettuce greens, a touch of cilantro-lime rice, black beans, salsa, cheese, sour cream and guacamole. What I loved: The chunky, fresh guacamole, the bite-sized chunks of seasoned chicken, and the plethora of greens in my basket! Why I loved it: Simple food, prepared quickly, tasting fresh and fully seasoned. Cost: Low($ 6.45 — $ 6.85 per entrée)

The food. Just like any other chipotle I’ve been to… delicious and affordable and great if you’re trying to stick to a paleo diet. A little trickier if you’re doing a whole30 challenge but exceptions can be made. The layout. This chipotle has a seating layout shaped like a horseshoe. There’s booths along the perimeter, low tables in the middle and some high tops along the outside. The service. Fast! Don’t let the long line change your mind… it moves quickly!
