Had to come get a little piece of heaven today because I’ve been doing really great with my diet and needed a Peanut Buster Parfait to reward myself. A great end of the day treat.

This is the SECOND time I’ve had to go INSIDE to get my food ordered through the drive thru after waiting in the parking lot 10 minutes. So frustrated with this visit cause I saw our food just sitting there. They didn’t even check it! The previous visit was MUCH worse. Definitely avoid this location!!! HORRIBLESERVICE!

Horrible Dairy Queen, Stay away! I was driving through Alvin and figured I would stop for some ice cream. I had my mother in the car as well as my younger sister. We were third in line for the drive thru and had to wait 10 minutes to get to the speaker to place our order. Once we got to the speaker we were asked to hold. Five minutes go by and I finally say«hello» into the speaker and was followed by a «What do you want». I placed my order and moved forward and waited another 20 minutes to get to the window, I wanted to leave but was already blocked in. Once I got to the window, I waited to be helped. As I waited I watched the employees play, talk to one another, and drink their own drinks. Finally this lady opened the window and asked«What do you want?» I replied with«My food!» She walked away and came back with my two ice creams and a small drink. I said I ordered a large drink, she said«We’ll they told me a small so I have a small for you.» I said«that is not what I ordered, I want a large drink.» The lady in the window just stared at me like she didn’t know what I was saying. Then said«So you don’t want a drink?» I drove off mad and stressed out! This Dairy Queen needs all new employees and needs training quick!

I came through the drive thru and only ordered a kids meal & small shake. I was given a number and then asked to pull around & wait. I waited nearly 15 minutes. If I had wanted to wait this long I would have come inside or gone to Whataburger.

I seriously just got sent to park I was the only one in the drive thru and they told me to go park. After a few minutes a truck pulls up to the drive thru and they didn’t get sent to go park. Wtf. They are always so SLOW here!

Super slow. Never go here unless you have 30 minutes to spare. That is both drive through & going on the inside.

Love their chicken strip and steak fingers basket and their special promotions or deals. Good icecream. Love the variety of food.

The food is good and the workers are nice but the service is extremely slow. Every time we have been here the wait after your order has been place has been ridiculously long. On one of the few visits we waited nearly 30 minutes. I would come here more often if the service was faster

I’m going to a Dairy Queen based on the recommendations of a 10 year old. Normally, this would not be my choice. But I’m in small town America and they do make those dipped ice creams… I’m not a fast food fan nor junkie by any means preferring something with an Asian flair over this any day always: I order some chicken sandwich. I think we get the guy who is in training and definitely still in high school. He’s slow, but doesn’t care. This at first annoys me; impatient, hot, hungry Californian that I am. He’s barely gotten straight what my husband and I want and we have 3 kids we’re ordering for too. We’re seated, no beverages. No, this is not California. Finally the manager comes over and apologizes and the drinks start showing up. It is prime lunch time here and on a weekday. There seems to be a steady stream of «regulars» and workday people in and out. I don’t know where they all come from. This town seems really slow and completely devoid of busy; at least to me. Surprisingly when our meal shows up, it’s all correct. And it tastes pretty good. And it was cheap for the 5 of us — $ 20. Now I can relax and enjoy my granddaughter and try to appreciate what this life must be like. Living in small town America. It’s really kind of nice at times, certainly a lot more laid back than where I live. They refill our drinks for free and the kids get some ice cream. I can share a cone. Hee, heee; not have to eat it all. Yes, life is not too bad here this Monday afternoon in Alvin, Texas. And this Dairy Queen is not such a bad place to be either.
