I don’t know what it is but every fast food place on this god foresaken shithole of a highway has absolute garbage service. It’s not a staffing thing, they always seem to have 10 people behind the counter. Legit no line and you’re still waiting 10 minutes for a soggy Big Mac. Fucking bullshit.

This Travel Plaza, near Schenectady, has a 24 hour McDonalds, with drivethru. There’s a Dippin Dots, Hebew National Hotdogs, Gourmet Pretzels. ATM and a small gift shop. Not my fav Travel Plaza, I don’t find the vendors to be options I choose often, although the McDs is nice to have. Between exists 27&26 heading East.

A small travel plaza on the New York Throughway. Not much here a smallish store a McDonalds and one other fast food outlet. Clean bathrooms and bottled water and snacks for a long drive.
