I absolutely LOVE this place. It’s my go-to for lunch and to meet friends for a quick bite to eat. They have different daily specials and at this point I believe that I have tried them all. Their Swedish meatballs are many large meatballs in a brown gravy atop a bed of mashed potatoes in a bowl. Their deliteful montecristo is layers of fillo dough with melted cheese and shaved turkey, served with lingonberry sauce. These are by far my favorite dishes and I literally crave them. Each meal comes with unlimited rolls, one pretzel and one typical dinner. I now buy the pretzel rolls by the dozen(usually the day old ones because they’re cheaper!) and they add something to every meal. I’ve tried several of their desserts, which are great, but their entrees are what keeps me coming back. The establishment seems to be family owned and I’ve enjoyed my interactions with the staff/family. I highly recommend this place to anyone that hasn’t tried it. Go for it, you won’t regret it.

The best cinnamon rolls in Amarillo, by a long shot. They have traditional, orange, & caramel… they are all DELICIOUS! They are also less than $ 3/each, which is a steal! {village bakery used to charge almost $ 5/each} They also have liege waffles, which are smaller & crispier than traditional waffles. All I can say is YUM! They are perfection. They have little sugar crystals baked right in & you just eat them by hand {no syrup needed!} They also offer many fresh baked breads & they have several different desserts, pies, & cheesecakes every day.

I’m sooooooo glad I came here! Came in for breakfast and coffee on a Saturday. The man who helped me was SO kind(didn’t catch his name). There was no one else in here besides me — which was shocking as this place is amazing. I’m here early im sure :) I had a caramel cinnamon roll! Not too caramelly. The bread was sticky, gooey, fluffy and delicious. Everyone here makes you feel so welcome. They also have loaves of bread and rolls for sale that look fantastic Anyways just come here.

Love this restaurant! Firstly, the owner is a gem. They only serve a few items every day, because everything is made fresh, in house, daily. My favorite is Friday, they have their baked version of a Monte Cristo and it’s definitely a must try. The breads and cinnamon rolls are all amazingly flavorful and soft, the freshest baked goods to be had in town!

I have yet to have anything on the menu that want excellent. Joni, Chris and their staff know how to make you feel welcome and fill you up with great food. If you leave hungry it’s your own fault.
