Goofy’s Playhouse

I love that they have a fun, safe and shaded play area for little ones. Even with a grand theme park, sometimes kids just need a break to climb and touch everything! I just wish that there were more spots like this in both parks.
There is plenty for little ones to do, and there are plenty of benches for adults. In true classic Disney style, everything fits with the Goofy theme and there are lots of spots for cute photos!

Goofy’s Playhouse is a fun place for young children (recommended for ages 2 to 5) to play in a pretty safe environment and burn some energy. They can run around, slide and crawl through the small outdoor equipment then head inside where there are large pieces of furniture, an interactive cabinet and «goofy» piano that plays silly noises instead of musical notes.
When my daughter was younger I would follow her throughout the playground and Playhouse making sure that she was safe because it could get overwhelming on overly crowded days with all those older kids running around. The recommended age for this play area is ages 2 to 5, but I have often seen older kids pushing their way obnoxiously through the attraction. Now that she’s a few years older and can hold her own, I can plant myself near the exit of the Playhouse and just give her a time limit. Thankfully there’s only one way in and out, so I know that she would have to pass me to leave the vicinity.

The girls (2 ½) absolutely loved this place. It also gives the parents a chance to sit and rest while watching the kids play on a pseudo playground.
+ no line to get in
+ shaded
+ ample seating (benches) for the tired adult
+ fenced in, so the kids are relatively sheltered
+ has a small slide, a couple crawl-​throughs and space to run and play
— not everyone watches their kids
— it does have a tendency to get VERY crowded

Goofy’s Playhouse is a fun place for kids and big kids to play. I like how imaginative and fun it is. For parents this is a nice place to rest while the kids play. For big kids like me without kids I’ll do the playing, thank you very much. :P Goofy’s Playhouse is definitely work checking out when you’re in Toon Town.

What a great place to take your children to play while you relax. This is sort of a DLand secret because it is the only «park» where there is one way in and one way out. This of course is great for keeping an eye on the where abouts of your little one :)

Goofy’s playhouse is a wonderful place for parents to rest while their kids get out their extra energy… as an added bonus… no lines… just find a bench, eat your snacks that you packed and watch your kids run around in circles…
