my wife and I had a great experience at sleepys today on black Friday we knew what we wanted and came in to see what their prices were. I said what mattress firms price was and they immediately gave me a much better deal on a temperpedic and extras without having squeeze a good deal out of them. crystal was straight forward and nice. we will definitely be back for extras and let our friends know about them.

Wow! Excellent customer service! My husband was in and out within 20 minutes and got an amazing memory foam queen mattress for such a great price. We also got free pillows with our purchase that are so comfy. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We had an outstanding experience at Sleepy’s in Apex. We were looking to purchase 3 mattresses to take home with us today. I called ahead to check on in stock availability and spoke to Crystal. She was professional and informative and told me they had several mattress choices that were in stock. When we arrived at the store Crystal greeted us and I mentioned that we had called and she remembered exactly what we wanted to look at-2 twins and a queen. We were purchasing the mattresses for our son that is in the Air Force and will be relocating overseas. We told Crystal that we had a tight budget as we were trying to help him outfit an entire apartment. She brought us to a selection of mattresses that were in our price range and was available for questions but gave us space to talk and make a decision. We purchased all 3 mattresses and Crystal did everything she could do to help lower the price for us, including a military discount. I highly recommend going to Sleepy’s in Apex! I can’t say enough about our positive experience!

My fiancé & I went to Mattress Firm & Sleepys today to look at getting a new mattress. We had a good experience at Mattress Firm but decided to also check out sleepys. The salesman, Todd, at this store is so pushy & rude. We did find a mattess we liked & told them we needed to think it over, he would not take no for an answer. He kept on & on & eventually told us he could save us $ 1800, we told him we appreciated it but still needed to think about it. He kept on running his mouth & just being rude. I’m in sales myself & if I took this approach I wouldn’t sell anything. We left & as soon as we got into the car we both said we didn’t care how much money we could save, if we decide to buy, it will be from Mattress Firm! I hope the nice lady working with him is not learning his sales approach!

My husband and I had such a good experience browsing at Mattress Firm(my review is here: ) that I told him we should check out Sleepy’s for a comparison. Boy, was I wrong. A salesman approached us and asked what we were looking for. He took us around to different beds and told us about them while we tried them out. I definitely liked the more laid back sales approach Mattress Firm had(again, read my review). I also didn’t like that Sleepy’s tended to hide their mattress prices. You have to lift up the velcro on each bed to see the price. They advertise their monthly payment price while financing so it looks super cheap. Anyway, we tried out a few mattresses and really liked one. The only issue was it was $ 3500…definitely more than what we wanted to spend. The salesman put the hard sell on and explained how it wouldn’t be much more per month when financing. He then asked us if we knew how financing worked. Yes, I do… I have a mortgage and a car payment. I’m not stupid. I know it seems like low payments, but it was still more than what we wanted to spend. When my husband told him we were just researching mattresses at this point, the salesman responded, «What do you have to research? We have everything here» and then said something to the extent of «If you’re not ready to buy a mattress, then why are you here?» I don’t exactly remember the first part of what he said but he definitely said, «then why are you here?» Wow, rude. Do people walk into one car dealership and decide on a car? Most don’t. Most do their research. He acted like we wasted his time, when in fact we were the only ones in the store. Now, I try not to judge. My husband was in sales and yes… people do have tough times and depend on quotas and such. So I don’t know if that was his situation and he was really banking on our sale, but there are better sales approaches to take. My husband asked if he had a card and he walked quickly away into a back room. We stood there looking at each other like wtf? He came back and my husband again asked him if he had a card. «Nah, just come back when you’re ready to buy» he responded. Yeah you know what? No thanks. We returned to Shawn at Mattress Firm and we found a comparable(if not better) mattress and negotiated it for $ 800.
