I like this place ok. Typical Baskin Robbins. Lots of flavors. Lots of toppings. And the ice cream is good. But the service is mediocre, after having gotten a little worse in recent months. Last time I went, the girl behind the counter managed to handle the entire transaction from initial greeting to ordering five items to payment all without uttering more than about three words. Impressive, but off-putting.

Used to be very good, but has grown worse and worse. The prices are getting higher and higher and the serving sizes are getting lower and lower. This used to be one of my favorites but now my favorite is the frozen yogurt place a block away. The quality is decent and the service is fair, but for what it’s worth go to the frozen yogurt place instead.

The space is tiny and often packed, and still the staff is able to get my over excited child his ice cream quickly and efficiently. We love coming here!

The portions here have really shrunk. We could not tell the difference between my wife’s kid’s scoop and my regular scoop. I questioned the kid scooping the ice cream, and he insisted I had a regular scoop. I figure he learned from the most senior scooper there this evening, whom my wife and I avoid because he is so much stingier than every other scooper we have had here over the years. The disease spreads… I did not receive my money’s worth tonight(or much ice cream). My wife was also unhappy that he didn’t manage the line well. My freezer is looking like a good substitute right now.

Yeah, it’s your run of the mill BR, and even though it’s often staffed by teenagers, the customer service is still good.

I loved coming here on my frequent childhood visits to Arlington, and I’m happy see it’s still there.

With the proliferation of these stupid cupcake places and«froyo» hippie joints, I would like to boost the places that serve normal, high-quality icecream. I have always loved Baskin Robbins, and when the one in McLean closed back in the late 90’s, this became my go-to ice cream place. Go for the mint chip — delicious. This place also has outstanding and creative ice cream cakes, and much tastier than the carvel brand. Service here has always been friendly and they are happy to let you sample as many flavors as you want. My one beef with this Baskin Robbins? Large groups of punk kids like to hang around here, and sometimes there are long lines that aren’t managed very well. Still, this remains one of my favorite places and their ice cream is awesome!

They’re always out of waffle cones — wahhhh! Otherwise, it’s perfect. This is my childhood Baskin-Robbins and now I live close by again. Get a scoop and walk to the park, you’ll be loving life.

I felt to be merciful and give it 5 stars. What do you expect from a Baskin Robbins? It gave good service even though it was packed for their amazing one day event of 31 cents ice cream scoops. Between my friend and I, our total was about $ 2! The ice cream was fantastic and even though there were a bunch of people trying to take advantage of this event, they were able to serve everyone quickly. The staff was friendly and I have never been displeased with this place. They have many different ice cream flavors and I really liked the Gold Medal Ribbon and Jamoca flavor! Try it out! Gain a few pounds to please your taste buds! ;-)
