AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

I’ve been using AAMCO for almost 6 years. They are my mechanics. I’ve referred them over and over. My buddy recommended a guy working out of his garage when my van needed it’s timing belt and water pump replaced because he was very inexpensive. AAMCO (without knowing about the other bid) beat the price by $ 200 and guaranteed the work. Very pleased with AAMCO always give me a fair price and do great work.

Wood, the owner, and his son are as honest as they come. Prior to going to Aamco, I visited another mechanic because I suspected something was wrong with my transmission and was given a quote of $ 400. I went to Aamco and was told that there was nothing wrong with my transmission. Rather, my air filter was extremely dirty so the engine couldn’t breathe and the symptoms mimicked transmission issues. I had a cleanable air filter, they cleaned it, and sent me on my way without paying for it.
I’ve taken my cars back every single time because I trust that they’ll give me the best price and do good work. I only docked them a star because their waiting room is cold. It would be nice if they had a TV or WIFI in there.
