Mattress Firm Apex Beaver Creek

I purchased my Tempurpedic mattress from the Apex location a couple years ago and although I love it still and received good service, I never wrote a review. Yesterday, I purchased a box spring from Alfonso and had such a good experience that I was compelled to write a review. This was a pretty cheap purchase relative to all they sell and yet Alfonso was kind and helpful from the first phone call. In person he is a gentleman, explaining the differences between box springs, and helping me make an informed decision. I still checked prices elsewhere but Mattress Firm had the best price by far. Alfonso made the sale easy from start to finish. Then he helped me strap that thing to the roof of my car. He was in business clothes so he risked getting dirty to make sure that box spring was tied down securely. As if that wasn’t good enough, he actually called me the next day to check up on me, make sure I got the mattress home safely and inside without issue… now THAT is customer service. The commission on this sale probably wouldn’t even buy him lunch and yet he treated me with such care and respect. All salesman should take lessons from him. So I definitely recommend the Apex Mattress Firm and also would encourage you to ask for Alfonso!

This is a review of the company in general. The sales person at this store was satisfactory. My issue is with the policy of cancelling an order. I ordered a mattress and frame on one day, and changed my mind the next. So essentially cancelled within 24 hours. I had paid with a credit/​debit card and of course my funds, after approved, were immediately charged. So, to my surprise and anger, the next day when I cancelled I was told that I wouldn’t get it off my credit account for 10 days!!! Now, I’m talking 10 days and now I am hit with interest on the purchase I never got and returned. Called corporate and was told that they have to go through a return policy, which doesn’t make sense since transactions are done electronicly — instantly, duh. So, you have lost a customer for life, and I will spread the word near and far!

Buying a mattress at Mattress Firm at Beaver Creek Commons was a great experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the sales approach which was tactful and to the point. It was our last of four mattress stores visited and will be the only place we buy in the future. Go see Sleep Expert Andrew for a great deal and courteous service. This place beats any advertised price on a comparable piece but 10%. Early Memorial Day sale going on now.

It was time for a new mattress and my body made sure I was aware of it. Buying a bed is like buying a car, you know it has to be done but its always to painful. Not this time, I went to Mattress Firm and met Naomi and she helped change my mind.
She listened to what I was saying, explained the options I had & didn’t try to bully/​cajole into something I didn’t want or need. As a stomach sleeper I had limited options but Naomi pointed out the beds that would be the best for me. I rolled around 10 different beds before deciding between 2 options. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured into making a split second decision so I actually was able to take my time and lay down on each and then make my decision from there.
The mattress & box spring are not only MADE IN THE USA, but they are made in North Carolina. Finally something that hasn’t been outsourced!
Delivery was same day and bwtn 7−10pm, they called 20 minutes before they arrived, brought in the new set removed the old set and all within 15 minutes. 79.00 for all of the above was a very fair price to have someone else do all of that and same day too!
I would have liked to have had a little negotiating, i.e. I would have gladly purchased the King Size instead if the Queen had they offered me a bed frame for free. They could have offered a free mattress pad, pillows or something but there didn’t seem to be much wiggle room with this.
The mattress etc comes with a 100 day exchange/​warranty, so that seems pretty impressive to me. But there cannot be any sort of blemish, dog fur etc on the mattress if you want to exchange for another. There is a «transportation» charge of 79.00.
All in all fairly painless way to get a mattress & box spring. I would have given them 5 stars had they been willing to negotiate just a little bit. Even the car dealership gives you a free tank of gas and a detailing before you get your car keys.
