We visited the clinic in this Walgreens the evening of January 5, 2016 and saw a blonde female with glasses. We proceeded to tell her the symptoms which was fever headache chills and cough. She automatically said this is not a sickness this is a head injury and we need to go to the ER. Mind you she just took temperature, didn’t check lungs ears throat etc… we were in and out in two minutes so I said F that and went to CVS in rolling meadows which we were diagnosed with bronchitis, start of pneumonia and an ear infection. Not only do I not recommend this clinic but would love to have a few words outside with that incompetent female! They need to reevaluate their nurse practitioners and physician assistants!!!

I will never go to this take care clinic ever again. The so called nurse said I had strep and no ear infection. I went to my dr the next day and I did not have strep and do have an ear infection. Plus they overcharged me for my co pay. Their nurse wanted me to take 2 antibiotics at the same time. The pharmacist and my dr said don’t. Theres even more but this was the worse part

I will never shop at Walgreens again after the situation I had involving a manager at this location and lack of action from corporate and the store manager. Without giving details away that would make it obvious to management, the«manager» threw a license at my friend while we were attempting to make a purchase that he declined. There was no reason for the decline of purchase and he refused to tell us why and made a scene in front of other customers. It was the most disrespected I have ever felt by someone in a service position. It does not surprise me to see other reviews complaining about management.

In addition I am disabled and employ a service dog. Store manager mark was not satisfied with the Service animal patch on my dog. He wanted Certification, despite me telling him in accordance with U.S. Dept of Justice and American with disability Act Federal law, no certification is required. The manager is allowed 2 questions; 1. If I am disabled 2. How does the service animal assist me.

This is our local Walgreens. Use the drive through to get your prescriptions or stop in to get some Nyquil and Chicken Noodle Soup when you’re sick. Always super conveniently located the Walgreens has a lot to offer at a slightly higher price than your local grocery.

This location is probably one of the best Walgreen’s ever. A few months ago I needed an rx filled and they were out of what I needed. They not only were able to transfer my prescription, but also cheerfully(I kid you not) found my rx at another location that was easy for me to find(bc I’m not super familiar with the area). He even gave me directions(which was way above the call of duty)! I wish all pharmacies were this nice and helpful. :)

So fresh and so clean. That’s all I really wanted from my local Walgreens, and this location delivers on those fronts. Expect a cornucopia of well-stocked merch, friendly employees and fairly speedy pharmacy folks. Plus, the location is just off the highway and super close to other necessities around town. You can even snag a RedBox movie on the way out. And if you need a flu shot or run into a low grade fever/sore throat/ear infection, there’s a Take Care Clinic on site. High five, Walgreens!

It’s a Walgreen’s — -but it’s not just any walgreens. The pharmacy staff saved my life, twice. Two separate doctors wrote me prescriptions for a drug that I am extremely allergic to. It helps that they are very helpful in selecting OTC’s for minor illness and injuries, extremely punctual with refills, and very friendly.
