Smashburger

Service has gone tumbling down hill lately. Been here 45 min watching my food sit in the window for the past 15.

Service w/​a grin would have been an upgrade. Not sure who pissed in her corn flakes, but it didn’t make me feel like a welcome guest. My burger will be out soon, and whether it’s amazing or burnt hair, I won’t be back – at least to this location.

The food was good even though the bread and fries were cold. On the other hand, the service was terrible; our party included 6 people, and they were bringing our food one by one. The cashier roll her eyes at us. They did not have a lemonade, sprite or fanta in their beverage area. It Was a horrible service experience.

Not bad — you’re typical fast-​casual burger joint with burgers that are above average and great sweet-​potato fries. Pare these with one of the hand-​spun shakes (like with salted-​caramel ice cream!) and you’ll have a feast. As with the other locations, this one is clean and the service is at least passable to good. I think the ingredients are a bit better than 5-​Guys and the choices are quite good — think about this place more for lunch and you’ll do fine.

We decided to give this place a try and were not disappointed. We came in at 6pm on a Friday which is an off time for them. We were greeted immediately, placed our orders and food was delivered perfect to how we ordered. The selection of burgers, chicken and salads is really great, offers something for every diet. The French fries are also really good, crispy and small. Burgers we tried were the goat cheese one and bacon cheeseburger. Both delicious with good flavor. All of the burgers are served well but are still very juicy. They also offer call ahead ordering during their busier times for convenience

As an American, I love a good burger and happened to come across this place and really enjoyed it. The food was fast, hot and delicious. I recommend the smash fries with olive oil and rosemary, very tasty.

Mostly okay food but, frankly, not worth it.
Burgers are hot but lack flavor. I had a BBQ Bacon burger and couldn’t really taste much of anything. Fries were hit but, again, unimpressive. Especially at these prices (lunch for 3 was $ 35). Candidly 5 Guys or even Burger King have much better burgers and fries.
In the arena of burgers just hit isn’t enough… you need flavor.
But the real «what the heck» moment was the bizarre staff. Only 2 employees here and both left to smoke in front of the store only to rush back in when a customer walked in. I’ve never seen anything like that before.
And, adding insult to bemusement, when they came to clear the table he reeked of smoke. Yuck!
I do not think we will be back.

Ate at Smashburger for first time and loved it. found it different from other conventional burger joints. Tried the Georgia burger worth grilled chicken and the smash fries. Nice taste. and definitely different variety for chicken burgers vs other places like Wendy’s and chick-​fil-​a.

The burger was ok, price was not terrible, I personally don’t like shoe string fries, but they were good. The place was clean. But for the price and in the area five guys is much better burger… smashburger is also much better than burgerfi.

Let me start by saying that I only came here because I had a free side item coupon (with the purchase of an entrée). I ordered the Spicy Jalepeno Baja chicken sandwich along with the Rosemary & Garlic Fries. I only got these fries because they were out of the spicy sauce for the Buffalo Fries. This is the second time this has happened so I find it odd. Baby, all you need is hot sauce. Go buy some and toss the fries in that — success! As I waited, I couldn’t help but notice the dank smell of the place. While it doesn’t stink, you can tell that the tables (most like the floors) are being cleaned with dirty or compromised towels. It’s a very common smell when something’s been wet and hasn’t been allowed to dry before being soiled again. I looked around and just noticed how dark the place was. It’s not a very lively place AT ALL. All of my issues were resolved the moment my food was presented. THIS SANDWICH WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! OMG! The sandwich and fries were cooked perfectly. That said, please take care of this place in terms of the appearance and cleanliness. And get some hot sauce! Other than that, it was great.

Smash Burger has decent burgers and such but what ruins it for this particular location is the lack of adequate staff. There is no reason whatsoever that you should have ONE person running a register on a Friday during the lunch rush. Oh, and that same person also is bringing orders to tables.
Totally and completely unacceptable. This is a complete fail by the management and it needs to be remedied immediately. If you don’t have enough staff, GET MORE. It’s that simple. If you can’t meet the demand, you should close or let someone else who can take over.

Gross. I’ve been to Yeah burger, Burger Fi, and Five Guys. This place didn’t even come close to tasting good. It was forgettable at best. Staff was nice, but place was dirty and food was slow slow slow to arrive, not to mention they got our order wrong. I don’t get the appeal.

Just swing by for a fast burger. The food is to grease but the customer service was great. I love they milk shake.

Came here tonight for the first time for dinner with my dad and brother with a $ 40 groupon, so we had to get some of everything in order to get the best out of that coupon. We were very pleased! I had the Big SmashBurger and the chocolate oreo shake. Bro had the Big Georgia Burger and salted caramel shake. Dad had the Big Bacon Cheeseburger and an iced tea. We all split the SmashFries and fried pickles. We enjoyed the food! Every bit of it got eaten except the pickles, which just boiled down to personal preference. Quick service. Place was kind of empty, even for a weeknight. Overall a great visit! We will be back.

This place was great! I went on a Sunday at lunch time but it surprisingly wasn’t crowded (it was also pouring down rain though). I got the avocado club sandwich and it was delicious! I was hesitant to try the smash fries because Rosemary and olive oil sounded gross but man were they awesome! Also the customer service was great and my food was freshly cooked and ready about 8 minutes after ordering! I will definitely be returning next time I’m in town!

The burger is delicious! This is my first time ever at a smash burger and my experience was great! Fast courteous service and great customer service. The restaurant is clean and the décor is trendy and eye catching.
I tried the avocado burger $ 5.99 and smash fries $ 1.99. Both were very good. Food is made to order and it did not take long.
I would recommend this place.

Better than FiveDudes, BurgerWiFi, and all the other fast food burger chains around this busy part of town, so why not four stars? The ambience, and odd layout of the seating area???
The menu is far simpler than BurgerFI across the street, and even a few bucks cheaper, so initially I was impressed with the options and quickness in which we were attended to and ordered up. The folks helping us from behind the counter very fairly helpful and actually smiled, which is a tough thing, given the area in which this restaurant is situated. The usual customers from this area are the epitome of douchebags, and I can only imagine what type of flack the employees at this location must take in their daily operations.
That being said, there was the burger, which is very tasty with the options I chose, with a nice char on the meat, and decent topping amounts for an overall good burger experience. Smashfries are where it’s at though, with just enough olive oil and rosemary to satiate my palate which can have fries everywhere else on this planet. The ladyfriend had the Baja burger and commented on the usage of actual fresh jalapenos versus pickled and was impressed from the get-​go. Nice touches like this are what makes a fast meal memorable, so places using pickled anything should take note.
Aside from the food, there was the dark and occasionally broken layout of this place, which will not keep me from coming back, but is notable. The narrow space doesn’t offer much seating other than what is available, so I can’t fault the management with making do, but if this place gets really busy, then I can see people bumping into one another. Again, if this was a Michelin-​rated restaurant, then someone would actually care, but you ARE here for a burger and fries.
I will most likely use their online app and pick up dinner in the near future on my way home, and the seating won’t have any effect on this fat-​kid.

Came by to meet up some friends for dinner a few days ago. We chose this place since it was in the middle since our friends were coming down from Dahlonega. It was the first time for all four of us, so we took a bit trying to figure out what to order. We all ended up building our own burger.
It wasn’t bad, but not my cup of tea. Everyone else enjoyed it though, which is why I’m giving this place 3 stars. I tend to like a mix of flavors and sauces, but they weren’t offered here. The jalapeños were definitely not spicy at all, which was a bummer.
Kayla actually read reviews prior to coming, and she was a bit hesitant due to the bad reviews, but she said they were wrong because she really enjoyed her burger. She also got an oreo shake, and they ended up making extra, so they gave us that as well, free of charge.
