I really want to give this place 5 stars because I love their blizzards. But tonight I got dinner and a show. Unfortunately, it was a quite economical version of the Rocky Horror(yikes!) A rather hefty, pale and obnoxiously loud female took the lead role. When I take my children out for ice cream after hundred degree weather, I expect a pleasant evening out. Daisy Dukes on a rear end the size of an 18 wheeler and showing her crack is an eye sore to say the least! I added video of this only because, in all seriousness, she was talking to an employee and it was very unprofessional on her behalf. Regardless of the lack of courtesy her friend had for the rest of us patrons, as an employee, she should have put a stop to that. Another customer proceeded to ask for the manager and was told there was none. There was an older lady with«Jane Doe» who also had no regard for the rest of us and was talking to the employee as well. This is a place of business, not an «annoy the community» convention.

The banana splits for under $ 3 cannot be beat! Corn dogs are also . Kinda in the ghetto but have yet to have a problem. Would be 5 stars but they use so much WATER every single night washing down everything outside. Wouldn’t it be okay to just wipe down the tables?

Great place to take the kids for ice cream. They have all kinds of yummy goodies here. Everything we have order has been good. Burgers tend to be a bit greasy. Service here is great at night time. Day time not so much.

We drove here to try the $ 5 buck lunch with cheeseburger, fries, drinks and sundae. On the window, the girl said the $ 5 buck lunch doesn’t come with bacon. I said ok. But when we got the order and sat down, that’s when I noticed they actually have a poster that the meal DOES come with bacon. Thanks! Oh plus, we ordered a meal, a blizzard, a moolate and a smoothie. We were only given TWO NAPKINs… No wonder the tables were all yucky and sticky!

Food here is so good! Kids like DQ’s burgers & fries better than In-N-Out. I’m in love with the chocolate soft serve ice cream. Young man behind the counter is very courteous.

Came here the other day to get the $ 5 lunch for my niece and nephew, what a great deal! You choose from a burger, chicken tenders and a chili dog. Each come with fries, a drink and a nice cream. You can upgrade from the normal soft serve to a blizzard for just a dollar. My niece/nephew got the chicken tenders meal. One got a cookie dough blizzard, the other mint & choc. chip– they said both were really good. Service was good, the person behind the counter was nice and food came relatively quickly.

Since purchasing my home in Antioch 2 years ago, we absolutely love Dairy Queen! Fast, Fresh & always the right price & great quality. I used to only go to Fosters Freeze across the way. Although their good & I don’t have a complaint with them once I started going to Dairy Queen they are our favorite! If I go to late at night the staff is so apologetic if they run out of chocolate soft serve, how can I get mad? I don’t know her name but she is often at work until closing & has shoulder length brown hair. That employee impresses me the most. I am in my forties & I believe she is too. Always friendly! All the employees are great and I haven’t had any problem with the food or service. The only problem I have had is that I recently had to force myself to get a medium soft serve instead of a large, I don’t need my daily habit ending on my bottom! Thank you to all of you working at MYDAIRYQUEEN, your all fabulous.

Ever since this DQ opened under new management, their food has gotten a lot better and is a lot cleaner too. It must have switched fairly recently because it changed pretty rapidly over summer. The chicken strips are always hot and crispy, and the gravy it comes with is solid! The Oreo blizzard here is also an all kill – definitely gonna stop by here more often.

We got our dinner last night, previously we had just tried the various ice cream treats, shakes, etc. The dinner combos were freshly cooked and very good. I would rather get a freshly cooked burger combo here than a precooked burger at a fast food restaurant for the same price. I also like the fact that they accept charge cards, not all small places like this do.

I used to work at Dairy Queen back in 2006 and I really hope they changed the way they sanitized things. To make the blizzards they used a metal cylinder to hold all the ice cream into the cup and then they’d toss the metal cylinder into stagnant water with other cylinders and then if a customer wanted a blizzard, they’d take a cylinder out! It was so gross! Despite that, I will say the hot food served at this place more than make up for that one, really gross flaw. They do make bomb sundaes however.

I only come for the specials, the last time I came here it was so many seedy ppl hanging out, at the tables since there only outside seating, homeless walking up beggin and harassing other patrons. The food is ok, the desserts are good too.

This was my first time going here ans if there weren’t people standing out side of the place i wouln’t have thought it was open. but it was yay! I ordered 3 Blizzards cuz it was mad hot and i had to take it home to the fam so anyway I ordered the lady was nice so bonus points. after about almost 10 minutes of waiting.(felt like forever) i got my melted blizzards it was like they made it and let it sit for a sec. i’m taking back some points for that . Besides that it was cool Iwould go back and it would be cool if they did remodel the place but I feel the old school ‘hole in the wall’ charm of this place.

Some say you can’t go wrong with ice cream, but I can argue that. My whole life I have felt bad for the fosters freeze down the street that wasn’t as popular as DQ, so I went there for a treat. Fosters freeze served me peanut butter and vanilla ice cream in a fucking plastic cup. Like, a glob of peanut butter and and scoop of ice cream. Haha, gross. So, on that note DQ has ridiculously good and cheap ice cream. I have been coming her for practically my whole life! How can you be against a 2 dollar banana split? I loved sitting outside here as it cooled down from hot summer days contemplating what to do for the night with my friends. Seedy little icecream shack!

My kids love and crave the blizzards here so I use it as a bargaining tool when I’m feeling like getting some goofy things done around the house, like… pulling weeds scrubbing the baseboards folding their dads underwear sure, sure, sure, like any strong parent I could«make» them do it, but its nice to offer a treat in return. Especially for the whole underwear thing!

My favorite spot to get some crappy food and an ice cream on a sunny day. I love how they kept the whole«snack shack» theme complete with obsolete chain link fence and broken benches going. I really do feel like I’m in the heart of a drug and crime infested neighborhood and that I may be shot at any moment by being so out in the open here. Definately a family spot. I do enjoy watching the traffic on 18th St though… You never know what to expect out there. Drug deal, shooting, mugging, random homeless guy talking to Jesus.
