Big Papa Pizza and Wings

This is the worst pizza I have ever had from a delivery pizza place. It is like taking a piece of cardboard and putting cheese on it. There is no tomato sauce and I don’t recommend this place at all. Make a jacks pizza and save your money.

I’ve ordered from here a couple of times. The first two were ok. Wings were edible and Pizza was kind of crappy but not the worst. I ordered because they had pretty good prices. The last two times I ordered from there the food has been 1+hour later than the 1 hour they gave themselves to deliver. One time they called 30 min late to tell me there were here… They were in the wrong building. Took them another half hour to find the right one and the pizza was cold. The last time, and this will be my last order, they were an hour late on the delivery. The delivery guy calls to say he was here, but hangs up. I go down to get the food he is not there. I call Big Papa’s and they say he’s at the front door. Finally get the mess sorted out they forgot the ranch and blue cheese with my wings and gave me the wrong pizza. They told me that the delivery was late because they ran out of wings, but oddly the wings were cold and the pizza was hot… Oh and there was wing sauce over everything they gave us since it spilled.

The best thing I can say about this place is that the food isn’t the worst.
Won’t be a return customer though after the latest experience we’ve had. We ordered a pizza at 8:00 on a Tuesday w/​an expected delivery time of 40 minutes. Nothing about the experience was good…
Our food showed up 2-​hours late. It was cold. It was the wrong pizza. AND the delivery guy is irate when we say we’re not tipping. We had called to complain and were told we would get a full refund but here we are two weeks later with still no refund. Every time I’ve called to speak with the manager I get brushed off and told to call back later. I’ve spoken with the manager a few times and he has been just as rude as his employees. This is a completely unacceptable way to run a business. The only reason I will ever be calling back is to be sure my reimbursement gets issued.
You are better off going elsewhere.

Ordered nuclear wings from here, I’d give it 2.5 stars. It had the kick, but the flavor was a bit off, kind of hard to put my finger on it but I’ve definitely had better. If I’m feeling especially lazy, I may order delivery from here again, but otherwise I’ll get out to First Down or BWW.

Worst order and delivery experience ever. Worst. Worst. Worst. No idea how this place has managed to stay in business. Save yourself the time and trouble. Oh, and their mozzarella sticks are horrible. They also didn’t put sauce on a chicken parm sub. Waste of time and money.

This might be some of the worst pizza you can buy. If you are going to subject yourself to this just stick with one of the major chains; Dominoes, Papa John’s, Vocelli’s etc. The pizza is worse than Digiorno. So just bake yourself a Digiorno and save yourself the delivery fee and tip. The pizza essentially tastes like garlic butter on cardboard. Please trust me.

Pizza tastes like soap (did they steal the OLD Dominos recipe?) and the delivery guy is both illiterate and too stupid to know how to buzz an apartment from the entrance.
First time ordering was my last.

Awesome wings! I’ve had almost every flavor and they are all great. Would be easier to find if they actually put a sign up, but definitely worth a trip!

I have ordered takeway twice from Big Papa over the past month. I found the pizza to be on par with Papa John’s or the like. The crust was a bit spongy and the sauce was pure Ragu’. The cheese did not have much taste, but seemed to be reasonably fresh and was plentiful.
Both orders were accurate and produced in less than 15 minutes. If you are looking for inexpensive pizza, Big Papa will do, but there are much better options out there.

We ordered pizza and wings from here based on the coupons in our building lobby. The pizza was okay. Nothing to write home about. But they got our order wrong, which was irritating. We asked for pepperoni and fresh garlic and we got pepperoni and green peppers
Anyway, the wings were also good, although my husband liked them better than I did. I’m not sure if we will try again, but it wasn’t awful.

Don’t do it!!! Don’t let the coupons entice you! That’s what happened to me!
I ordered some pizza and wings from here last weekend and all 3 member’s of family were extremely sick. I called and told them about it and they asked me what made me sick, the pizza or the wings! What the heck?! Who knows?! We ate both! The manager said they would call me back… and its been 2 days and they haven’t called yet! How much you bet, they never call back. Anyway, word to the wise! Don’t do it! Just go to Papa Johns and be done with it.
