The service here has dramatically gotten worse & worse over the years :-( The medium rare filet mignon I ordered for dinner one evening arrived frozen cold in the middle. It was like cutting into frozen meat. It wasn’t a busy week night but my waiter was no where to be found so I bought my plate to the host, who did not apologize but proceeded to explain that it was because I ordered medium rare. The restaurant is also skimpy with bread & water. Each person is served one piece of bread & the waiter takes away the basket. You only get water if you ask for it. This is such a shame — I used to really look forward to coming here in the past. My husband & I won’t come back to the White House now. The Summit House in Brea is much classier with better food & service.

What a great place to hold a small and decent size celebration, in my case it was my friends’ son 1st bday, great space outside for a face painter and photo prop booth. The décor is elegant with white and gold detail.

Food not so great way too overpriced ! Very slow service ! Made reservations for Mother’s Day got placed in a banquet hall with other tables didn’t ask for it and was not informed about that either ! It was disappointing for sure.

This is one of my favorite restaurants that I’ve ever been to. I love the Anaheim White House. The food here is absolutely delicious. I haven’t gotten anything that I didn’t like. I had the braised beef last night and I couldn’t get enough. My spouse usually doesn’t like ravioli, but she got it last night and she totally loved it. That’s how you know it’s good! If you want an elegant dinner where you dress up and have gourmet food, this is a great place to go to. I highly recommend it for dates.

So sad! This is an amazing place in the history of Anaheim. Known for great food and service. Most of what we saw was right on track. However we were saddled with one of the worst servers I have ever encountered. While watching the make server interact often with his customers, our young lady visited 1 time for every 5 visits from him. One of our party wanted no ice in her water. It took 10 minutes. I timed it. We ordered desert at the beginning of our meal as it takes 25 minutes. We asked for coffee to go with it after dinner. Desert came, no coffee. Asked again, no coffee. Once We had finished desert, the coffee arrived. We sent it back as she blamed the bartender for the screw up. Even though everything else was a mess, she took no responsibility for any of her pure laziness. During our 10 min water wait, she was chatting with other employees, including one who was eating at the table next to us. When she brought our bill, she put another servers name on it,(Pour Juan). Her name was really IRIS. We ordered 3 entrees, 1 did not arrive with the others. No explanation, no apologies. By the time the 3rd arrived, the first 2 were cold. Complaints were made to the manager, who removed the desert from the bill and reduced the total bill by 20% which is the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

This place is interesting. The exterior features astro turf and a pole barn garage wedding venue. The entire inside is full of murals and faux-gold trim, including former US presidents’ names on office placards designating each room’s name. Let’s talk food. The cioppino was meh and the family appetizer was just silly. WTF with crummy sushi at an italian place? Finally, let’s get back to the«international celebrity» comments. On the back of the menu, some paragraphs note that the chef is an international celebrity. Huh??? Who??? I don’t think so. C’mon, knock that crap off and focus on your food. Everybody’s ancestors were immigrants at some time, focus on the food. Focus hard. If you want to be a world-renowned northern Italian place, ditch all the cheesy faux-italian stuff(and the ridiculous pole barn and astro turf) and make good food.

Man… for an upscale fancy restaurant, I’ve definitely experienced better. This place is not as fancy or as big as its reputation has it to be. Customer service is great, very nice and polite. Food: We did the groupon which is for 2 people and it was decent, not the best but decent, prob not worth the money. the steak has no flavor or juices and the outside is just crispy… lobster was okay prob could have used more butter. and the dessert was funny but a little too sweet. The big issue we had that messed up our little birthday date was the small fruit flies… I had one show up on my salad and crawl around which the waiters were nice enough to bring a new one, but its hard to come back from bugs to go back to eating… then later on in the night I found another one walking around my wine glass taking a sip and hanging out. all night they were hanging out around our food and faces… this was rough to sit through… might not go back there ever… its just hard to try and be romantic and elegant at a place like this all dressed up and having small fruit flies around overall service is great, they did a little birthday thing for my girlfriend, but food and ambiance is not so good for the price…

This place is REALLY trying to be a high class restaurant, and seriously failing at it. The establishment is tacky inside and out– from the outside fake grass to the cheesy wallpaper. There is nothing appealing about this place. We had a dinner here for 16 guests. They divided a room for us upstairs using portable dividers. As we were taking a picture at the dinner table, one of the dividers FELL over and was about to fall on my godson’s head.(he is 12MONTHS old and in a baby seat). Luckily, his dad saved him and threw the divider off one inch before impact! One of our guests is handicap and using a walker. They do NOT have elevator or handicap access anywhere!(It’s like this place is waiting to be sued.) Service was okay. The employees really should have a cleaner/tasteful appearance. I don’t think any of the employees here have any restaurant experience. They also showed a great lack of professionalism as they all hangout in the hallways just gossiping about their personal lives. I THOUGHT the food was OKAY– Until I was up all night and morning with a stomach ache in and out of the restroom!(tmi?) I got up at 3am just to throw up. My salad was good I always love salads. I then had the rigatoni pasta and some stuffed chicken. These«towers» they put on all the plates were just a disappointment. The waitresses were clumsy and kept dropping them all over the room. Appetizers and desserts were not good at all, maybe just stick with chocolate covered strawberries. I strongly advice avoiding the soufflé. So overall, I would not recommend to anyone and I am never coming back.

I received a gift certificate to this restaurant as part of a Secret Santa gift this past Christmas and my husband and I finally went this past Sunday. Our reservation was for 6:00 pm and we were seated promptly. For our appetizer we got the Lobster Ravioli which was really tasty as the rice paper was light and the lobster filling was very flavorful; the ginger citrus sauce also added to the flavor. I ordered the Braised Beef; the short rib was cooked to perfection as I did not even need a knife to cut through the meat. The cabernet sauvignon wine reduction that was used to braise the short rib was also over the yellow polenta was so fantastic. My husband ordered the Hanger Steak(medium rare) and that too was also very flavorful and very tender. We also ordered the garlic mashed potatoes to share however we would not have needed that order as the portions were just perfect. Overall, our experience at the Anaheim White House was really good. I am looking forward to coming back and trying something new and maybe even getting a bottle of wine and getting a dessert. Thank you for a great dining experience!

I was really excited to go to the Anaheim White House for the first time especially since it is right down the street from my home. It’s the perfect setting to have special events at, as it is beautiful. But I have to say I was really disappointed once we were there. Food was great but the service honestly was horrible. The service was so bad it literally took all the joy in even being there or enjoying the food!!! I expected that this place would be my «go to» spot for Sunday brunch. We will never go back there again, that’s how bad the service was. I came in for Sunday brunch on Feb. 21, 2016, and it was not busy.

This was my second time coming here and, while I didn’t remember it being mind-blowing the first time around, either my taste buds changed or they really brought their A game. We got the prix-fixe Groupon for four people with five courses each and it was seriously worth it. The first course was tempura artichoke hearts with cheese, pesto, and aioli. It was so good and the presentation was wonderful. The second course was a lobster and crab ravioli and you could definitely tell that the crab was real and fresh. I’d pay good money to eat it again. The third course was a salad with an original passion fruit and ginger vinaigrette. It totally sounds like a weird combination but it worked and I’d buy that dressing if they ever sold/released it and straight up drink it. The fourth course was slightly disappointing since their steak wasn’t salted enough but it was alright if you smothered it in their gorgonzola cheese sauce. The lobster was nice, big, and tasted fresh but I’m not a big fan of lobster in general. For dessert, there’s a choice of fresh fruit and chocolate banana tart and, if you want to get your money’s worth, you should go with the tart. I wish I had an extendable jaw like an eel to really get all the flavors together since eating the tart row by row really took away from the combination of ice cream, pastry, banana, banana cream, spun sugar, and semi-sweet chocolate. The sugar was a little hard and I didn’t eat too much since I thought it’d scrape the roof of my mouth raw but maybe I was eating it wrong. The service was good but I had two minor complaints. The first was that there was one very tiny bug flying around from time to time and it actually landed in my wine. I was in the mood to finish the wine before it landed and I definitely wasn’t in the mood after it took a dip. It didn’t fly around anyone at my table so I guess it just liked where I was sitting and it’s not a huge deal. The second complaint is that the plate decorations are nice but since you don’t have to actually eat them, it seems like a waste of puff pastry and food, in general. My review is more like a 4.5 out of 5. Too bad we can’t add fractions.

I first want to say that I have been looking forward to eating here for about 3 years… Last night we had reservations at 7pm. The service here is very very slloooww. The waiter was training someone and they were both non existent. I waited for 20 min for wine list, I was told they don’t have any available. Really? It took about an hour it even get served wine. Wow. We ordered our food I wanted to split the Cioppino and also ordered the Bison. The Cioppino never came and the Bison was tasteless and the mash potatoes were blah. I fell that it lacked overall flavor and was not seasoned properly. My husband got the seafood black Linguine and they didn’t even offer grated Parmesan. That is crazing coming from a fine dining Italian restaurant. Olive Garden offers that. I must say the jacky o was amazing, but a little over the top and didn’t know it would be so BIG. When I asked about the cioppino I was told that they thought I canceled it. Where did they get that from? Anyway I asked for it to go then. When getting home I notice it was in a sandwich Styrofoam container with no broth. Please see picture. Mind you this was $ 45 dollars and it’s going in the trash. Overall. I spend $ 700 last night for ok food, great dessert and bad service. Never again.

Our dinner experience was nice. We got a groupon deal recently for a 4 course meal and it was a very good deal and the food was pretty good for what we paid for it. The menu came with a history of the building and where their name came from. Many years ago it was glorious, but now it’s definitely showing some age. We loved the lit white columns in the front of the building. The food was beautifully presented and the portion sizes were huge. We definitely did not finish and had to bring alot of it home. The entrée was surf and turf with a nice piece of fillet mignon and a lobster tail. The filet was a good cut of meat and very tender. The rice cup of salad was not only delicious but very pretty to look at. Our dessert was the most amazing, so flaky and just so beautiful with the sugar art on top. The service was good for most of the evening, with some occasional absence. Overall a nice experience.

Been here a couple times awhile awhile back in 2010 and 2014. Food isn’t great but you’re paying for ambiance or eventful night. Brought my mom here for mother’s day dinner. Its definitely a fun spot since the food is decorative, the house is nice. Its a great place for an eventful night: Birthday, mothers day, fathers day, romantic date, xmas dinner, something special. I’m not sure if there is much private rooms. You’re sitting in a house full of tables, so don’t expect too much privacy. But both times my mom went, I think she either had an upset stomach or food poisoning days later? So she vowed she would never go again.

I honestly wasn’t too thrilled to dine here from looking through the pictures on Unilocal. The leaning towers and swans they make using chips look tacky to me. However, presentation aside, the food itself was not bad. My favorite dish was the Lobster Cioppino, which is a seafood stew made out out of lobster, calamari, muscles, and shrimp. The seafood was succulent and fresh, and the sauce was so good that I still wanted to lick my plate after I had finished it. I know it’s very easy to overcook this dish, since each seafood element varies in terms of time to cook, but luckily they timed it right. Overall, I’m impressed. The décor isn’t trendy or modern, but it’s certainly unique and charming. My friend also told me that they donate food to the homeless. Not sure if that’s true, but if so, kudos to them!

I ate here last night with a group, we sat in the Roosevelt Room. It turns out that Bruno was on site, perhaps he even assisted in making our meal — who knows. I do feel service could have improved, no one came around to ask everyone if they wanted dessert, luckily I gave mine at the time I ordered my entrée since they emphasized it takes 30 minutes to make dessert. On the other hand, this may have been due to them sticking to our requested time block. Btw Parking is Valet only and $ 5

This place was awesome. We got a groupon deal, which included a glass of champagne and wine, along with a 5-course prix fix menu for two. +Food: The food was excellent. It came in small portions, but trust me, it adds up. We had tempura artichoke hearts, lobster ravioli, contemporary greens(a salad with shrimp cracker), surf and turf, and a choice between chocolate banana tart or assorted fruits. For dessert, I’d recommend getting one of each as he banana tart can be overwhelming. Plus you can use the assorted fruits as a palate cleanser. +Service: They checked up on us every time. Very attentive servers. The only negative is have to give is that we had 3 – 4 different servers. I’d like it if we had just once server, but it wasn’t a big deal. +Ambiance: We went in November and they had already decorated the place in holiday lights. I like how this place is versatile in terms of mood and dress code. It can be very dressy or casual. Just a tip for those going, they only do valet so make sure you tip! :) Also, I’m not sure if they change their prix fix menu, but is definitely come back to try the rest.

Restaurante lindo e elegante.
