I ordered the Maki Combination B. It wasn’t what I expected however, It was very flavorful. The reason why I did not rate 5 stars was because I would have liked more wasabi. The was not enough for 18 pieces of Sushi, even with me using it sparingly(1 tiny drop) it still was not enough to go around. Overall I would definitely eat here again.

We live really close to Asian Kitchen, and it is our GOTO place for ordering chinese food and sushi. They have some great chinese dishes like the shrimp and broccoli and their chicken dishes. But if I had to choose which is better, I definitely think their sushi is better than their dishes. They have amazing sushi: LOVE the green spicy tuna role and the Alvin role. Definitely a great place to order or dine in.

I feel bad for the wait staff, this place is almost always empty it seems, at least when I turn up. The managers don’t seem to realize that folks want a place that smells like food when they come to eat — not the smell of cleaners and air fresheners that they have going on here. If they stopped with the fake-smelling fragrance and changed the radio station the ambiance would be much improved. The food I can’t complain about(my orders were not especially good or bad) — but because of the unnatural smell it’s not a place that I would return to voluntarily.

Ordered delivery from Asian Kitchen and the food was overall enjoyable. I ordered the spicy tuna roll and the pad Thai, not realizing this was primarily a Chinese restaurant. The sushi was really good — proportionate fish to rice ratio, but the Pad Thai did not taste very much like a Pad Thai. It tasted more like lo mein and the noodles were not the typical rice noodles used in Thai cuisine. But that’s my fault for not realizing it was a Chinese restaurant! I would definitely eat here again, though!

My boyfriend and I stayed in on Friday night and were expecting a friend to join for wine and dinner. We wanted sushi and found Asian Kitchens menu. I was impressed by the variety of different types of rolls and other food options. We ordered vegetable, chicken, and shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, lobster roll, spicy salmon and spring rolls. Plus they sub with brown rice for $ 1 extra a roll(normal charge). The food was amazing! However, delivery took well over an hour. The total was about $ 65 without the tip… a bit expensive, but when is sushi not. If you’re looking to order in sushi this is a legit spot, but make sure you have a snack for the wait. I would order from this spot again.

Once my go-to sushi restaurants I feel like the’ve fallen off the last couple of years. I wouldn’t recommend any sushi with tuna. Before they used pieces of tuna and now its some kind of mush/paste substance with a lot of filler. Regardless, its still a friendly neighborhood place to stop in for sushi.

I have never been disappointed. Great selection, reasonable prices, delicious food, great service. Their sushi happy hour is especially awesome! You can get sushi for just $ 1 a piece! Great for someone who is obsessed with salmon sushi like I am

I’ve been here for sushi happy hour and evening dinner. Sushi happy hour is definitely the best time for sushi. I love their salmon crispy skin sushi roll. I didn’t notice any problems with the freshness of any of the raw fish I’ve had. I got to try a ramen dish that wasn’t on the menu and it was delicious. The restaurant made the original ramen with a miso base and another with the curry base, both were great. I prefer the curry base as it was different from other pork ramen that I’ve had. It was a bit expensive $ 15 but I left full and satisfied. I think food quality is there but service is lacking.

The fish in the sushi tasted old, which killed the meal for me. The sweet and sour soup that we used to love here doesn’t taste the same either. They do have a semi-full bar now, so that’s nice.

Ordered General Tso chicken on a whim one afternoon. Got it home and it tasted like fish and vinegar. Won’t be returning to try again. Gave three stars for benefit of the doubt. Maybe other things are OK, but this wasn’t worth the visit.

Yuck, was checking out the website and on the 2nd picture you can see a black hair on the food! If that’s showing their best you can count me out!

Food was OK for a Chinese but the service was bad. The waitress seems to have some other work and don’t pay attention to the customers, given the place was almost empty on a Sunday night. I ordered a egg drop soup and they gave a very old noodle along with it probably someone would have used that noodle before… Asked for a replacement and they changed it.

I used to come here all the time. But moved away and am not just back for the first time in a few years. Something is different. Another Unilocaler says they changed owners. If that’s true, it makes sense. Sushi is still solid but super unfriendly atmosphere. Not rude, just extremely blasé. The formers owners and their staff(family?) were so warm and friendly. I miss that.

Good food, we normally get delivery, my favorite is the panang curry. We have only gone in to eat a few times and the drinks were pretty weak and service wasn’t great. This place is NOT very kid friendly, especially not at dinner time on a Friday night lol. I think we will stick to carry out.

This is my favorite sushi place in Arlington. It’s convenient, fast, fresh, and DELICIOUS! Love it!

Gone down hill with change of owners! This used to be our favorite dinner place in Falls Church. We probably ate there 3 times per month when they opened a few years ago by an energetic and attentive family. The owners were always there, asked how things were, and took comments constructively. Since new owners/management about a year ago, it has slowly changed to routine and now worse. Changes: they seem to use prepacked foods more! The dumplings are solid with a thick dough — not freshly made, light and tasty like the former days. The sauces also seem bland and not freshly made or seasoned well. The sushi is still very good. Many of the main dishes though are overcooked or undercooked. I even had a lobster tail which was still partially cold from being frozen!!! Went back recently, after a break of a few months, and it was still bad. A real shame to loose a formerly well run family place that was consistently good.

I got the bento box for lunch. It was okay. Nothing really to run on a long Unilocal review about. It has a nice interior, and it serves both Japanese and Chinese food. Service was good.

Ordered here months ago and it was fantastic. Ordered from them again tonight and am very disappointed. Tom Yum soup(sick, so this was the main reason I ordered) was pretty tasty — very light on chicken but that’s not all that unique to this place. Pretty OK here. Then the disappointment begins — Kung Pao chicken is *I think* chicken. Chopped, low quality dark meat, in a sauce… not real sure this is Kung Pao. Only seen one peanut so far. Will update if I find another. Next up, orange beef — which is listed as a specialty, btw. More promising looking meat quality so I commence eating. First piece, hmm this is ok. Second piece, hmmm why is this beef so hard and chewy? Still am not sure what I was chewing on. Looking at it on my plate and I no longer actually want to know. Did they fry a piece of washcloth??? Brown rice was also OK. So rice + soup is safe if that’s your jam. Side note: service on the phone was also very rude. Again not abnormal for takeout places and wouldn’t on its own garner such a low review. I am willing to deal with some gruffness for amazing food. Packaged up with this experience = PASS

Sushi delivery with shrimp fried rice is my go to. Sushi is average but the fact it gets delivered to your front door is a win. I typically get the Hairy Mexican roll and another specialty roll depending on what I’m craving. I’ll order sesame chicken every now and then and thought it was better than norm. However today I went again and thought it tasted different. I think it went through a management change. Not that it’s bad, I just think it tastes a little different.

I liked that this place delivered to my work. I didn’t like that the pad Thai turned out to be peanut butter noodles with chicken. Springs rolls were bland. They also delivered the food without silverware, napkins or a sauce for the spring rolls. No, I would not order from here again.
