Chili’s

Trying a Sunday happy hour in the bar. Starting with the presidential margarita and the basket of chips with salsa. I’ll include a picture of the glob of chips. For the uninitiated, the glob of chips is when they come out of the oven and 3 to 5 chips are all smashed together.

This was the most horrible experience we have had here. My family and I have been coming here for years and we have a steady decline in service for the past year. The waitress did not put our order in for the skillet queso, admitted it was her fault, then just said she would take it off our bill. She never asked if we still wanted it or offered anything in return. Then she brought the entrees out without the side of vegetables. She said she didn’t want the rest of our food to get cold. How long does it take to steam broccoli? Something is not working here and it’s a shame. The food was cooked right and tasted good, which is the only reason I’m giving one star. This is not the first time we have had a less than pleasurable dining experience. We’ve had multiple servers with the same problems. My family and I will no longer be dining at this establishment.

Chili’s was an understatement. It was cold outside and even colder inside. We asked the server to try to get the heat turned up, but she never did and never said if they could or couldn’t.
The food was good, service was so-​so at best. Service is ALWAYS better at the bar. We eat here regularly and always sit at the bar.

Seems like everyone that works here doesn’t really want to work here. There are a handful of servers that are decent, but most of the staff is either a mess, or doesn’t give a crap about good service or high quality food. The worst thing is when I order TOGO, and everything is ALWAYS such poor quality. I don’t know why I keep returning. I will say, I have had a pleasant experience with one of the female managers, when one of our plates never came out, she compensated our whole meal and was happy to do so without us asking.

It’s under renovation and looking good but I kinda miss the way it used to be — I hope they finish soon, looking forward to seeing the end result — food is usually standard at all chains and that’s what makes it

It’s become a regular thing getting cold food and half ass service with the Chili’s brand. Same story here, our fries came out cold and hard and my wings were also cold. It took forever to get the food and it comes out cold !! It’s a real shame because the burgers are actually good if you can get them hot. Poor service all around.

The food is great considering your not at a high dollar restaurant. They have excellent drink choices and very nice dessert menu. The food menu allows for lower calorie choices. The atmosphere is very casual. You can now re-​order drinks and pay check on tablet on table. Kids can also play games on tablet while you wait. Never had a problem with service.

My kids joined me when I visited. The wsit is probably the only thing I have to complain about. We waited just like everyone else. No sign in sheet and no one at the door to see who was next. Wait time was about 35 minutes.
When we were finally seated, Jon came to our table took our drink order and upon return with our drinks, he took our food order. He was fast, efficient and made sure we were happy with our order. The food was prepared properly and just as we ordered it.
He made sure to refill our drinks and stopped ny several times to make sure we were doing ok or if we needed anything else.
Jon is the main reason I would go back here other than for the food.

This place is horrible like the other reviewers said. The service is almost non-​existent. The food is served in a very unsanitary manner and I won’t be back again. Ever.

this place is why I hate American food stay away if you are smart

This location is the poster child for bad service. I have been four times — once at dinner, twice at lunch and once in mid-​afternoon. Each time service was HORRIBLE.
The food was standard fare, warm and well presented… just like any Chili’s restaurant — not great but not disgusting. Twice they put stuff on my bill that I did not order, and it seemed that the waitress had to get approval from corporate to have it removed (ie: it took forever).
AND every time I have been here it has taken over an hour to get our food, even in the middle of the afternoon when half of the restaurant is shut down and there were only four other patrons there. It should not take an hour to prepare a sandwich and soup. Its not even just the kitchen that is slow, but waitstaff are extremely inattentive and seem more interested in playing on their cellphones or chatting up with coworkers. On my most recent visit, I couldn’t get the attention of all the waitstaff huddled in front of the bar TV, so I got up and found a pitcher of tea to refill my own drink… not once but THREE TIMES! One of the waitresses glanced over and saw me doing this, smiled, and went back to chatting with her friends!!!
I even tried to complain to the manager on my last visit, but my waitress told me he was «on break». Must have been a lunch break, because I waited around an extra 45 minutes to complain and he was still «on break» when I left.
Needless to say, I’ve given this location several chances thinking that maybe I was just there on a bad day or having bad luck; however I’ve come to conclusion that staff and management here are just poorly trained and don’t care about the customers. I won’t be coming back to this place to give it 5^th «chance».

Why me? I pick this place because its consistent and it was anything but. The food was terrible. We went in for lunch at 11 and were the first ones in… I know they just opened but I’ve never seen a really empty Chili’s. We looked at each other and thought «this isn’t a good sign»… I don’t think my food could have been more bland and the chicken on the lunch pasta was downright cold. I should have ordered some greasy crap… may have gone better. Damn I hated this lunch, I would never go back here!
