Emily’s Amherst Bed & Breakfast

The only place to stay when in the area, for me. Casual comfort, a real retreat. Superb location: quiet street in the midst of Amherst Center action. Help yourself anytime hearty continental breakfast. Rooms named for favorite authors. I’ve had rooms in the main house and the carriage house, each room unique, always clean, comfy, quiet.

Emily’s was wonderful! My boyfriend and I stayed in the upstairs of the carriage house. We had a huge room to ourselves and they were able to accommodate us the same day without a reservation on a Friday night. They provided fresh muffins and continental breakfast as well as a full kitchen and our own private bath. The atmosphere was so pleasant and welcoming, I would recommend this spot to everyone!

I had no idea what to expect, and absolutely loved this B&B. We stayed in the carriage house, separate from the main house. It was very relaxing, and beautiful in a kind of organic way with lots of light, plants, wood, wonderful bright colors, antique stove, etc. Very cozy and unique design. I don’t think the website photos do the carriage house rooms justice. The grounds are also very nice and peaceful. I wanted to stay there forever!
Breakfast was set up for us in the carriage house with a stove we could use, which was very convenient. Also the B&B is centrally located which made things easier. We traveled as a group with another family and it was perfect.

A great little Bed and Breakfast located within walking distance of downtown Amherst and near Amherst College (All you smart prep skool kids can put your parents up here) and UMASS (All you cool kids can put your parents up here, too.)
The wife and I spent one night in a one bedroom, basically an apartment. It was clean and super comfy. A stall shower in the bathroom with great water pressure was so nice. The kitchen had a fridge, stove and a toaster. Also a coffee maker and a nice table to sit at and enjoy breakfast. Fruit, cereal as well as pastries and some Thomas’ English Muffins were provided.
Great location and a reasonable rate. Will definitely make another trip when returning. We slept really well here.
