MAC Cosmetics

Finally! MAC has wised up and opened a store vs. a counter in Westfield Mall. It’s diagonal from ALDO/​Apple/​Starbucks (where Kay Jewelers was.) Before you head for the door, know it is a rather small store: 2 stations for makeup application (both open & on the floor (But in my opinion, poorly planned; should you be getting make up done and there’s a line, it could be problematic;) and at best 2 very narrow isles made by 2 set ups for product.
That said, it is very likely to be overcrowded, particularly on weekends. So it’s best to go during the week on off– peak hours if you are looking for more attentive service. Otherwise expect to go there and see a mad house (after all people have been waiting for the store for years!)
Not sure too sure about the sales people there nor the artistry; I suspect as it is still new and they will be working out the kinks with staff, particularly dress code. I’m all for fearless but having DDD– F cup breast spilling obnoxiously into peoples face is not attractive, nor professional; it’s just gross.
I’m sure they’ll do business due to brand recognition, but I’ll probably save myself the confusion & racket and order online-​unless in a pinch.
