The staff went above and beyond to help me get some Halloween themed lights (on Aug. 3rd!) needed for a film shoot the same evening. Eric offered to run to the storage nearby and get them, and was truly my hero. He didn’t have to go to all that trouble, but he did, and he seemed happy to do it. The Party Spot has a customer for life now. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Pretty limited choices since all the aisles were nearly empty. The people behind the counter we’re pretty lack luster, and never offered to help even though there was only one other customer in the store. I ended up buying a package of balloons, but would have bought much more if they had any supplies at all!

Not a great place for party supplies. The store itself is pretty small already and then they were out of half the things they’re supposed to have in stock. You can see my pictures that show the empty aisles. It looks like they just don’t re-​stock on the items they used to have. I was trying to plan a baby shower and needed some general decoration and it was really, really slim pickings. In my picture you can see only a handful of blue colored items for a baby boy shower. I tried to get blue colored utensils but couldn’t get a whole set of forks, spoons, and knives because they were out of one of the items. I would recommend you to just shop on Amazon for your party supplies. I would have too if I were more prepared and didn’t wait for the last minute to try and buy everything. Oops.

The Party Spot? It should be called The Party Not!
My daughter and I went in to get some fun decorations and photo booth supplies for her birthday party and walked out empty handed and less than impressed. There were two employees working at the time and both stood behind the counter looking at their cell phones or their belly buttons, it was hard to tell which. They barely acknowledged us when we came in and never once came out to help us find anything. Not that there was much to find, the shelves were really empty. It actually looked like the place was going out of business and as far as I’m concerned it might as well.
I love to support local businesses but these guys made me turn to Amazon to find what we needed.

I drove quite a way to come here and was extremely disappointed. Almost every aisle was bare with very little stock. WHen I asked worker why there was so little stock, he said” oh, umm. we just haven’t been able to order anything yet”. Really, what does that mean? I’ll never be back.

First of all, I know one of the owners and he is a really stand-​up guy. So, if you are like me and like to support local businesses, this is a good option.
The store itself is very clean and well organized. The staff is friendly and attentive and will gladly help you come up with ideas. My recommendation is to go in with an open mind rather than a predetermined party theme, and let the store inspire you! They are also VERY good about responding to inquiries via social media, so I suggest checking that out as well!

With all local Party City’s closed, we had high hopes that The Party Spot would fill that void for the occasional birthday or theme party. In this case, we were in search of Superbowl Sunday and Valentine decorations. We were sadly disappointed.
The Party Spot’s selection was «sparse» at best. There were no SuperBowl decorations, minus a few mylar balloons that had been bought well in advance. They didn’t have any generic football stuff (unless you are a Duck or Beaver fan) and no team colors on display. The Valentine display had very little to pick from. You can find more Valentine decorations at your local Safeway or any Fred Meyer or Walgreens.
For a party store, this place did not measure up.

It’s here. Finally, we have a legitimate party supply store on the west side! It’s like someone took Party City and gave it a clean up job and a makeover. The Party Spot actually has decent, usable, cool party supplies. Not only is the selection wide, but it’s tasteful. The aisles are very well organized and the location is clean, convenient, and new.
The Party Spot carries a variety of themes from up-​to-​date kid friendly cartoon characters, to boas and tiaras for girls’ parties, to fun decorations for family barbecues. They have all the supplies, decorations, favors, and balloons you’ll need for a bash. What I really like is that instead of looking up lists or asking around, you can just walk in and come out with the right idea because they make it so easy to create a party in your head. It’s even fun just to browse the aisles. It’s like a west side Mecca for people who love to throw parties. Check it out.
