I had a great time at this place. My husband and I came here with some friends a couple of nights after we got married. Everyone was very friendly.
Drinks: fair prices and cold beer, can’t beat that!
Décor: a couple of notches above a dive bar, lots of tvs, casual dress
Crowd: mixed, which is good
Obvious favorite football team: Packers, as a BEARS fan, that sucks.
I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good time and get a little rowdy.

Went in here on a Saturday night, maybe after 10:00 and there were maybe 15 people in the whole place. The bar is really long and they do have a lot of huge screens but I was totally not impressed by the staff — maybe they thought that it was a really slow night they could serve drinks at a snails pace. I don’t know. Just not the atmosphere I’m into, that’s all.

I was in Appleton because my wife had a Sunday conference. I was forced to kill 8 hours on a Packer Sunday. I wandered into the Bad Badger at kick off and flopped down om a stool. The entire wall behind the bar was 10×40 feet of televisions. Every game televised was on and I had a front row seat. The bartender was excellent and made my day better. The people watching the game were a bit like a family. They invited me for some free food that someone’s mom had made. It was a greatplace to watch the game with very good people.
Thank you Bad Badger for making my alone game day not so alone.

Great place to watch any and all sports on their video wall or their 17 — 42″ flat screens. Fun staff and plenty of choices when t comes to tap beers or cocktails. Easy walking distance from any hotel downtown Appleton.
