Uptown Cheapskate

Wonderful experience! I have honestly never received such amazing service! I walked into this store 8 months pregnant looking for a dress to wear to my baby shower (which is a tall order). Sabrina immediately helped me, finding outfits that could work with my changing body, and continued to check up on me in the dressing room and find and bring me more outfits that could work. Meredith gave me insight about clothes, and helped me pick out outfits, helping me stay upbeat and feel great about being pregnant and having a larger body. Both of these ladies helped me to have a positive shopping experience where I was able to find outfits that worked with my body. Honestly if I had not received such amazing service I would have become very disheartened with my changing body and would have become frustrated but these ladies did an outstanding job and provided wonderful service to the whole customer, body and mind. Thank you so much!

Poor customer service. I enjoyed shopping and selling here, but will not be back to this location.

I just brought in some items so I’m waiting for them to look thru them. But, other uptown cheapskates are only doing store credit… I think that’s wrong. Obviously, we are all trying to sell things to have extra money for the holidays. They called shortly after and u got $ 18 cash for my clothes. It was a way better deal than anyone else. Or any other Uptown Cheapskate. They are fast, friendly, funny and easy to work with. I’m so glad I came here.

Uptown Cheapskate is probably the best consignment store I’ve ever found (and I shop at a lot of consignment stores). The prices here are almost always reasonable at around $ 5-​$ 20 for most stuff including dresses, shirts, shorts, pants, and shoes. The store is very clean and not overly cluttered like many consignment stores I’ve been to. They have a wide range of sizes and they organize everything very well. Arguably the best part of the store is the sale rack. I once bought four nice shirts for under $ 4 and 3 pair of jeans for under $ 10. Overall, Uptown Cheapskate is the best consignment store in Cary and around it because it has clothes to fit a wide variety of styles, cheap prices, and a clean and well organized space.

This is MAYBE one step up from a Goodwill. Most of the brands in there were not «uptown» at all. A lot of Gap and lower end brands. Many of the things looked like they had a lot of wear to them and I didn’t see anything in there that was in fashion now. A thrift store has better prices and you may even find some better stuff in there.
