So here’s the deal: this is a splurge. It’s tucked into paradise and just as the reviews say, it’s delicious with the BEST ingredients, but it’s expensive compared to other places. We shared the acai bowl. There are plenty of premium, organic, local, high calorie ingredients in the bowl. Also, the service was friendly and helpful.

The acai bowls, smoothies and juices were fantastic! The quality of the ingredients and the service were spectacular. We went to Kauai for a wedding and went to Kalalea Juice Hale the first morning we were on the island. We fell in love with it and ended up going back for an entire week. We got acai bowls from here for the happy couple on the morning of their wedding day and they were over the moon. We stayed in Princeville during our trip and it’s a bit of a drive from there. But it’s on the way the way if you’re driving to the south side of the island to go hiking in Kapaa, Waimea, Poipu, etc. We liked it so much that we drove there just for breakfast and drove back to Princeville. I recommend the King Kong, Next Level(with extra coconut chunks), and the One Speed cold pressed coffee smoothie. Get any one of those and you’ll start your day on the right foot! Negatives include: They don’t exist in California so I can’t get it when I’m at home. All other acai bowls now taste bland by comparison. Otherwise, highly recommend. 6 out of 5 stars.

Best acai bowl on the island! Stayed on Kauai for 9 days and visited Kalalea Juice three times! I craved it every day. I had the OG bowl each time which was delicious. I also added fresh coconut meat. Yum. My sister also got the King Kong, which was equally yum. The toppings are super fresh and the acai is so smooth it’s like ice cream. The ladies who work at the stand are so sweet, awesome customer service. Also! The view of the Kalalea mountains is just gorgeous. Awesome setting.

When visiting Kauai you have your choices of juice bars and we are so glad that that we stumbled upon this one. Be careful though as you might blink and miss it as its tucked away off the road, but located perfectly with a gorgeous backdrop! We ordered the next level bowl(AMAZING!!!), Kalalea love and Tropical Trip. Needless to say you will not be disappointed. This little juice bar has the most amazing backdrop of the mountains… You won’t want to leave! Great selection, gorgeous scenery, and delicious food… We are fans for life!!! Mahalo!

This was probably my favorite place that I went to when I was on Kauai. Kalalea Juice Hale serves the absolute best smoothies you’ll ever have. They also serve the absolute best acai bowls that you’ll ever taste in the world. On our way to Princeville, Hanalei, and the Na Pali Coast area, our host said we have to try this place since it was the absolute best. She was right. It WAS the absolute best. This is the definition of local company that uses local products. They definitely make their smoothies and other stuff using locally grown products in Kauai. They probably even grow the fruit that they use! It’s that awesome. We each had a ninja shot, which was great. I decided to order the Ikaika smoothie, while my friend had The Next Level Acai Bowl, and our host had the Kalalea Love smoothie. Not only were the smoothies delicious, they were filling! I was practically full off of the smoothie, and was ready for another long day of exploring. I also tried the acai bowl my friend ordered. Lets just say. AAHHH-MAAYY-ZINGGG. Seriously, Amazing. Like the best acai bowl you’ll ever try, and you never want to have another acai bowl from any other place again, amazing. The peanut butter, fruit, and honey, matched PERFECTLY with the acai. This is definitely a must-stop place any other time I make it back to Kauai. But seriously, that acai bowl.

This place is amazing. When you think of hawaii, I feel like this is the type of place you automatically think of. They hit all expectations. We came here twice, it is a far drive from princeville, but when on vacation we weren’t in a rush. We really liked this place, and would recommend to anyone. We got the OG both days, which is unreal. It is super filling, you feel good and it is very healthy. And if you like taking pictures of your food, it actually looks really good too :) We got a coconut and drank from that, A+. We got a smoothie, the one with banana, and we added blueberries and mango and PB. Very good. Worth checking out. The other place that is up the road looked good, but near a farm and smelled like horses so this place won that decision.

Fresh sugar cane juice! Finally found it here on kauai. Would recommend getting it straight without the lime juice and ginger that they normally put it, although that’s fine too. Also got a passion fruit smoothie which was good.

This place is delicious! This is my first time to Kauai and feel like many of the shaved ice places are using artificial syrup which is not my taste. This place uses all natural products and REALFRUIT to make their own syrup and it is delicious! I had«The Works» which was coconut and pineapple ice atop the all-natural frozen yogurt with a condensed milk snow cap… it was perfect! They also have a sneaky little cat roaming around outside who would eat your snack if you let her so make sure you hold on tight and eat it all up! Also, the owner was SUPERNICE and friendly.

Wow, I am so thankful to the man at the front desk of Thrifty car rental for telling us about this place. I will never be able to eat an acai bowl anywhere else again because this place has perfected it. Luckily, my boyfriend and I found this place on our very first day so were able to come here at least 6 times. We started off with a smoothie and King Kong bowl but after much research we found that the Next Level bowl was where it was at(plus papaya!). They make their own delicious granola and have gluten-free granola(not homemade but still pretty good) for the gluten intolerant. They also have delicious cold and hot coffee — add some homemade coconut cream to really top it off!

I can’t even deal with how good Kalalea’s Acai Next Level Bowl is. I would move home to eat more of them. I’ve only been once, but I’m sold. I got the Next Level and it was so good. All of their ingredients are fresh, organic and local I believe. Peanut butter, coconut, bee pollen, banana and granola in Acai = true love. I also got some fresh coconut milk from them for a friend. They can’t make large quantities, but they did give me a big cup of it. Friendly and efficient staff. Cute little spot. Love their kolohe kitty ;) Will be back the next time I’m home. First stop. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.

A cute guy from another eaterie in Hanalei that sells acai bowls told me not to order from there and drive to Anahola for the best acai bowl on the island. Given that I have not tried any other acai bowls on the island, I can’t be the judge of that exact statement, but as a general fan of acai bowls, I can say this is a damn good one. I splurged on THENEXTLEVEL which was definitely amazeballs. Great toppings, generous bowl that will fill you up for brunch. Beautiful roadside spot, funny resident cat, and takes credit card to boot. Only way this could be better is if they could kill all the mosquitos, or if the prices were a little lower. but I guess it’s Hawaii.

Can’t think of a better place to give my 200th Unilocal review to. This place was my favorite place to eat on the island, and the acai bowl I had for breakfast was the best thing I ate during my trip. Definitely come here for breakfast or a snack, and if it’s sunny, enjoy your meal outside on the picnic tables. The acai bowl was a perfect breakfast and it was so delicious, I felt like I was eating dessert for breakfast — what more could you want? It’s almost like a sorbet made with acai: creamy, sweet, but not too sweet, and just a little bit of tart. Sprinkle some granola, sliced banana, coconut, honey, and peanut butter, and it was perfect. I could have eaten two of these, but ended up splitting one of them with my boyfriend. It was a light and healthy breakfast, and ended up giving us enough energy when we hiked the Napali Coast Trail for 8 hours(unintended — we should have probably eaten a lot more!) I’ll definitely be back next time I’m on the island; my only regret is not coming here sooner so that I could come again and again. Don’t miss this place or the acai bowl!

I love, love, love Kalalea Juice Hale! We stopped here our first week on the island & just from that first visit we wanted a smoothie a day. That didn’t happen but it would’ve been great. Kalalea Love was my favorite. I didn’t even want to try another kind because K Love was just that good. If you’re a peanut butter fan this is your smoothie. Even if you’re not you should get this. Trust. All the ingredients used here is fresh, local, & organic. The smoothies were my favorite breakfast-lunch & they kept us going most of the day which was convenient when we were too busy enjoying the ocean to find something to eat. The staff was incredibly friendly & they remembered us each time. Service was quick. There’s outdoor, covered seating with a gorgeous view of Kalalea Mountain. You really can’t go wrong here & it’s easily accessible from Kuhio Highway near Anahola. One visit here will get you hooked. It’s a positive, healthy addiction!

Delicious and healthy! The Acai bowl was just as good as the ones I’ve had from Brazil(where acai grows). Friendly staff, beautiful view from the picnic tables(it’s on the side of the road, but turn around and the mountain is right there), and they take credit cards(yay). Highly recommend making this a stop on your way somewhere awesome.
