It’s 90º+ outside. You are visiting Disney California Adventure. A ride on Grizzly River Run sounds good right about now. It’s a 45 minute wait. Plus there’s a height requirement. And Fast Pass isn’t available until early evening. What ever shall we do? We just want to get wet on this very hot day. Why not head over to Flik’s Fun Fair and visit Princess Dot Puddle Park. There you can«run» around a giant sprinkler system and get wet all you want. There’s no line and no height requirement, so the whole family can take part in all the fun. You can get a little wet if you want or drenched, it’s all up to you.

Splish! Splash! This place is wonderful for the little ones on those days filled with an excess of sunshine! They can run around(with shoes on — otherwise, a cast member will tell you to put them back on), and get wet! Who are we kidding? They get drenched. There’s a side that has jumping water fountains. The little ones go crazy for this trying to figure out where the water is going to come out next! There’s another side that has a giant leaking hose that’s a constant stream of water! I recommend bringing an extra change of clothes and shoes if it sounds like you’re little one would be interested in this.

This is a cute water play area in the Disneyland California Adventure’s Bug’s Land for the little(and big!) ones to cool off with refreshing mists and sprinklers. There are also fountains that keep pouring water where you can get completely drenched, if you prefer. I absolutely refused for my daughter to join the mobs of kids out there for months until summer hit and we were at the park on a 108 degree day, so we both jumped under the sprinklers and got a bit wet! It definitely helped cool us off before we trekked further around the park.
