Pizza Hut

Haven’t orderedfrom Pizza Hut in over a year but thought we would try something new. So disappointed in our order that I will never order pizza from here again. Crust is undercooked, minimal toppings, and just not up to standards of previous meals. Sad, sad, sad.

How does this place stay in business? YUCK!
Ordered cheese lovers plus. After an hour wait it was inedible! There was no sauce on it and so much cheese that is wasn’t fully cooked. Called to have it remade and asked them to back off the cheese a little and asked them to make sure it was done. They didn’t have the extra ingredients and barely any chests or sauce. Called back for a full refund. Won’t try that again.

Not good! Not good at all! Their new and «improved» sauce is as bad as the old sauce. Minimal toppings with even more minimal cheese. The cheese bread appeared to have sat under a hot lamp for a while it was kinda crisp and not in a good way. I would have done better with a frozen pizza. Delivery was slow and they forgot all of the dipping sauces I had ordered, which by the way are expensive. I still keep hoping that their new recipe would take them away from the «dominos death disc», however I was disappointed.

Took an hour and a half, all food was over-​cooked and barely warm. Poorly cut. Horrible horrible. Next time I’ll choose Dominos.

I’ve ordered pizza delivery here multiple times, however I have never been to the store. I’ve never had any issues with my orders from here. The delivery time is on the slow side, but not much to complain about. The quality of food here is the same as all Pizza Huts I’ve eaten at, multiple places across the country. Drivers were always friendly and food came hot.

I’ve gotta pizza from here twice. The first time they lost my order and the second time they were 45 minutes late. Not only were they late but the pizza was very cold, and by cold I mean like it had sat in his car for awhile in the 10 degree day it was yesterday. It honestly seemed like the delivery driver forgot it in his car out on his rounds and after getting back to store realized it and rushed over here. I HIGHLY suggest if you live in Ankeny to buy the cheapest frozen pizza possible before ever getting food from here. If you want delivery try papa johns or pizza ranch. If I could I would give them no stars. They need all new management.

I have had three separate bad experiences, with this place. I gave them the benefit of the doubt after the first two, but after a third one it fell into the «never again» category.
In the latest incident, I placed an order for a future time delivery. They delivered it 2 hours early, well before everyone would arrive at my house. The driver tried to get me to take it but I said no. He told me that I would have to call in to the restuaruant. I did, and they did acknowledge the mistake, but told me that they would not be able to deliver until 45 minutes after my original request time. While I wasn’t happy with that, I accepted it an let it go. Then when the delivery finally did come, it was obviously the original pizzas that they had tried to deliver a couple of hours prior.
I contacted the restuarant through their website in each of these incidents, and not once did they ever call me back. If you give them a chance the best result is an average Pizza Hut experience. Equally likely is that you’ll have an experience like this. There are several pizza places in Ankeny that are much better options than this one.
