Excel Dental

I’m writing this review very late because I wasn’t clear on what was done to my teeth. I’m use to Dr. Vicki but the last 2 times I was worked on by Dr. Frank Pham. At the time, I didn’t think much of it but now I’m pretty upset. He just keeps milking me money from my insurance.
1^st incident, I went to pull my 2 wisdom tooth. Dr. Pham viewed my x-​ray, told me he may not be able to pull the bottom one because it is too deep. He referred me to his friend, the specialist. While I love the specialist, I cannot say the same for Dr. Pham. He injects me with anesthetic first before telling me he cannot pull the bottom teeth causing me to continue with the work. He took out 1 wisdom tooth and gave me antibiotics. Then I went to his specialist a week later and had to endure another week of pain and take another week of antibiotics. I could’ve done it all at once with the specialist and not take 2 weeks of antibiotics and endure 2 weeks of pain. Dr. Pham cannot collect money if he didn’t do any work on me.
2^nd incident, the office called me to recoat my black cavities filling with the new white ones and it is all covered under my insurance. When I got there, Dr. Pham explained he will do the other 6 teeth by shaving down the tooth so he can place bonding material to cover my exposed roots. I kept telling him those are fine, I do not feel any sensitives and it never bother me. He insisted it is bad for me and it will be free because it is covered by insurance. I agreed to it. While he is doing the work, he was training a new assistant. She was terrible and can’t suck the water out of my mouth even after the Dr. kept pointing it out to her. I had all kinds of cuts in my mouth for 2 week. It was painful to eat. At the end, he didn’t even replace my cavities fillings. He said that’s a job for another time. I guess, another claim once he collects enough items to bill my insurance.
This year I went to a new dentist and they ask me who did my bonding, it was a terrible job. They call Dr. Pham LAZY, he did a lazy job because he never smooth out the bonding, there was sharp edges everywhere and will cost me $ 20 to smooth out each tooth.

I went shopping to a few places for orthodontic treatment prices and I stumbled across dr duong through a really good childhood friend of mine. The offices front desk and assistants are more than welcoming, and they really make you feel like you’re family! I decided to go with Dr Duong because she was having a $ 1000 deal off of braces and it absolutely sold me on the price because she also discounts of you pay up front.

Best dental office I have ever been too. The whole staff is so nice. Dr. Frank Pham is sincere and is understand to how sensitive I can be about my smile. Dr. Vicky Duong is the nicest, kindest, and most gentle dentist I’ve ever seen. I have to say that they provide excellent service. I would recommend to anyone in need of a dentist.

Extremely unprofessional. I had an appointment set and left work early to get there. I arrive only to find out that they closed early for the day. I received a missed call but absolutely no voicemail just background noise. I called and asked for the department manager and the person who answered was supposedly the manager. All I got was excuse after excuse and she even told me she called me earlier this morning and left a message. The only call I received left just a hang up message. I understand emergencies happen and sometimes you can’t reach someone by phone but that’s where voicemail comes in handy. I mean you dialed the number, you got the voicemail, and you just hung up. It’s not difficult to leave a brief message saying the appointment was canceled. It is very unprofessional of them and makes me wonder about their business ethics. I definitely will not be taking my business to them and will wait until my new primary dental office takes effect next month to take my business to someone who is willing to offer some type of customer service to their customers. Rating this place ZERO STARS!

Great place. Clean and nice staff. Dr. Frank Pham did a great job on my teeth. I love coming here every six months for my cleaning. Prices are very reasonable. Monica (the doctor’s assistant) was very pleasant.

Ohmygosh you guys this place is dope!
The staff is always nice to me, not only Andronica but everybody else. Everyone talks to me and welcomes me like a family member. I have been going this place for 3 years now because I am wearing braces. LOL I am always a late patient because I live far away but they don’t have attitude when I get there whatsoever; in fact they make jokes why I am late. Come and get that white beautiful teeth y’all!!!

this place should have more reviews… the office staff are awesome… very well organized and great communication. the drs there explain everything needed, possible and recommended. i have no metal fills in my mouth and the bridge they put in is inpeccable. andronica and monica are wonderful in being soooo gentle and kind. they explain and take their time and yteat me wonderful… i would recommend excel to everybody… im a big baby to needles, but their hands are very gentle. painless treatment! kudos excel and thank you for my smile!!!
