I’ve only been here twice. The first time, Sandy cut my hair from (men’s) long to pretty short, and it was great! The second time, I wanted a tiny tiny trim of my medium-​length hair. With a different person (not Sandy), I articulated that I wanted maybe ¼ inch off, a slight trim but was otherwise happy with my hair exactly as is. She cut off almost all of it, definitely at least an inch (which was only two or so inches to start), and left none of the same style it had had. Additionally, while shaving my neck, I felt the clippers hurting me repeatedly — it wasn’t until later that night that a friend acknowledged I had cuts all over my neck. The first time I went was great, but it is highly unlikely I’m going to go back after this second experience and complete waste of money for something I did not want and also physically hurt me.

I have been taking my three year old here since he had his first haircut. Sandy and Stacy are both fantastic at what they do. They are fast and patient with a very twitchy and wiggly kid and give a great haircut! They have a few kids books and toys to keep him entertained and a nice selection of lollipops. My husband has since started going to sandy for his cuts. He said it’s always a pleasure to sit and chat with her.

I had my hair cut here a few months ago and was very satisfied. After walking around on a busy day downtown, I walked in to Sandy’s shop after seeing an advertisement for haircuts starting at $ 14. When I entered, there was no one waiting so she took me right away. After telling her that I needed a few inches off, she proceeded to give me one of the best and most efficient haircuts I have ever gotten. It took 5 – 10 minutes tops. When complimented, she informed me that she has been in the business for many years. Sandy’s is my new barbershop!

My boyfriend got his haircut here and unfortunately wasn’t too thrilled with the end product once we got home. Needless to say he probably should have been more specific in what he wanted, but there are just certain parts that were not cut correctly vagueness or not. I also feel that if there was any vagueness then the stylist should have clarified beforehand.
I really do hate giving establishments low ratings but the more we look at his hair the more we see that doesn’t look good.
